On my wrist today is my Lorier Falcon II in black/gilt. A 3-watch collection I could live with: my BB58 blue for daily wear, my SARB035 for dressier events or a change of pace, & my G-Shock DW5610 for any appropriate rougher occasions.
1. Omega Seamaster professionell 300M (black) 2. Rolex Datejust Rhodium Diamond dial 3. Omega Speedmaster white dial I have nr. 1 & 2 (within 1 year) and I would love to get me the new speedy, but as you mentioned other things are more important and maybe in view years.
@@nickbrooker1411 Ok, I mean, Seamaster 300M isn't a Rolex, but sure...all sports watches I guess doesn't make for an ideal 3-watch collection. Of course, it depends on your lifestyle. I use the Pepsi when I dress up to go to, say a wedding or the theater. With the jubilee bracelet, seems to work. The other two cover pretty much everything else for me.
Ok here is my question. My “main” collection(outside of a few vintage pieces from my parents is a Bremont alt1-c chrono, a Zenith reserve de marche with dual time for my dressy. Need a diver. But I’m falling in love with the speedy. Should I get a soeedmaster then maybe the Longines or a C Ward trident? Thoughts?
Not sure why so many think that a collection should include a chronograph. Most people probably never use the chronograph function. I believe a diver / beater, a nice sports watch, and a dress watch is a well balanced three watch collection.
What I got right now: Dive: SMP black dial Chrono: Speedmaster blue CK 2998 Field: Hamilton khaki mechanical white dial Looking to add a dress watch. Maybe a vintage 70s datejust.
Omega Speedmaster Professional is my chrono of choice, Tudor Black Bay Heritage as my sport/diver and Rolex Day/Date 36 Yellow Gold for my dress watch (a tinge of Tony Soprano-ness never hurt nobody).
For some reason Harrison isn’t Harrison today. And we thought it was for always. :-( For what it’s worth - lean into your uniqueness. No need to become a template of what people think you should be. Great content. As always.
I thought this was the best studio video he's done. Although the 'as always' is uniquely Harrison, it makes no sense and a good decision to remove, IMO.
