I played this at a wind band event in my area and never before had a piece made me cry.
First time I heard this song was at an annual band festival that is held in my area. This song instantly brought tears to my eyes. Every now and then I come back to this video to truly appreciate the beauty of this song.
My daughter played in a local honor band and this song was played. I was actually embarrassed because it was so beautiful teared up. Soooo beautiful
This is very simple, but lovely.
Utterly sublime.
This piece is a heartbreakingly gorgeous one. Thank you for sharing this beautiful performance.
Peaceful and solemn this rendition is by this wind group, just lovely!!
The Oboe is amazing in this piece.
👏👏👏👏
A song that most people in my band don't appreciate. They don't have a harp, but still...
Warm summer sun
Shine kindly here
Warm summer wind
blow softly here
Green sod above
lie light, lie light-
Good night dear heart,
Good night, good night.

Sang this song for a competition at BJU. Unfortunately we weren't good enough to do it a capella but it was still beautiful.
The wind is from the South. It's southern. Warm Southern wind.
@@what_2046 You can also tell my memory wasn't very good.
