Now you see why people are always pushing for you to hear different songs. So many reactors just watch the Choke Official video and think they know what the warning is about. Oh, look three pretty young women who play instruments that's nice... WRONG!!! LOL. Some of them never even realise that the warning has not one... but two fantastic lead singers, let alone go down the rabbit hole and discover the songs from this album. Glad you are still on the case mate, they are great songwriters, nothing too flashy, but they have learnt how to weave a song together over the years and are happy to explore different styles and continue to grow.
I've said before. "Queen of The Murder Scene" is like a trian going off the track. I'm afraid of where it's going. Then the riff pulls it back just in time. Opps here we go again. The guitar solo pulls it back. This song is a f'n ride
The chant you hear from the drummer Pau, and the Bass player Ale- "Korosu Korosu Korosu", means Murder Murder Murder, in Japanese. This entire concept LP is a battle of two sides, ie... Good vs Evil, in the Queen's mind. With your feeling of a little of this, and a little of that, they was successful in making you feel that way here. Each and every song is a chapter in the story that unfolds around the Murderous Queen. Pau kicks off the story singing "Dust to Dust", then her and her sisters tell the story (12 more songs) as she concludes the roller coaster of a thrill ride, singing "The End". Really is one of the best concept LP's ever made IMO. Might consider earning a crap ton of subs by doing the full LP, using the Lunario Concert where they debuted this LP live, for the first time. You think you seen Dany get into character here? Wait until you see that one. 🤯
to kill KOROSU is the verb “to kill”. It is only used in the context of being committed by a human; it would not be used in reference to someone being killed in a car accident. you were close
This entire album is an absolute masterpiece, written by a 17, 15, and 13 year old. And yes, QOTMS is the best on the album, and my favorite TW song ever.
The darker side of this is the story of a young woman who goes from unrequited love to obsession, stalking, murder, and then a battle against her evil side for her soul. Here, the evil side is gaining control and taunts the good side with her power. But then the good side (sung by Pau) begins to chant "kill" in Japanese. She's coming over to the dark side.
To give this song its proper due, you should listen to the entire Queen Of The Murder Scene album in order. Taken in its entirety, QOTMS is an incredible work of art.
Dany was looking like a female James Hetfield with the all black clothes and the white explorer in this concert and reminded me of Ozzy in the Lunario 2018 show🤘this was perfect for their Enter Sandman performance
This song is part of their 2018 concept album QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE which tells the bloody story of a woman's journey from unrequited love into madness and murder. On stage Paulina portrays her good side and Daniela portrays her evil side. That makes for the 'satan-ish' feel of this song. Of course they're not going satanic or Black Metal, although the Grim Reaper does pay a visit near the end of the album...
This song in particular was mostly written by Dany. She loves the heavy hitting ones making her an amazing rock n roll front woman. Great vocals and riffing on the guitar. The bass line is sick too
No, it was mainly because of Paulina, as in almost all of them, but she has all of them, she says that she was at her most emo dark moment, right to Pau, he really likes Asian culture, the korusu is a killer in Japanese.
If watched in the proper order watch Dany’s incredible performance of a character descending into madness. Her voice, her singing changes, her facial expressions. During her incredible lead, listen to Ale’s bass backing her up. Beautiful. At 7:22 did you hear the blood-curdling scream in the background? That was Dany prerecorded as an incredible and eerie touch!
Songs like this are why some fans feel that their second album was their greatest one, but it’s hard to argue against their third album Error being fantastic too. That being said, their first album is also amazing, and my son is really into their first EP Escape the Mind, so it’s all great, really
To avoid any conflict, I bought all of their albums. Every time I am hearing one of them I discover new aspects. E.g. it took me some time to hear Dany's blood freezing cry in the background of QOTMS. For me this song marks a re-evolutionary leap in Rock music. I call it "XXI century poetry Rock". It perfectly matches with Gretel Joffroy' paintings and the stories of Edgar Allen Poe. It is one edge of multi dimensional art.
My favorite performance of my favorite The Warning song. It's great. If you haven't done "Ugh" from the same show, that one is great as well. Really every song is great from this show.
And still have not done Dust to Dust,. And then less heavy but still heavy Stalker, Sinister Smile, P.S.Y... Stalker, RHNF, The End, Copper Bullets, 21XXCB, Unmendable, Exterminated, 23, Revenant, BlackHoles, Show me the Light etc ...not one even mediocre song
The new 2 songs are like these, the heavy metal side of the Warning. Just waiting to see the oficial videos. They are returning to the QTMS album felling. All their songs are awesome but love the heavier side.
Title track to their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene. If you haven't actually listened to each song in order you should. It's a masterpiece of dark storytelling set to music...by three teenagers. Well, Ale was close to being a teen. Think about that. This song was written by three teens...absolutely GENIUS!
Qué linea de bajo tan chingona tiene ésta rola, la letra y la interpretación de Dany son brutales! Y que decir de Pau en la batería, simplemente genial!!!
Personally I like them because their music is rhythmical, melodic... something that's been dead for over 30 years, not just a flat scratching of the guitar. my opinion.
The Gibson Explorer, Danny is playing was gifted to her by Lzzy Hale live on stage during one of their concerts. Danny was told to play it hard and play it loud.
When I've already seen everything from TW and all I have to do is wait for what's new that they will bring to light… This song "QOTMS" gradually and inevitably took over the first place among my favorite songs. I'm surprised myself that it's not one of those from the most recent album, but from the previous one. Due to its structure, its riff that gets into your bones is hard and one of the heaviest in the TW catalogue, its breakdowns, Dany's "raspy voice", Pau's "korosu", Ale's harmony in that "korosu" (means “kill” in Japanese), Dany's solo, the lyrics are the darkest, every part of the instrumentation is perfect. I don't know, but it's the TW piece that the more I listen to it, the more it excites me, motivates me and pleases me, especially in this live performance at the Metropólitan in CDMX. This masterpiece is in the "Top", only equaled at this moment by the new "HYCAD", but perhaps it is because of the novelty, only time will resolve that. And it will also depend on the new material that our 3 favorite geniuses release next year… Or maybe they will surprise us this holiday season? This reaction was very exciting. Thanks and greetings from México!! 🇲🇽 🤘😁✌️
This is definitely also my favourite song of theirs. That guitar/synth riff goes so hard. And Dany said she loves singing it, because it makes her feel evil and has lots of theatrics in it.
There is no doubt about the talent that the girls have, when they want they can go from a rock ballad to a heavy song to another and even in the same song create several styles mixed with meaning. The truth is, this is a brutal topic, which we always want to hear.
That one tied with Evolve for absolute favorite. Have to listen to each once a week or I get withdrawals. And this coming from a 66yr old who was lucky enough to grow up with LZ, Floyd, Sabbath, deep Purple, etc. Hope you're following along with the story on the QOTMS concept album. The songs make a ton more sense giving that context.
Pau refers the album Queen of Murder Scene album as her teenage angsty phase but I refer to it as their HeadBanging phase truly awesome. You should check out Sinister Smiles or The End (Stars Always seem to Fade) as truly dark and Pau-erful.
We have similar tastes in music styles; aggressive tribal sounding drums and an aggressive but not screamy vocals. Love the hard driving push this song has, especially Pau's breakdown about halfway through the song. Great reaction to it!
The unwritten rule is that if you react to Queen Of The Murder Scene song you have to react to the full concept album by the same name from The Lunario live concert. Okay I made that shit up about the rule 😂 but you can if you want. The Warning Army will be down for the journey
Great reacts !!! Come from The concept album "Queen of the murder scene" the screams at the end of the song were their own scream. recorded when they switch off the light in their warning cave (as the legend said)
Wow, hey guys what did I miss? The Warning Army Hungary is here! 🔥⚡Great reactions man!!!!!! And yes, that darker Dany voice is just so damn good! Anyways, I have two suggestions in my pocket for you, the two Spanish songs. First one is called "Martirio", Dany on lead vocals, and second one is called "Narcisista", Pau on lead vocals. Those are in my top 3, after "Choke", but I mean: Am I really could make a top 3 list? Nope, but I can make a top 50. Keep rockin' in Man!!!!!!!!!! 🎸🤘
It is wicked because it's about murder or kill. Korosu in Japanese is either one of them. And this song is a part of a concept album. You should check it out as a whole.
Imagine folks, PAU was almost thirteen yrs old when she created the whole album by herself. She is the drummer BTW. Watching them from their very beginning, and listened every songs from them, but as a rock fan, can say that this album is their best work to this days. Their late songs can’t even come close to this album. It’s like a Pink Floyd album, one song goes into the other like a book. Big mistake bro that you didn’t listen the whole album in one sitting!
This is the title song of their QOTMS concept album. Others from TWA will give you more info but it is an album I listen to, front to back, no skipping of any songs(because, yes, they are ALL that good), and more often than their other albums. Written and composed when they were 17, 15, and 12. My favorite concept album.
The dark nature of the song is largely due to the fact it’s part of a storyline in which the protagonist has at this point totally lost her mind and has turned into a homicidal maniac. They aren’t just trying to sound satanic like a bunch of school boys that think it’s cool to draw occult symbols and sound eeeeevil, man.
Dany definitely knows how to play the part. Your gonna love the QOTMS album. Recommend doing it at Lunario the whole albums live premiere. I'm with you on hard rock/metal, Megadeth, Metallica, Testament ect. Then comes The Warning claiming my top band spot.
This song is 🔥I usually can't pick favorite songs, especially with fire spitters like The Warning, but this... and when the screams in the background come in near the end, it's goosebump nation. This performance of QotMS is up there with Evolve from the MTV VMA's in terms of intensity and raw power. The spaceship "DPA The Warning" is climbing fast to the stratosphere, and once there they'll make an FTL jump, and travel to the stars 🚀⭐
Queen of the Murder Scene is a rocking Album. One might say they're really killing it.. The concerts where they perform the whole story is a awesome. Every time you do a Warning song it's your new favorite.. I love it . Be cool🤟🎶☮️
Its definitely my fave and its definitely got heavier as Dany changed to the PRS and obviously the Explorer and the growl that shes developed vocally... your description of "Wicked" and an evolution of rock is so spot on!!! 🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥
Great reaction! Highly recommend you check out '23' and 'Martiro' next from this concert. '23' really showcases Paulina's vocals, and 'Martirio' is one of the two songs they perform in Spanish.
So cool. I was never into this kind of music when I was young, and yes I'm that old that I remember the old stuff like this, but having followed the band for awhile and understanding the concept of this album, it just all clicks. The catharsis of just going for your fantastical murder-ballad-novel-album is hilarious and beautiful in equal measure. You know they say there is no place more dangerous than inside a teenage girl's mind: QoTMS demonstrates that. When they talk about writing it they're like "We had this story planned out, but well, we had the murder part and had to come up with the rest!". I absolutely love how much you relate to it (musically obviously, hopefully not topically). Your eyes just light up and it's clear you are not acting. Fun to witness. I think their songwriting here is second to none. It's epic.
You gotta listen to the whole album straight through! You'll understand the creepiness much better! Just make sure you pay attention to the lyrics in every song!
Dany uses drop d-tuning in this song. Check the guitar tabs. The song touches dark metal / black metal. FYI: their upcoming album is supposed to be heavier. If you haven't aalready, listen to Slayer, Seasons in the Abyss.
THIS is one of my favorite songs from them. It's an absolute banger. And this entire album rocks. Which, by the way, Pau (drummer) is the primary writer, and when she pitched this concept to her sisters, they were like "why is there so much blood?" lmao
This song is fantastic and intense on its own, but this and the other songs from the QotMS album really shine in context of the story. They made some brilliant choices with that album.
Part of the reason for the heavy sound -- I believe this is their only song where Dany uses Drop-D tuning. (I think their Blacklist album version of Enter Sandman - tuned to E-flat; and their latest single More is in Drop-C# or E-flat/Drop-C#)
The album Queen of the Murder Scene is a concept album that follows a story. Well worth reacting to the album from start to finish.
Yes indeed, would great if you went chapter by chapter in order....it is an awesome story. Lunario CDMX concert.
And once you hear up to that song, you'll know... not so much Satanic as Psychotic. Enjoy!
The girls definitely have a Black Sabbath streak in them. Pau has admitted to having a darker side to her personality and song writing. Love it! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
One of my 53 favorites from them. 🙂

Been waiting to see this one lol. That explorer was given to her by Lzzy Hale
Oh My God! These Girls, this band Rock like no other, and there’s been a lot of great rock bands that I’ve listened to in my life!
Its definitely my fave and its definitely got heavier as Dany changed to the PRS and obviously the Explorer and the growl that shes developed vocally... your description of "Wicked" and an evolution of rock is so spot on!!! 🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥
What a front person Dany is.
!!!The Warning = 10 🔥¡¡¡ Greetings from Argentina
Yes, WTF were my first words when I saw them for the first time.
Every song you played by The Warning is your favorite 😂😂😂
Great reaction! Highly recommend you check out '23' and 'Martiro' next from this concert. '23' really showcases Paulina's vocals, and 'Martirio' is one of the two songs they perform in Spanish.
Yeah, I definitely get an early Sabbath vibe from parts of this song. Delicious!
hell yeah, knew you'd like this one. Song's an absolute ripper.
It's epic.
Oh fuck I watched this again and when you said "is it just me" I lost it.
😆😆
@@JustinPierceeHave you heard Volbeat...The Devil's Bleeding Crown?

This song is a banger 🤘⚡🤘
You gotta listen to the whole album straight through! You'll understand the creepiness much better! Just make sure you pay attention to the lyrics in every song!
Dany uses drop d-tuning in this song. Check the guitar tabs. The song touches dark metal / black metal. FYI: their upcoming album is supposed to be heavier. If you haven't aalready, listen to Slayer, Seasons in the Abyss.
You are gonna LOVE this album 😎🤘⚡
Oh yeaaah im keen!
THIS is one of my favorite songs from them. It's an absolute banger. And this entire album rocks. Which, by the way, Pau (drummer) is the primary writer, and when she pitched this concept to her sisters, they were like "why is there so much blood?" lmao
🙋⚡⚡⚡🔥🔥🔥
this sounds better than the recent Metallica songs
This song is fantastic and intense on its own, but this and the other songs from the QotMS album really shine in context of the story. They made some brilliant choices with that album.
Part of the reason for the heavy sound -- I believe this is their only song where Dany uses Drop-D tuning. (I think their Blacklist album version of Enter Sandman - tuned to E-flat; and their latest single More is in Drop-C# or E-flat/Drop-C#)
