I feel like nobody talks about the massive different delays in every game mode. Somebody can speak up and make this change. Park is bearable all the enclosed online game modes should feel better than that

This is true, 2k25 is my first 2k experience. Imma be honest, I was shooting 24% from 3 with square. Now I’m shooting 42% in only 3 days of practice with tempo. I also only have a 76 3 point shot. 👏🏼
If you’re taking primarily stand still, catch and shoot shots, I’m happy for you…. But theres still a large portion of the community who creates their own shot using the right stick to dribble… and get open, thus creating their own shot… for them, the transition to rhythm shooting is just not that easy nor desirable.
Every year I install both versions, so I can load up old gen every day just for the daily spin. Most times it's clothing or boosts, but when it's VC I can spend that on the proper 2K. I've spun up 5K VC twice this year already on old gen, I love that it carries over to current gen.

I saw a 'Diverse Phenom' build today, it actually looked pretty good. High dunk and layup, like 85 and 90, an 87 3 ball, high dribble and passing all 85+, I think perimeter and steals were 85 and good physicals. Rebounds weren't touched, it looked like a fun build. I think it only had like 40 mid too
All they gotta do is fix the Ed Reed lane steals jumping 10 feet backwards for a damn steal. And make dribbling smoother. The rest of the game is fine (outside of the garbage servers)
You literally have to have post defence builds as a center, else your screwed because post scoring is braindead and there is no strategy except having a perfect build to stop them...
Anyone really familiar with matchmaking, League of legends for example. A diamond vs gold tier or lower is literally like an adult playing a toddler. You will be smacked back into your mother's womb. That is in any game. Skill based matchmaking will 100% make you better and anyone in the top 10% of players crying about it don't understand that 2k doesn't want them to be able to play with their eyes closed. Lock in or lose.

The problem w sbmm is I can't get better. I gotta do the same shit every game otherwise I sell my team because I'm going against the 2017 warriors every game. I go into my court and try to work on stuff; I try to do it in game and with the latency it's totally different. Game is a generic battle of dribble point 2 or 3 lockdowns and 1 or 2 7ft. Every game. Boring.

Don’t complain about the game. Everyone wanted to “boycott” the game and they didn’t showed a gameplay, they showed some trailers and people went crazy like every year. I’ll say this once and only once. SBMM should be in ANY mode that you “matchmake” into. So rec, theater, proving grounds, pro am. In all of those modes, to play a game you hit a button and “MATCHMAKE” into a game. The only mode where SBMM should be turned off is PARK. Park should be completely random, and it should be the only mode without SBMM.

Skill based matchmaking is really broken in a couple ways. I am pro level and when I solo queued in rec I had to wait 10 minutes to find a team in my rank as well as the game determining who is the opposing team is going to be, but when the wait time was up we were matched up against all casual 70 overall players and just won with ease.
Ngl that activision graph was so misleading 😂. Literally it was a less than 2% difference between the highest and lowest skill bracket, and it doesn’t take into account all the higher tier players who quit as a whole and wasn’t involved in the testing at all
This CoD statistic is complet obsolet. If u read it correctly it only effects a margin of 1,75% at the highest peak . This means 98,25% of those players were not effected at all by those changes! Wich means there is no notable effect!
Just make a casual mode only for black or brown plates lol, if your gold on atleast 1 of your builds, your disqualifed, and if you rank DOWN from gold if u played 10 or more games as it you cant join either

Last year the homie would miss some but green a lot similar to a good shooter but if it was against a good big he would get contested
I haven't played p5 yet waiting tell Oct but close shot was nerf for 2 years most of my bigs have a 93 and up and can say 22 close shot was way more op then 23,24 I hope they keep some aspects of the close shot
Interior defense is so ass RN. All layups, close shots, just go in all the time even if you hands up guard. Not to mention dunks just always go in except in really rare scenarios even if it's a guard dunking on a center.
I ran into something like this, where the driving layup animation was unguardable. I was 6’10” and the smaller dude was able to put me in an animation and score every single time.
To get the 100k vc u have to see the green gift box twice back to back on the screen it should be a blue box in the middle of you get that animation it’s gonna be double rep for 2 hours or 100k vc everytime
The steals are op and its not fixable because they gave everyone steal and to patch it you'd hurt the actual locks. For a pass first Pg its like they want you to play selfish
Badge that test cod put out was misleading and was fully transparent. Also look at the percents on the actually chart. The biggest decrease in retention was like less than 2 percent. They worded it as if it were a big difference but in reality less than 3 percent of players left more lol it's bullshit.

I see no shade towards these small guard builds if anything needs to be patched its for you all small guards tbh cuz way too many 5'9 & 6'4 frwds
