I bought my EW3280U as a refurbished for $399...works/looks great!
How is 60fps gameplay? Smooth enough?
@eastern2687 Sorry, but I do NO gaming on the BenQ...just photo-and-video-editing...but given the Apple Mac Studio's (1TB SSD) horsepower, should be no problem with frame-drops.
I prefer a smaller monitor if i'm sitting right on top of it. Looks cool though.
By right on top of it, what distance are you referring to? Would 32" be too large for sitting about 2 feet away, in your opinion?
I am using a BenQ 27 inch 1080p 60hrz monitor still is pretty good. I don't think I would be able to upgrade to 4k anytime soon too expensive and would need to upgrade my graphics card lol.
They do a 27 inch version of this without the woofer and remote but I think it's exactly the same otherwise?

Thanks for the very thorough review. I noticed most people. While doing a review they mention the response time rating... Do you happen to know the input lag rating?
It's 5ms response time. I thought I mentioned in video. Thanks for watching
@@Marcthegeek You did mention the response time, but I'm talking about the input lag. Those are two different things. Response time refers to the speed the monitor can change gray to Gray.. input lag Is the time it takes what you do on your controller, type, etc to show up on the screen..
@@Marcthegeek I'm noticing very few companies mention the input lag rating because they still haven't solved the problem Yet. Years ago they mentioned anywhere between a CRT's -1ms and the now norm 8.8 milliseconds, it's hard for humans to tell the difference... Maybe that's true for the average gamer. Hardcore and professional Gamers, especially with FPS's and fighting games you can tell. Maybe within the next few gens Of new monitors and TVs may have faster input lag ratings. I'm getting to the point where I'm not even expecting the company to list it now. SMH they're quick to mention good response times though.
@@franklinmurphy5445 try the website rtings. They always test monitors for input lag so if they reviewed this you can find what the input lag is there
@@Marcthegeek response time and input lag aren't the same thing. Input lag is extremely important to gaming. It's how fast the game and display react to your inputs. It's why google stadia, remote play, game streaming, etc. All feel like crap. It's also why a tv has game mode. Every display has a different amount of display lag

The ew3270U is great the only thing missing from the Ew3280U is the great speaker and subwoofer and an extra HDMI. But it's $300 less. If I wanted to save the extra $ I would get the ew3270u.

I do not really see the appeal of this for 4K 60HZ with HDR at $800 dollars i think you could find a better deal. Speakers sound great however I use bose speakers that I have had for a long time.

Beware of 60hz.....if possible opt for a higher refresh rate monitor.
I was watching till 11:19. Then I saw what supposed to be black vertical bars on the screen. They are grey. So you have all colours... but black. An absolute deal breaker for me.
