There are so many podcasts out there, but the Tim Ferriss Podcast is one of the very few that will continuously improve your life and your outlook on life. I'm also going through a lot in my life, as my brother is fighting Glioblastoma, my Dad is in and out of the hospital, and I'm still recovering from a stroke I had back in July 2023. But, with all that, I've become a better, stronger person. With meditation, journaling, organization, and limiting screen time, I feel so much more centered.
Love love love Tim’s/your realness across all your work. You could have decided not to let us see you are in turmoil at the moment, backed away, but LOVE that you bravely moved toward it. LOVE that you did this propped up by a pillow on a bed - a place we rest, escape and even go to cry in private. And LOVE witnessing your conscious switching between thinking your way through it and feeling your way through it. THANK YOU.
Love Greg Mckeown! (And you Tim!). Essentialism principles have been foundational for the past few years. The book has been very impactful to my personal and professional life. Thank you both!
An OUTSTANDING interview! Got a lot out of it, especially the Carl Rogers philosophy about truly listening and Rob Dyrdek's The Rhythm of Experience. Awesome, thank you BOTH!!
Rob Dyrdek interview must surely be imminent! Hilarious that Tim wasn't familiar already...but a conversation here between Rob & Tim would be phenomenal, a game-changer, a much needed collision of inspired minds with thoughtful and purposeful intention. I don't personally know Tim or Rob, but this needs to happen ASAP! Let's goooo!
Really enjoyed this Tim and Greg, fantastic timing looking into my habits and routines for 2025. Especially found the 1-2-3 List Method really helpful, thank you!
It's a testament to how visual cues can unintentionally influence our focus. I paused at 20mins to write this comment and to flip my phone over. Hopefully this will allow me to let it go and focus on the conversation.
Also, I met the filmmaker/owner of Signal Productions, Travis D. Brown, who had a debilitating back problem for years. He stayed in bed for hours a day. Travis is now healed, working, and traveling all because he applied the techniques from the book 'The Way Out' by Alan Gordon, LCSW. It's a revolutionary, scientifically proven approach to healing chronic pain. Best to your recovery.
My Christmas was horrible because my kid was away over Christmas with his father in the UK. But he's back and i'm much better now. Found my joy back. But it was really hard. My heart was ripped out. Even if i knew he was great because his father loves him very much i wasn't great. You see life can change for better. We can overcome challenges.
Don't wanna be mean but Tim u almost 50 and now u want to start a family and find a wife. What have u done the past 20 years? No wonder u are in stress. I would be too.

The last 1/3 of this episode is gold
Time for a relisten to essentialism
I'm already on rewind, you are spot ON!

Sorry to hear you’re having a stressful start to the year Tim. Hope you can re-center soon.
Tim Ferris show is consistently Valuable
First comment! Yaay
first
My essential takeaway is being thankful for the hard things. Thank you for the interview.

Was it essential for this guy to arrange his bookshelf by color 🤣

It was his maid, bro.
I actually love it 😂 I dislike visual chaos and this is very pleasing and un-distracting
Guarantee he got the idea from Home Edit, anyway I like it lol!
So unpractical. 😂
Wow right in the middle of reading his book essentialism
Tim is awesome

The opening line was funny as I’ve spent today avoiding work on my book!
Absolutely loved the essentialism book. Much more sensible than minimalism
Rob Dyrdek would be a fantastic guest
ربنا يسهل امرك ويفرج همك تيم ويبارك في عمرك 💟
Enjoyed this episode. Rob Dyrdek would be a great guest.
I am going through something so similar to what he is describing at the beginning. Wow
I liked the book "Essentialism" but seeing that the author organizes his bookshelf by color makes me question the rest of his advice.
Interestingly McKeown described and arranged human systems inversely to Maslow's hierarchy of needs
Thank goodness Tim Ferris finally changed that HORRENDOUS intro/outro music for his podcast
Red is Tim's colour.
Pleaaaazzze have Dyrdek on the show

Was this inconsiderate, judgmental, and useless comment really necessary?
A man always finds a woman. No big deal. And with his money acccount😂
