kind of obsessed with this song and this movie, I watch this video and listen over and over and it sounds better every time I listen, I am 65 years old to old to be obsessed with this but dam it gust resonates and really moves me, saw the movie about a year ago, one of the best vampire movies ever made in my opinion
Awesome direction made half this scene possibly the most reality based ( putting aside for a moment that one of these two is a vampyre ) love scene in film history. The song, the two actors, the ever so subtle facial tells of the young women caused the other half of the scene go incandescent.
Such a cute scene. I instantly fell in love with this scene when I first watched it. Especially the part where the vampire girl lays her head on the guy's neck (3:42). Cute.
The only bad thing about this scene is that you don't want to show it to someone who hasn't seen the film. By itself, the tension isn't there, and the "everything's gotta be love or death" doesn't resonate.
Interesting touch that all of the posters of the pop stars in the background are lookalikes and not the actual people. Makes the whole thing a bit more unsettling
Just for envisioning this scene with this song, Ana Lily Amirpour is a genius! The performances are also awesome. Every time I watch this scene, it moves me and makes me believe in the possibility of truly falling in love!
In this movie I can't believe I missed the girl with the pimp scenes - where she literally stands under a diamond warning road sign that is basically her on a skateboard! Absolutely classic brilliance!
It's like this song was written specifically for this scene. Perfect combination.
Well, this is fucking beautiful, man. One of my favorite scenes in a film ever, and... bravo.
If you haven't seen the movie it's amazing

This gave me sofia coppola and wong kar wai vibes
Especially as u see the background going faster than the close up
Very catchy tune
❤❤❤
Fear s got a hold on me ...
Love and death, good heavens, where do all the best stories come from after all?
❤️

🖤♥️
Weird fucking movie, but this scene was incredible
Sounds a little like Echo & the bunnymen.
Is the video in slowmotion?
no, it's just a very slow scene, the actors move very slowly and intentionally (:
You can see the lights in the background are moving quickly. The characters are just moving slowly.
