Building & Riding Berm Peak's Newest Trail - Rhodorooter!
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 6 сен 2024
- Among many unfinished home improvement projects on Berm Peak, we started digging yet another new trail... now we're in over our heads! Rhodorooter is steep, twisty, fast, and way too much fun. Once we start benching and building features, I think this may end up being the best trail on Berm Peak.
Thanks to all who helped out with this build. Sean, you basically built that whole clearing. Kevin, that jump will send someday. Paul, I'm glad you ended up getting down South to ride with us! Heather, Bayley, and Elliot, thanks for stopping by!

You should add an out house with a jump over it and call it the crap gap.
Or dump jump
The thumbnail would be Seth in the outhouse and have Kevin full sending it over said crap gap/ dump jump.
he should do the bathroom thing from Shrek
I like that one a lot.
@@toastboy1551 yes, an outhouse
You need to turn some of those fallen trees into big North Shore log rides.
Most of the wood near his house is not suitable for that, as it is not rot resistant. He mentioned this in a previous video
Hudson Board yet he has used it to make one
Ladies and gentlemen he did it
aka snake pit
Hudson Board I'm glad you told him that so I didn't have to
You know Phil is watching this and thinking that gap looks totally doable 😂
Phil could do it for sure! It's basically a right-transfer left hip, but it's much harder to pull right than it looks in the video. If we bermed it out all the way to the lip, it would be a lot easier. The landing needs to be much bigger too, and the turn after the jump needs some support as well.
@@SethsBikeHacks I'm sure you'll work it out 😁
Phil would be like it's too small lets make it bigger 😀
Ahaha, it looks pretty janky from my perspective. Gotta hand to Kevin for getting pretty damn close.
@@SethsBikeHacks You should add an out house with a jump over it and call it the crap gap.
I bought a new saw, "But, I'm going to be careful this time."
I've been following this channel for a while, and for some strange reason I don't believe you...
When will we see the results of the baby oil brakes?
One year from the video, that's this coming month
@@SethsBikeHacks are you gonna ride the fat bike this winter ?
Noice
The video comes out on my birthday I’m hype
Seth's Bike Hacks Not sure if you’re planning on doing this, but you should do a trail that starts in the yard but is linked onto a trail that starts at the flight deck. That way you can ride it normally using the flight frack trail, but also link to it through airbag
Next episode: installing a ski life on my backyard MTb trail
Lol
Bike lift
I just imagine Seth in his little voice record box 😂
He does he made a video of him building it
hahahaha i was thinking the same.
Same!
@@tylermtb3162 in which video he did track markers ??
2 things I'm excited every week
1. A new chapter of the mandalorian
2. A new episode of berm peak
Seth "You just watch. This time will be different."
Morgan Freeman: "But this time would not be different."
This make me spit out my water😂😂😂
Russell Bynum I heard this comment 😂
Seth, My mountain bike got stolen today when I was at school. I came home and watched your video and it cheered me up thanks.
Mine was stolen recently too. I feel your pain.
hope you get your bikes back.

It's nice to know that if Seth ever runs out of biking ideas he can shoot nature documentaries! I loved the beginning of this one
Hey Seth, As someone who uses cordless tools on the daily, they all have what's called a "duty cycle". Basically it's a percentage of how much cool down time it needs vs use time. They're all air cooled too, so heat is the biggest problem, you need to let the motor "rev" higher. As the weather cools off you'll be able to run it a little harder, but if you have a ton of work lined up for it, I'd suggest just getting a second one to switch out when one starts getting hot.
Love the videos, keep it up!
Yep! That's the biggest difference between consumer tools and professional tools. As far as I can see they don't write the actual duty cycle anywhere on the label. Also, those motors are designed to cool at a certain rate of speed, so if you continually run them on low battery it can cause overheating.
AvE doesn't call it Cryobi without good reason. 😂
@@SethsBikeHacks Cryobi is pretty much not even consumer grade. Get yourself a Milwaukee and you'll be much happier.
I love that at the beginning, he only showed wipeouts
Wow, Seth you have really stepped up your game with this video. The quality of the production is astounding. Especially at the beginning. This is a very professional looking documentary. And it's good to see the progress of Berm Peak (speaking as a proud owner of an official Berm Peak t-shirt!).
Stay upright and keep the rubber side down.

Yeah I thought the same thing! :)
what an epic series dude!
Yo!! I didnt know u were interested in biking as well👀
Watching this while wearing my berm peak hoodie!!😀
Thanks for rocking my merch!
Thank you so much for helping me chose gear and a bike and just helping me along my journy👍
Also the sweatshirt is soooo comfortable I wear it when ever I can it’s my favorite hoodie
Wish I could get one :/
I’m acc wearing mine aswell
there is a reason why certain bumbleforking uncle is calling "ryobi" a "cryobi"
Dont forget ya safety squints tho.
I wonder how many of us watch seth and uncle bumblefuck.
Who else watched this whole video and then realized that he had to crawl under his desk and into Narnia to record this voice over?😂
Now this is what i call PROGRESSING THR CULTURE!!! How many people are this enthusiastic about trail riding they make their own...great video and keep inspiring the community
just take the landing of the Kevin jump and carve it to small stepdown
Im so glad you got a gator I have one and it makes a big difference for trail building and they are extremely fun to Drive. AND RIP sawzal
According to the guy at my local hardware store the ryobi brand has a defective unit in every 200 so
5 in 1000 tools are faulty out of the box so you probably got the defective one. Keep up the brilliant work you do
The Enduro Barrow is probably kinda jealous at the Gitt’r
Seth: "And you just watch, this time will be different!"

It's no but November you pickle!

You have inspired me to build my own track in my backyard sort of thing. Thank you!
Anyone notice a cheeky PaulThePunter in the background?

Seth's Bike Hacks awesome!
Sounds like next week is going to be a good video!! Yay
ie. the most un-deserving sponsored rider of all time...
Appears at 8:20 for those trying to find Waldo....errr...Paul.🤘🏻🤘🏻
My 13 year old son and I have enjoyed watching the Berm Peak Trail building. He's really starting to get into riding with me and we've been blazing some singletrack in the woods next to our house. His buddies all watch your videos and it's a glorious sight to see them in the woods building trails instead of blasting each other on Fortnite. I'm sure he'll tell me you uploaded a new video when he gets home from school today. Keep up the good work!!!
What a gorgeous piece of land, Drama is living his best life!!
I've always wondered how miles and miles of mountain trails are created. It appears building trails is just as grueling as I thought.
After watching this video, I appreciate the hard work SO MUCH MORE.
Next trail building party I hear of
...I'M IN!!!
I was just saying I can’t wait for one of Seth’s videos.
Me too
Usually comes out on Fridays
Yes bro like every time he uploads i watch the vid as fast as i can and then i cant weight to see the next one
Kevin Ellery Ik but I watch them so fast, it feels like an eternity till the next
@@camdenboyd1923 lmaoo your name is Boyd just like Mike Boyd
Trail system is coming together nicely. I really like the signs and the custom logos you did on the gator. You take a lot of pride in your work, and it shows!
Was about to get ready for school and then this popped up
My school just got snow delayed
I was getting ready for work when it popped up!
It's mental to think how far Seth has come, from riding the skatepark on his 26 inch trek hardtail in baggy jeans and a road bike helmet to shredding his own backyard trails in all the gear riding a top end bike
Who else is loving brem peak?
Been here since brem creek
Seth you need to do a fat bike series during the winter with snow on the the whole berm peak
Omg I wish this videos were a lot longer. This felt like 5 minutes
I’m sad that snow has taken out my ability to ride up in Vermont, so I’ll be eagerly watching you build these trails to keep my addiction to biking satisfied
Can't explain how much i've been waiting for this! love this "serie"
I never think about this series when I'm not watching it which is great because I don't just sit around waiting for vids to come out. But when I see the next vid in my recommended it's like a present and I like it :D Keep up the good work.
Dang dude, this is just not the perfect home but is the perfect life doing what you love doing
I have a few down hill trails in my woods, it takes about 50 seconds on a good run and 60 seconds on a bad run. The trails are sketchy and really step and has sharp terns. Me and my friends will keep improving the trails and adding on. The trails are fun!
This is like an actual TV show now and I love it
First of all, using a machete case as a flag holder is 100% a good hack. Second, even though I have a lot of respect for Seth's privacy id still kill to ride here. It just looks like such a fun and chill place to ride and meet cool people. Very cool trails Seth, keep it coming.
I started crying laughing when you introduced the “Getter” 😅😂🤣
RC Nation it’s gitter
Love every video from you seth....the quality, the editing, the riding, the hacks, just everything is awesome. Really cool to see the trails being made from start to finish and one hell of a piece of property to have the opportunity to build and ride. Awesome work. Keep it up.
You’re living huge dreams man!
I don't even mountain bike, I just enjoy watching you build stuff in the woods.
Oh my God, I never realized how big Drama was! He's a big boi for a Frenchy
this is my third year anniversary watching your channel!!
Haven't been this early before. It's gonna be a good day
At 5:23 it’s kinda ironic when he said that the tree saw ruined his week. Just look at the brand of it though, now it’s gonna ruin our year
10 minutes once a week ain’t doing it Chief. We need more
I'd settle for just better content where he doesn't talk like he's 10 years old
Jay Last whoa u new here? what if his audience is a wide spectrum and some are younger than 10 just getting into biking. if that were me living in a flat concrete jungle, i would be astounded by what his guy is doing in his own backyard. jus a thought
@@jaylast1958 What do you mean? Sounds like an adult narrating a video.
Oh, you think it’s easy. Got something to prove?
For your little saw that broke you should put in a brushless motor instead-of the one that was in it befor. They are really good. I did it in mine and it was 100% better.
You really need to invest in a Milwaukee Super Sawzall before you go through another 10 of those ryobi ones
I wish you luck on getting 2 million subs. You are the best and made me start biking myself.
"I'm gonna be careful this time. [...] This time will be different." Anyone who knows Seth knows that's not true
Seth - you are absolutely crazy. I think we all love you for that! Happy building (stay healthy!) and greets from germany!
That’s why you should use dewalt saws and drill instead of ryobi
XD dewalt is better but still sucks compared to milwaukee or hilty
Your telling me Milwaukee and hilty are better then dewalt, have you ever used a dewalt drill or saw
It‘s called hilti.
Thanks fella
Dewalt is the best you can get
These video tutorials - how to make yourself happy. Thank you and greetings from Russia))
How does he think of these names like “rhodorooter”
Jack 33 it’s a JoJo reference
JacobG130 Productions it’s not lol it’s a reference to the plants rhododendron which he mentioned is the plant taking up most of the trail
Superb! Can't wait to see more
I’m trying to build trails in my yard my parents aren’t happy 😂
When that canopy grows over that's gonna look so sweet!
For the Kevin jump i suggest you just tear down the landing and just have that gap like a small drop
Keep it up. I have built trails in my yard from your inspiration!
Wow, I was just thinking about seths bike hacks and then he uploads!
Supercars ohf300 no he didn’t, Seth’s bike hacks uploaded though.
Seth's Bike Tracks
TheBloodMango oh shit
@Seth’s Bike Hacks Literally just got home from a 20km bikeride and this the first thing I do
Still hot and sweaty
I think soon you'll be getting a bobcat to just plow throw
Wow, just wow.
I'm getting my new hardtail tomorrow
As soon as he showed of the "Gitter", all that I could think was a vision of a double wide racetrack with jumps somewhere on the property for it to prove it's might....
Pro tip: Never leave Kevin alone with tools. :P
That is a really cool jump, I hope a landing gets worked out. The way Kevin put it between the two fallen trees makes it look almost natural, in my opinion!
Where do you get the stickers for you trail signs ?
Seth's bike hacks you have the best videos in the world I love the trail making videos qualities awesome 😁❤

Not perhaps, but indeed first
Kind of inspiring. My great uncle has 500 acres of woods ravines and bluffs about 40 minutes from me (Bentonville) that could probably develop some ridiculous trails. So many public trail option here though that I'm not sure it would be worth it.
