    in English the silent E change the sound of the words, in Portuguese language and I think also in Spanish language the accent marks has the same function, por exemple the words: sabia, sábia and sabiá, they are differents words with differents meanings because accent marks.

    • @VictorHernandez-yw4xq

      Yes in Spanish we have accent too. Even though isn't exist sabia with accent at the first "as"

    • @willianrom
      @willianrom 2 года назад

      @@VictorHernandez-yw4xq Nice, in Brazillian Portuguese, sabia (without accent mark) is "to know" in past simple, exemple: Eu sabia (I knew), sábia (accent mark on the first 'a') is a wise woman and sabiá (accent mark on the last 'a') is a kind of bird, I googled in English it's thrush bird.
