Well done. I rode across Arkansas and almost every day was chased/ambushed by very large dogs. Life flashing before my eyes. I thought that the lack of a road shoulder or giant trucks would be the problem. If you want to take a break, you have earned it. Stay strong.

You would have regretted it if you didn't, after all you are not doing it all again just for the sake of nine miles. And if you want to see a perfect example of overcoming the odds and using the power of mental strength than look no further than you and Kyle.
I reckon you front loaded that ride pretty heavy with those monster rides around the Alps. Newnham Hill going into Daventry wouldn't trouble you if you weren't frazzled from monster mountainous rides and loss of sleep. Kyle's tyre must have been pretty worn at the start if it got that bad after 2000km, no wonder he was getting so many punctures!😂 Glad Kyle is there to keep you on track. He has the right idea. Aim high. He did and he ended up with you, so I reckon it would work well for you as well.
