Hi. I’ve already been to Tokyo and stayed in Shinjuku. I’m planning a 4-day trip around Christmas. Do you recommend Ginza as an area to stay? This time I’ll be traveling alone, and I’ve already visited several areas of Tokyo. Only walking, shopping ecc no nightlife…Thanks!

Hi! Thank you for watching my video! With regards to your query, Ginza is actually my favorite place these days when it comes to hotels. I like its relatively quiet atmosphere compared to the lively areas of Shinjuku or even Shibuya. You can easily walk along the streets browsing through the many shops and restaurants offering all sorts of goods. Flagship stores of most brands are also located in Ginza, which makes Ginza still Tokyo's main shopping area. Although once known to only cater to the upscale market, it now caters even to the lower or mid-scale shoppers, with the flagship stores of Uniqlo and Muji, among others, now in Ginza. For this particular hotel, there is a supermarket and Don Quijote just a few meters away so it is also very convenient. Ginza is also very near Tokyo station which makes it a good option if you want to do daytrips. So yes, to answer your question, I definitely recommend staying in Ginza for your trip this time.
All that said, I hope I was able to help you in planning for your upcoming trip. For more useful travel videos, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel in case you haven't. I have a few more videos on other Ginza hotels and attractions which you might also want to watch. Thanks again for watching! I hope you are having a good weekend! :)

Hi, thanks for the video, got an insights of the hotel😊, we're planning to stay here this summer, can you suggest the most convenient way to go to this hotel from narita airport

Hi Genalyn! Thank you for watching my video and for appreciating my work! With regards to your query, for me, the most convenient way to go to this hotel from Narita Airport is by taking the low cost bus. I have two videos on low cost buses if you are interested. This is the link for the Narita Airport - Ginza route.

The hotel is an easy 12-min walk from the Airport Shuttle Bus Stop in Ginza. The only limitation of low cost buses is that it only allows 1 luggage per person to be stored under the bus. In this case, you can consider taking the train. The Keisei Line/Toei Subway-Asakusa Line from Narita Airport to Higashi-Ginza station is your best bet. The hotel is a 5-min walk from Higashi-Ginza station.
I hope I was able to answer your query and help you in my own small way. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more useful travel videos. Thanks again! Enjoy your trip! 😊
