    Amazing work man. That would be the Bee's knees for playing Mordheim, but great for just about anything. Kudos on an outstanding job.

    Pretty crazy to see how much you've improved the design of your builds in terms of modularity. I'm going to be crafting a grassland board soon, but might have to hit your shop up for some river tiles as I dont think I'll be dabbling in resin pours anytime soon!

      I'm always trying to think of new ways to make things create more variety or to try and hide the modular nature of the board.

    extremely impressive board! the idea of making interchangeable areas within tiles is really neat. Curious how you would go about doing something like this in a 40k sci-fi setting?

    • @GoodEnoughScenery
      @GoodEnoughScenery  2 дня назад

      Hey, thanks for the compliment!
      In terms of a 40k board it depends on the setting and how much you care about seeing the joins between boards.
      Natural boards like grassland, desert or a rocky/lava could all work but you'd see the joins.
      You would get a way with it a lot more in an urban/imperium setting where straight lines will occur more naturally, you can check out my other modular boards to get a better idea of my approach

    This is hugely impressive. You must have put many hours into designing this stuff even before beginning to build. I don't know what else you've done already as I'd never heard of your channel before, but have you considered a big modular structure? Something for games that benefit from verticality, like Necromunda/Mordheim etc. A multi-levelled industrial facility or a massive cathedral type thing, with lots of modular layers and/or rooms for instance. Just a thought. Very enjoyable video in any case.

    • @GoodEnoughScenery
      @GoodEnoughScenery  День назад +1

      Thanks for watching.
      Honestly it comes to the design aside from the basic plan I do make a huge amount of it up as I go along.
      I play Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game more than anything else and whilst verticality does come into it a bit it isn't enough to devote a project to and I don't have the storage space to make stuff I'm not going to use.
      I'm open to making something like that for sure, would just need a reason to which at this stage is like to be someone paying me to make them one!

    • @Solitary_Scribe55
      @Solitary_Scribe55 День назад +1

      @@GoodEnoughScenery Thanks for replying. I just wondered if you'd ever thought about trying something that crazy. I know what you mean about storage. I'd love to get into Mordheim, but I just don't have space for the substantial terrain needed to bring that game to life. I already have so much industrial sci-fi terrain I'm basically stuck with games for that setting.

    • @GoodEnoughScenery
      @GoodEnoughScenery  День назад +1

      @@Solitary_Scribe55 I know the feeling, I've just bought into 40k as I rarely ever get to play lord of the rings.
      That'll require an entirely new board 😉

      @@GoodEnoughScenery I used to play LOTR back in the day, school/college age, but lost interest over time. Right now I'm working on a Kill Team/Inq28/Necromunda hybrid system using the 2018 KT rulebook as a foundation. I'm only into skirmish scale games and I much prefer narrative driven stuff, so in this competitive-centric era I'm relying on my own head cannon and creativity. GW's meta obsession has pushed me away from their current output. Having said that I hope you enjoy your foray into 40K. It's a great setting however you prefer to play. I'll defo sub and keep an eye on your projects.👍

    • @GoodEnoughScenery
      @GoodEnoughScenery  День назад +1

      @@Solitary_Scribe55 I'd only play LotR/battle companies and necromunda if I could find regular games, this shouldn't be a problem with 40k and the models are much better quality so far.
      Currently unsure on the next project, watch this space....
