You should report this incident to Gujrat vigilance commission. Directly call them or file a written complaint on their portal. So that strict action can be taken against those policemen and such type of harrassment can be stopped.

Additionally, good that you took Ahmedabad Vadodara highway. I took Modasa highway. Lag gayee thi apni.. with tyre cut in a big pothole !!! So, it was blessing in disguise to pick the Ahmedabad road.

Not only police every department use only gujarati written documents it doesn't matter whether you understand or not. They also use gujarati language atleast aap logon se Hindi mei bol to liye. Inke sath Hindi mei bolo to aisa feel krwate hain jaise Hindi foreign language hai. Well drive safe and again welcome to dry state.

Exactly Same thing happened with me on Ahmedabad ring road at night 2 am. I was recording the video, they tried to snatched my phone too. They just want money from us. And also called pcr van for taking me to the nearest police station. After 1hr of such harassment they left us .

You should mention all of this in the tweet. When I read your tweet and watched the short snaps, it felt like you exaggerated a small checking. But now after watching video, i understood they deleted all your videos and mistreated just because you were from different state. Any sort of discrimination should not be tolerated. Be it race, religion, caste, language, sex. Here policemen showed bad treatment towards people from other state and language.

Incidents such as this definitely put a dent on entire state. A state which has a lot in tourism badly needs to remove such unruly and adamant police personnel from the system. Not just you but many travelers faced this issue, so am sure this is not a one time thing and is regularly faced by all.

भाई मे भी गुजरात हू। मेरे साथ भी एसा हुआ है।मै और मेरा परिवार घुमने गये थे।तो हम ने जेसे ही GJ 18 को छोड़ कर हम ने GJ 07 प्रवेश किया तो गुजरात पुलिस वाले आए और वे लोग हमारी कार कि डिक्की चेक कर रहे थे और तब ही और एक पुलिस वाला आया उनहोंने कहा कि कार का बोनेट खोलो फिर मेने बोनेट खोला और तब ही जो पुलिस वाला डिक्की चेक कर रहा था उसने दारू की बोतल डिक्की में रख दि और वह दोनों पुलिस वाले हम पर ईनजाम लगा रहे थे कि सराबी है। पर हम लोग मेसे कोई भी सराब नहीं पीता था।फिर हमने सामने वाली दुकान के CCTV चेक किया हम ने देखा कि डिक्की में पुलिस वाले खुद ही सराब कि बोतल रख रहे थे और हम ने दुसरे पुलिस डिपार्टमेन्ट में कोल किया और पुलिस वाले वह दोनों पुलिस वालो को लेकर चले गये।

@@Ashish_Champ Well, I've recently faced a situation regarding that, He was way too abusive even though I talked to him in a respectful manner, but as my father arrived his tone changed and he was like beta..beta..are beta...vrna usse pehle sun nahi Raha tha meri 1% bhi, maybe because I was in a school dress and I'm just of 17 years of age., But yeah mere experience ke hisaab se maine unse bahut respect se baat ki thi, sab sach bola tha phir bhi, vaise uske baare mein maine kaafi kisse sune hain ki vo Banda hi kharab hai, rudhivaadi soch hai uski, vo kehte hain na, apne upar ki jo generation hai vo bahut bevkoof hai, vaise hi vo bhi tha buddha sa.
