The issue is comps player play the comp way regardless. Casuals don’t wanna deal with that at all. It’s not like when sweats play casuals. They tone down the cheese and play accordingly

My friend has hall of fame defensive badges getting post up by players with lower strength and post control.sbmm is so bad and do not use the i don’t want to play comp which is so stupid I have a 70+ win percentage it’s tiring playing the same meta every game it’s boring but most yall wouldn’t know because you guys don’t play comp and don’t understand how cheesy and annoying it gets going against every game for hours. Also rebounds,dunk meter and steals need a patch

I´ll tell why people don't like to shoot 55%. The game with skill based mm just is competitive all the time, and I agree with choc, theatre should not be sbmm, and if you are playing competitive all the time shooting 55% and fail to win some toe to toe games will make you angry, and some people are just not into that, and they refund the game. Casuals can be shooting 55% and still have fun, but with all the modes being extremely sweaty, the game just don´t make sense to those persons. Shooting is in a good spot just need to fix the latency on rhythm, to me is just take out sbmm from theatre and park wtv, fix the latency and server bugs, and for the love of god fix the fact that agility is not perimeter defense, everyone with high agility can defend like 99 perimeter but actually have 25, oh and the contest needs a little rework too.
Ngl this is my first 2k and let me say… I BE GETTING COOKED, very rarely do I go against some who’s lower overall than me(I’m 91) and who has less ppg, now I’m not ass but I’m still getting used to all the moves and animations but I do run with my vet squad who are 2k demi gods but even when I play solo no squad 3v3 I don’t see sbmm working properly
I just played after giving it about a week of a break… Passive dribbling isn’t on but like an animation that plays out when you stop moving or dribbling you randomly switch ball hand its annoying.
I don't understand why they can't fix match times. If you are high rank, just queue them with the next highest rank waiting, even if they are far apart in skill. The larger the disparity in skill, the more the lower player will be rewarded if they win and less for the higher rank.
Simplicity is what makes 2k good because if you look at the best 2ks it was just rec,pro am, and ante up. When I mean best I mean gameplay wise but we had all the simple things to just get games. Adding proving grounds theatre all this other junk ruined the game

As far as sbmm all they have to do is make it a little bit easier to make it to red plate and there will be more red plates and you wont have to get rid of sbmm everybody wins

I played solo rec a lot today on my new build that was bronze banner and was consistently getting teamed with everyone from black to gold banners.
I love everything about the game except for all the sliding and falling your guy do when somebody doing dribble moves
