I always like the street markets and the interactions with the people in the street. If I was going to eat fish I would have a tuna fish sandwich not a fish with its head & tail still on it. 🙂Free beer even from the locals what more could you ask for.

ppl say el salvador is super dangerous but its not as bad as it seems. Everytime i go back to el salvador i feel pretty safe. You just have to use common sense like don't wear expensive brands, have an iphone out, and dont walk alone at night:)

Clothes sizes are almost like to fit people in famine. New generation are bigger then previous. The clothes sizes are like 1970 era when people might of been skinnier.

I couldn't find normal or tall sized clothes in Mexico. It's odd how other things imported exactly and clothes have to be different. Average Mexican lady can't fit into clothes sold at sports stores. Also the men it's odd the places have 40 dollars for tiny material. Pass US border Discount clothes store can get big and tall sizes 10 to 15 dollars.
I had similar problems in Africa too. Now I walked over 400 km since landing in Mexico and El Salvador, and I need to replace the shoes, but nobody has my size: for Nike, I wear 12 US

Markets are fine and fun like David said safe crime happend sometimes just with who mess with wrong People before now everything is better improving also People say or dont like to go to Markets because they feel they are hight class even they are not they pretend and talk negative obout this tipe of places just because humble People work and go buy there is ship is bad reputation because of that but reality is diferent People is nice they just working selling their stoff to get money to feed their families everything is fine nothing happend specially with tourist notbody mess with you Salvadoreams even criminals like tourist they curious about their culture etc
Funny people keep saying the place is risky, but you keep meeting nice, friendly people....the vendors don't charge you extra or try to take advantage of you...how ironic.

There are white salvadorians it’s not that uncommon to see a white person we call them cheles there are some regions you don’t seem much but the more north and east you’ll see many in San Salvador there are some too
