UK 81yrs: RUclips gives me a new one from you every day which is great 😅 my usual feedback is I appreciate breathing prompts and countdown. I havent found weights but my grip is unreliable so maybe best do without. My manual wheelchair is challenging on shoulders. More shoulder exercise would be good. ❤
I'm working on creating a resistance band workout from a chair so my hope is that this workout will suit you better than using weights. I have links on my website for bands that you could purchase if you want recommended ones.
This is helping so much. I haven’t exercised in years and find I need something. Bad knees - arthritis you name it but this is super helpful. I can’t wait until I’m strong enough to use weights. Again thank you.

I've exercised for years, but at the moment, I'm having knee problems ( well, I am 83). Anyhow, these gentle workouts give me a good way to keep up my strength without causing further problems.

I think I meant that I actually work in mental health (with people with anxiety and depression) outside of creating videos. Any exercise, especially those that raise your heart rate a little, will benefit mental health.

I think I might be using a 2 or 3 lb weight in this video although if I were to do it at home, I would use more. When you are doing the exercise, find a weight that is somewhat challenging by the time you get to the end of the repetitions. You'll benefit more if you use a heavier weight, while still ensuring your form & technique is correct. I hope that helps.

I'M almost 70 and haven't been active for over 20 yrs..it's not easy getting back into it ..iv already gone through the stages of anger sadness denial all that ..and now in acceptance..and ready to get after it ..so thank you for YOU 🤗💕🌷
@@audreykile I'm so happy to hear you could manage the class and CONGRATULATIONS for getting back into exercise! No matter what age we are, we can always start up exercise again and still get incredible benefits from it (physically, mentally, and emotionally). I think if you continue to move each day, you'll notice a big difference in your mental health as well (research says so!). Each day just find a class that works with your energy level and mood...starting is the hard part but after a few minutes of exercising, it gets easier. If you look at the playlists under my channel, you will be able to find the classes that suit your level the best. There are 'true beginner' classes and 'beginner' classes that will both likely work for you. Let me know how it goes as you try some of the other classes. I'd love to hear about your progress.

I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate). For the gentle walks, my pace is designed to be slower and created to be easier for those who need them to be at that pace. Thankfully, there are tons of channels out there for you to choose from.

I did it!! I actually did the whole thing! I graduated from the 10 minute class. Might not be much to some, but it's a major milestone for me.
10 minutes up to 30 minutes is amazing progress! You absolutely deserve to feel proud of that. Congrats for challenging yourself to a longer workout!💪

What is the weight of your weights?
I think I might be using a 2 or 3 lb weight in this video although if I were to do it at home, I would use more. When you are doing the exercise, find a weight that is somewhat challenging by the time you get to the end of the repetitions. You'll benefit more if you use a heavier weight, while still ensuring your form & technique is correct. I hope that helps.

There is a seated core workout under intermediate chair exercises as well as a standing ab workout under beginner standing exercises in the playlists.
Hi there ..just sub'd your CHNL..finally one I can do ..other tubers say easy workouts for seniors..start ok but then get all wild n crazy with stuff I can't do .. I'M almost 70 and haven't been active for over 20 yrs..it's not easy getting back into it ..iv already gone through the stages of anger sadness denial all that ..and now in acceptance..and ready to get after it ..so thank you for YOU 🤗💕🌷
@@audreykile I'm so happy to hear you could manage the class and CONGRATULATIONS for getting back into exercise! No matter what age we are, we can always start up exercise again and still get incredible benefits from it (physically, mentally, and emotionally). I think if you continue to move each day, you'll notice a big difference in your mental health as well (research says so!). Each day just find a class that works with your energy level and mood...starting is the hard part but after a few minutes of exercising, it gets easier. If you look at the playlists under my channel, you will be able to find the classes that suit your level the best. There are 'true beginner' classes and 'beginner' classes that will both likely work for you. Let me know how it goes as you try some of the other classes. I'd love to hear about your progress.

Your walks are boring
I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate). For the gentle walks, my pace is designed to be slower and created to be easier for those who need them to be at that pace. Thankfully, there are tons of channels out there for you to choose from.
