    Отново страхотна идея и добра реализация. Един съвет - ползвай флюс на паста, когато запояваш платките. Много улеснява нещата и се избягват нежелани прегрявания.

    Interesting concept. One suggestion would be, use of kapton tape or mica sleeve between new module and wires to prevent shorts. Because the new module's pcb back side plate acting as heatsink as well.

    Awesome job! I am trying to do this with the 2.4 amp charger (I have 2 of these). However I read other people's commenrts and heard they couldn't make it work.
    Do you or anybody have an update on the 2.4A charger mod?
    Another question: cutting the AC-DC source away from it didn't affect the charging curve? I mean is the charging time / capacity affected or same as original?
    Last but not least, there is the Octocoupler "U1" which you left out of the mod but I saw other video where they included it too..
    Cheers from Romania!

    To push it even further, I think ultimate charge for best battery health would have on/off undercharge (for example 85%) and choice of slow or fast charge. When not in hurry, there is no point in charging 4A, battery would be more happy for longer lower amps charge. Solution could be for example parallel step up module connected directly to battery and set only to 19.5V and only 1 amp (cell protection is not needed while doing undercharge). It could fit in bigger casing of 4.5 charger. What do you think, ErCan?

    • @ErCanEverything
      @ErCanEverything  2 года назад +2

      Yes, this can be done with 1 key with several options with the addition of certain resistors. And you can choose to charge with 1A, 2A, 3A or 4A with an additional switch, in the same way you can adjust the desired voltage🙂

    • @petrdjak
      @petrdjak 2 года назад +1

      @@ErCanEverything Yes, putting parallel resistors to potentiometers on DC converter is nice idea. In the end I decided to add XT60 to PAA 20-Li B2 and in combination with DC-DC converter with display it is neat solution when I am getting my desired variable charger (reduced charging speed for battery life) and also universal power source. For charging I don't need cell protection because I will undercharge to 20.5V (longer battery life) when independent cell balancing in the battery can do its job (it runs on cells > 4.0V). Thank you for inspiration!

    Всъщност точно обратното - частта със захранването 220v си струва да се остави, а другото (зарядната част) да се махне. Тя е с контролер без datasheet, с който е изграден и таймер и изключва заряда след известно време. Което е проблем ако си си намалил зарядния ток (както аз съм направил) - трябва да вадиш батерията и да я слагаш обратно за да свърши заряда след рестарт на таймера.

      ULGD 5.0 is a Ultimate Speed 12V battery chargeur. It's turn the 220V into 14V 5A for charging car batterys. It's like the PARKSIDE x20team chargeur but for the 12V car baterys.
      Do you think it's possible yo replace the 220V power supply by a 12V car cigarette lighter plug like you have done with the PARKSIDE x20team chargeur ?

    • @ErCanEverything
      @ErCanEverything  2 года назад +1

      If you want to charge a 20V battery with ULDG 5.0, it will not work because it will not allow 21V output voltage.
      The best option is adjustable DC Boost converter from 12V to 21.6V.

    Здравейте, поредното добро видео. Поздравления!
    Имам следният въпрос , предвид че накрая тестваш зарядното на 12 в, дали ако зарядното се ползва при запален автомобил когато напрежението е по високо, оптимално 14.4В, дали няма напрежението към
    батерията да се повиши нсд 22в

    • @ErCanEverything
      @ErCanEverything  2 года назад +2

      Не, няма да се повиши напрежението. Напротив, по този начин тока пада от около 8A към 6-7A. Това е добре и за конвертора, и за кабелите. Колкото е по високо входното напрежение, толкова повече пада консумираният ток.

    • @DjaniAgain
      @DjaniAgain 2 года назад +1

      Платката, която вгради вътре е за тази цел, тя подава стабилно напрежение и ток независимо от входното. Има си ограничения разбира се, но 2-3 волта разлика не са никакъв проблем за схемата!

      всъщност съм ползвал степ уп платка за една по масивна блутут колонка която конструирах, но признсвам си незнаек че изходящото напрежение не се влиае от входящото.

    • @ErCanEverything
      @ErCanEverything  2 года назад +1

      Забелязах,че изходящото напрежение при Boost Up конвертери, започват да влиаят когато входното напрежение е равен или е по висок от входното.
