It's good to know about using distilled water instead of tap water I just got my first reborn dispatch Friday so I'm completely new to reborn babies, I have two other dolls that I've just used tap water on but I think I'm gonna start with distilled water on the Three of them
Yeah even if you don't use distilled & just use bottled water it's better then tap. I live in NY so we have "hard water". Over time minerals & calcium will build up in our facets & one some days you can actually smell the chlorine in our water. I thought about that & decided I didn't want that in my dolls hair or on their paint. Sometimes if I don't have distilled water on hand I'll use bottled , but bottled water Sometimes has added minerals which is good for our bodies, but not nessisarily for our dolls hair lol Congratulations on your first reborn baby! 🎉🎉🎉 Ps. You can also boil tap water that's another way to purify it

Thank you so much Heather! Oh that's to funny I do that too where a name will just be totally stuck in my head even though it's not the babys name I just can't get it out! I don't just do it with dolls I do it with ppl! Lol
I wouldn't recommend using baby oil because alot of mohairs are dyed to get the different colors & I think that baby oil might be more prone to making the dye bleed. I would stick with mild hair products that are meant for hair. Noodle & Boo leave in hair conditioner has been a great one that I've found that works on all types of Mohair & human hair too. I don't think I had that product when I made this video, but that's the best one I have found yet 💞
