The look on Dany's face when she says "I have no mercy and I never will..." she embodies the lyrics and the character she sings about. Then you see her in the wild and she's a happy goofball. Love those girls, they are a treasure. And they kick ass.

That's what I love!!! No matter WHAT she sings.... She puts her entire heart and personality into it to really make you believe it!!!

This song is a masterpiece IMO, one of my favorites from them. Crazy to think they were at most 17, 15 and 12 when they wrote it!

It is amazing! Isn't that crazy to think??? 😱😱😱

This is the title song of their second album, which is a concept album, with a continuous story, consisting of an epilogue song Dust To Dust and 4 chapters of 3 songs. So for there songs to get the full context, one needs to listen to them in the album order. The Lunario show play all of them in order with a song from their first album in between chapters.

I'll have to listen to the whole album one day! 😱

I think what makes the warning so accessible is that they have a lot of pop influence so they have great catchy melodies and they’re not trying to sound overly complicated. Meaning people who play instruments can easily play along with them and it’s just fun to just rock out with right? There are all three classically trained pianist, and could write way more complicated songs if they wanted to, but that’s not what they’re going for and I respect that.
What genre are they? That’s complicated because they have so many influences. I would say hard rock with grunge , punk, metal, pop. Lol

I love that honestly!! It's an incredible thing when artists CAN write more complicated songs, but choose to write in the style that they're going for, rather than just being pretentious for no reason 🤣 I think they have a beautiful blend of genres. I know most will say they're "rock" but I don't think that's doing them justice. They are a little bit of everything! 🤘

My next request is my favorite- I go back and forth with favorites but Animosity has to be it. Super catchy chorus, lyrics that are so slap back. It was written by Pau, the drummer, about a friendship that went awry. It should be a radio hit IMO

Looks like I'll have that one on the list!!! 😁💖💕 Thanks for telling me about it! Really excited to listen!!!

Been enjoying your videos a lot. I've got a request for 'When I'm Alone'.
The song was written by Dany when she was 15 while she was attending a summer program at Berklee and feeling homesick. The live performance at Teatro Metropolitan is worth checking out.

I can see the comparison. When Dany is singing more cleanly and not “growly 😂”, like on the studio versions- I can definitely hear the similarities. Also, the both seem to sing in English but have a different first language. I can just tell in the way they pronounce some of their vowels. I’d say Danys vocals have improved dramatically in the past two-three years so yes, I’d say she is a bit more powerful but I’ve never seen that other band live

Ohhhhhh I see!! Yeah the other band, Screaming Females have a lot of songs with very special vibrato on the vocals and that reminded me of Dany. Ah that makes a lot of sense. Love her vocals though!!!

I wish they had more solos, she seems good at them. I understand why they don't have them though

Me too honestly. Wish they had more solos toooo but honestly everything they do fits into the song. I understand why they don't do bunch of them

You lose too many details of the musical piece by focusing on saying your own opinion, I congratulate you because it seems you have decided to change that...
