Yo no se si piensan lo mismo que yo pero,mientras mas opiniones veo de este libro me di cuenta que la gente no entiende mucho este libro,junto la granja de los animales y 1984,Eric Arthu Blair (George Orwell),trato de mostrarnos como funciona la sociedad y como puede ser controlada y manipulada por gobiernos totalitarios,la diferencia es que la granja de los animales hablan sobre como funciona una sociedad normal que se vuelve totalitarista a base de un quiebre de la democracia y un golpe de estado provocado por pir Napoleón,1984 es de una sociedad totalitarista ya instalada que la venos a través de un ciudadano.El punto que quiero llegar que la mayoria de reseñas que he visto dicen que es una crítica al comunismo cuando no es así,el libro critica todas las ideologías totalitarias.

estoy de acuerdo contigo 1984 escrita por George Orwell entre 1947 y 1948 tenia una visión sobre las sociedades totalitarias fascismo, comunismo, gobiernos teocráticos, etc
Hay una evidente referencia al comunismo o en específico al estalinismo. Pero claro la reflexión intrínseca va más allá que la crítica a una ideología determinada.

John Hurt did an absolutely phenomenal job bringing Winston to the screen, Richard Burton was Outstanding and apparently was experiencing a tremendous amount of pain from the cancer that was killing him...plus the fact it's the only movie that truly brought the book to life and didn't veer away or change the story. It's an extremely depressing story though and I haven't watched it in quite a while.

Exacto, es una crítica al control estatal de los individuos, sean comunistas o no el Gobierno de turno. De hecho es bastante revelador ver como es el mundo en nuestros días y como ambos bandos usan técnicas parecidas al libro.

No sé si lee la mente. Sino que ya ha visto tantas veces lo que les sucede a los torturados que el resultado y respuestas son casi siempre las mismas. De tanta tortura y manipulación, las respuestas de un individuo que encima tiene un empobrecimiento de su propio lenguaje y capacidad de expresión (la Nuevalengua) NO PODRÁ DAR MUCHAS RESPUESTAS DIFERENTES.
