Grew up on this. One of my first VHS rentals as a kid. Such a good movie with such a great message. Found out years later it was based off a short story by Barry Longyear. Just amazing.
In all fairness, Jerry really thought saying, “Your Mickey Mouse is one big stupid dope!” to Dandrige was the equivalent of saying, “Jesus Christ is a steaming pile of shit.” to Dracks.
These two taught me what it means to dare to be brothers in spite of their differences. Rest in peace, Louis Gossett Jr.🙏

movies were so much better when we were growing up the technology may not have been as good as today but the stories were far superior
