First time seeing pocket holes used. Cool. Got an idea for you. I use durarex Speaker Cabinet Coating om many of my speakers box builds with a textured roller. Would look good. Try some
those speaker holes are all jacked up. No finish? I'd coat it with something or maybe even stain it. Other than that pretty nice job. It's solid for sure.
How is it powering itself? The one i did ran on a battery and i also gave it a wall plug in option, but if i could get it to run like this video, i won’t have so much weight on it.
Could you put a DC-DC supply inside the same box and connect the boombox directly to 110v? In my case I would be using a simpler CD player caradio, supposedly delivering 25W/ch. Would a 12v 2A wall war supply be enough? The speakers would be two full range 4", no tweeters.
@@jlistdiy OK. I am not sure what I have left on my drawers. I would like it to be 14.5v to extract the most I can and probably lower distortion. A 30A supply like the one you used, adjusted to 14.5v, should be the way to go. Is there a breakpoint on the radios for input voltage?
I am about to do the same thing, but I am putting the tweeters as far to the ends to get the best stereo separation. I wil lbe staining my unit as well. Curious to know, what size woofers are those?
Неаккуратная работа, неправильное расположение динамиков. Как то играет и ладно. И с 2дин магнитолой очень дорого выходит. Я делал бумбокс из модулей, так мне вся комплектация обошлась сколько одна магнитола стоит!
This is really cool but it would've been nice to see how are you powered it
i love it!! im doing mine currently in a tower setup with a milwaukee m18 to 12v adapter
Awsome that's a fantastic idea
love it, your attention to detail is outstanding? I'm sure it's off your 12v battery lol.

That is a great idea thanks for the info 👍
WOW. Awesome
Thank you
Very cool thanks
Awesome work, Jamie! 😃
How much current does it pull?
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Not to much current at the moment i'm only using a 12 volt 1 amp plug
@@jlistdiy Oh, sweet! I thought it would need much more!
@@MCsCreations I was surprised that it didn't
12v 10amp is wat they can pull tho

Right on thank you
Hey Jamie! I love the video! I am just wondering if you can do this for me and maybe be able to ship it? How much would it cost to build?
Not something I really wanna do at this time but I may in the future
@@jlistdiy dang that stinks… do you know anyone that does it?
@@anthonystech1016 not right off hand
@@jlistdiy Ok thank you anyways

14 volt power supply
Ohhh, okay. That’s cool 😎
I’m having same issue. It turns itself off after a certain volume level. And the radio is suppose to have a 12 volt. I’d be afraid to give it anymore.
it's about the amperage that your unit consumes, it requiers how much it says on the fuse, probably about 10 amps@@maxbush1197

I would use something that has at least 10 amp

@@carlose.martinez545 I wouldn't go any higher then 14.5 volt in my opinion
@@jlistdiy Thanks!

You could also power it off it's own solar power.
how can we talk

Thank you
How did you power this up? What is the power supply?
I used a 12 volt transformer
I didn’t see no power source? How was it able to pier up?
