Japanese Voice: kinda reminds of Morgana from Persona or a Kid with curiosity.
English voice: has a Boyish girl voice reminiscent of a cartoon bully.

Only a true book worm would ever know just how heavy some of those fancy hard backed volumes are and have an awareness that this makes them perfect bludgeoning weapons in an emergency. Marcille is a true scholar.
As a nerd who had to fight off troublemakers in highschool with a 3kg hardcover textbook, I can testify that it works very well as a blunt weapon AND deterrent (after said fight).

When I read through the comic I imagined Izutsumi’s voice being kinda of raspy. But I’m very happy with her English voice. It’s got that tomboyish vibe I was hoping for, and as someone else said “reminiscent of a cartoon bully”

But seriously though, the English dub is ridiculously good. You can really see it in this episode. Izutsumi's voice is perfect, and the entire nightmare portion was very well voice acted.

There's a comic to explain this. Maizuru (the caster) actually used a similar spell on Shuro growing up (granted the one casted on Itzumi was altered somewhat) the curse is made so if Maizuru ever lost sight of her charge, then the hag would appear to scare and chase them back to her. She apparently called it the Ninja Art of Babysitter...

Her design looks terrible. Its like the artist wanted her to have a body covered in black fur but corpos forced him to make her a generic anime catgirl and now she looks like shes covered in spikey warts and skin tags.
Cat girls are one of the worst things to come out of anime. They're the epitome of laziness and shallowness for board appeal.
