Damn you got a 2010 too?! I have a 2010 g37x, and I’ve been wanting to supercharge instead of turbo. How’s your reliability been since your install? Also how long has everything been installed
For the life of my I can’t get the belt on. Using a screw driver against triangle bracket for leverage. It’s not even close… the triangle has two holes to mount the idler pulley, i can get the belt on when it’s on top hole but then the belt rubs the grey sensor clip to the left, on the lower hole it clears no probably but it’s impossible to get the belt on. How did you do this?
@@nathansmith4774 cool. Just make sure you get some help so you don't accidentally crosstread the bolt. Not sure why I said strip on the vid.shouldnt be to difficult but does take affort.Goodluck!
Awesome overview. I’m in SA too and thinking about this kit butt the hood latch worries me. I reached out to Tipfunz and he said he has a new coupler that works. Have you heard anything like that or think someone could custom fabricate something to keep the latch?
Not sure if someone would be willing to fabricate something as it will honestly be way more trouble than it's worth. Installing hood latches is easier. As far as a new coupler goes I haven't heard anything but I can see that working as the supercharger sits a bit high and you just need about a inch to clear the latch. So if he has a coupler with a inch 1/2 or so curve with it I can see it working. Let me know if you need help with installation or modding
@@glife3725 Hey I'm seeing in your most recent videos that you were able to get it to fit back on, should've looked harder. I thought you were just running around with the intercooler showing all the time which had me worried about damage

I will post a short clip as soon as I get a chance.
Video is up,hope it helps!
@@glife3725 thanks, i watched it, I’ll give it a shot. I ordered a 54mm pulley to swap onto the triangle bracket as a backup plan.

What size pulley on the blower
For the hood clearance, do you have z1 motor mounts?
Hood clears fine but yes running z1 engine mounts
Hey man do you still have the oem crash bar laying around? Was looking to see how much it weighed. Thanks!
Looks like it weighs 8.8 lbs,
So right under 9 lbs.
@@glife3725 Thanks man!
can you still run long tube headers with this kit ?
Yes sir. You should be able to keep your whole exhaust setup as is.
Are you able to fit the bumper cover back on or no?
Not without cutting it. Its easier to just relocate the air filter behind the front grille
