I love adding the tufts at the very end. It makes such a difference. Always have double what you’ll think you’ll need as those tiny 2mm tufts are sometimes hard to find in large numbers.

I’m thinking about rules too. I’m going to look at Oathmark, War of the Ring and Battle of the 5 Armies (Warmaster) as my reading before I choose.
I’m like you, I want the armies more or less done before I actually start playing. The only thing that ‘must’ be decided on first is basing.
@davidwasilewski OK cool! Oathmark and WOTR, I didn't consider, so I'll add these to my notes. Yeah I'm a sucker for armies. I'm with you there, I went with standard grass land, can't go wrong with that. Be good to swap notes at some point, I need get my head around this game some how....

Great looking army and fun vid,when I paint 10mm fantasy like warmaster or bofa minatures I start with a black undercoat then drybrush the figures with leadbelcher then skin and uniforms.

Ah it was tragic - moved it for a second - put it on the floor - (in front of my modular board in its case) - left room - returned..... modular board had fallen onto it and smashed quite a lot of them into a thousand pieces
