When it says 20g of sugar, and 20 added, that just means that 20g of the total sugar is added sugar. So no natural sugars are present. You don't add the numbers up. So there is 20g of sugar total not 40. 😁
Hi Grandpa. Glad to see you got your hands on some Royal Crown Cola. That’s my favorite. Sadly it’s become hard to find and nearly obsolete in the upper midwest. Looks great straight from the bottle.
I appreciate you sharing your experiences. You are a wealth of knowledge and a very important perspective. We all need to remember where we came from, and appreciate the struggles in the past, that have made the present more tolerable. Thank you for all your years and words.
My grandfather used to always tell me stories of his days working at the Coca-Cola factory back in the 1950’s. It was his favorite place to work and favorite soda to buy with everything. Many people don’t know, Coca-Cola was first made using real “coca leaves” (from which *cocaine* is extracted) but was later changed to a cocaine-free beverage in 1929. -RIP Granddad Henry❣️🕊️ You taught me a lot of history, both terrifying and entertaining
@@drafman1 Yes of course lol. I was in fact referring to “many people” in this generation specifically. Majority who were born in the 1900’s (or the 90’s like myself) already know. Contrarily, this younger generation (born between 2000-2020’s) seem to always think everything is just a conspiracy or a lie. So sad how incredulous this generation’s become.💔
Just stumbled across your channel, this video was in my recommended and I am so happy it was! Absolutely love your channel and look forward to all the videos you post!
Made me think of that great family guy scene in the desert when they see a Dr Pepper machine and run up to it and say damn it. It was a mirage. An RC cola machine… hah
RC Cola is that one sweet treat I love getting sometimes. It's at the local grocery store here in town, but its so pricy!! I wish they had cans of it in a soda machine around here for $0.75 cents
I drank rc cola and cherry rc cola growing up in the Chicago area. Nowadays I drink lots of water. Occasionally I'll treat myself with an ice cold dr Pepper
Great video, I reversed my diabetes to a normal 5.3 A1C by drinking zero sugar soda. I like the taste as much as the sugar sodas now that they improved them so much since the old diet sodas of years ago.
It tastes similar to Vanilla Coke. It's not something I'd drink regularly but it's nice to experience a different flavor every now and then. I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars which means it's good but not great.
Now since I'm from east Tennessee I've eaten a bunch of moonpies ngl not a fan cause the marshmellos texture just feels fake when you eat it and it has an acquired taste to me. For RC cola I've never tried it, tried dr pep coke and all that but never RC cola. Maybe I should.
I laughed when you threw the paper bag 😂
This video randomly came across my recommended, and I’m really glad it did!
i am too
Trippe: I just love this cute bag....
*Throws it across the room*
😳 😂😂
RC cola was grandpa's favorite cola. ❤

Be healthy and peace out.... Subscribed... I really liked the story of your days on the tobacco farm.

yes that is true about the cocoa leaves
I think many people do know that man. It's an extremely well known fun fact about Coca cola :) maybe it wasnt well known 20 years ago though

i used to drink lots of water but have been under water restriction last few years because of high potassium
Great video grandpa !
Travis bickle gets that when he’s at the tug theater

yes those old diet drink were dishwater i am trying to accept zero sugar coke and my aic is much better doctor is proud of me
Great video once again, Trippe. But where did your other channel go to? :(
I released a vid telling everyone i was deleting it. Maybe you weren't notified?!?! I explained why in the vid.
I lost both of my grandpa’s to smoking before I was born, you help with this. :)
nice! I haven't even seen RC cola in ages
Looks like it's time for the yearly Cola and moon pie!
yeah once a year haha what a way to live, huh!
I like rc cola cause it tastes like a halfway point between coca cola and pepsi cola. Like someone mixed 'em together or something.
Have you tried Oreo flavored Coke? I like it! It is suprisingly good in my opinion.
never even heard of it
@@CHATTYGRANDPA Same, it must be new. The flavor itself doesn't seem that appealing, but who knows, maybe it's good after all.

Not going to lie RC Cola taste better than Coca-Cola. I always preferred RC Cola and I'm young.
Naaahhhhhhhhh. RC cola just a pepsi clone
As far as I can tell, the current US CocaCola Original taste has 39g of sugar in a 12oz bottle and the RC Cola has 43g in a 12oz bottle
yes something like that
Now since I'm from east Tennessee I've eaten a bunch of moonpies ngl not a fan cause the marshmellos texture just feels fake when you eat it and it has an acquired taste to me. For RC cola I've never tried it, tried dr pep coke and all that but never RC cola. Maybe I should.
You should! And yeah, Moon Pies aren't that high quality, but I feel like its also the nostalgia for some.
First
It’s hugely wasteful of resources to pour it out
cola is a resource?
Man wait till you see what other people do🤯 go comment that on people with private jets and stuff, seriously.
Hey man. Drink mineral water.
