I was given this brush for free by a friend and I loved the results. For starters, no issues with hair lost or pulling. The hand is sturdy and was a easy process to brush through my 3b-3c hair. What surprised me the most was my curl defintion. I usually use Denman brush but this was on the next level. Your hair is beautiful and curls looked amazing. Im transitioning so the curl definition was a plus for me.
Ok I think it might work better if you put the clip in on the top set of notches. Next, you have to brush vertically first as instructed to start detangling...then brush horizontal. Try it again to see if that works better.
I tried the brush and I was so excited about it until I realized that my detangling time was so much longer and I was losing more hair. I agree with your review. My fingers work just fine!
I definitely heard mixed reviews about it! From what people are saying, the bar on the back makes it work really well. Maybe i should’ve tried it with that bar on, but i couldn’t figure it out lol
I use the as I am JBCO cowash when I wanna to restyle my hair and its dull and not too dirty for a shampoo. So basically I use it every other week and shampoo in between or as needed.
Girl you gotta get creative, I use my EZ Detangler as a massage scalp and a comb to part with too. Also once you detangle it def helps get your product on each strand. I do agree with the tugging on your hair but it’s still a staple for meee ❤️
Girl pink is my color lol! But I’ve been wanting to try this brush but I’m so nervous to waste my coins😭😭 I’ve heard so many mixed reviews. I think I’m just going to stick with my tangle teezer and wide tooth comb
I love your curls!! I’m patiently waiting for mine to grow out 😌 Thanks for this honest review because I’ve been seeing this brush around & I definitely don’t thinks it’s worth the hype now! Your regular brush worked just fine!! 💓
it's the fact that your hair was still dry somewhat and I think the force applied played apart. I used it on a friends hair before i braided her hair and it was completely dry. I used the spray bottle and she did not lose the same amount of hair in this video and she is West Indian. So yea I think it's still a great brush
You're right! At first I was like I have that brush and I like it...but I realized I also like my regular vent brush more. My sister got the vent brush I love from Walmart and it works better too it was 5.99 or something like that😂 I appreciate your honesty! 💖
So funny, I was literally just looking at buying this brush! Ohhh and we use the As I Am Coconut Cowash too! But I agree with you that my hair feels the most clean when I shampoo it. This brush looks like a "toy" version of the Felicia Leatherwood brush. My kids are super tender headed and have waist length hair that tangles super easy! I think the disconnected teeth can sometimes be painful, I think we may have to pass on this one. Thanks for the video, Sis!
I did not like the ez detangler brush at all lol. It hurt and was pulling my curls as well and I had so much hair in the brush! I love how you compared the two because you can really see the difference👏🏽I use the as I am cowash three times a month and shampoo once a month because it’s just quicker for me during my wash day because it gives so much slip😍
I loved Wen when it was out but usually i only co wash to get treatments out of my hair..my ayervedic treatments..and shampoo in rotation..moisturizing shampoo one week..clarifying shampoo/bar the next week.. deep conditioning weekly...my Jesuit just made booty length in 2020..😉
I only cowash when needed. I shampoo and condition every week so I cowash in between if I want to redo my wash n go before washday. I’m scared to try my brush because I’m so used to finger detangling. Your reaction as you brush your hair makes me even more afraid!!
Just used the brush....hmm😒. We have similar textures/length but I still had to stop here and there to finger detangle some knots because I just didn't want to pull thtough it with the brush. It's "ok", I just felt like my hair laughed at it like it did the Denman brush, as if my hair could talk it would say,...."What you fixin' to do with that? You know I like to be finger detangled". It got the job done but I wouldn't use it all the time. I give it a 5 out of 10.
Catching up on videos.. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ I haven’t used the brush, BUT I watched a few vids of ppl with 4c hair and I saw nothing but mediocre to bad reviews.. so if YOU gave it a 3/10 with your hair type 😂.. I refuse to waste my coin!
I feel you sis!! Some people have told me that the plastic bar that’s included makes a huge difference! Maybe it could work for you if you used the bar?

I’m happy the brush worked out for you!! Thanks for watching!
Helloo, how is it going now? I plan buying it for curl definition, is it really as good as the denman brush?
Ok I think it might work better if you put the clip in on the top set of notches. Next, you have to brush vertically first as instructed to start detangling...then brush horizontal. Try it again to see if that works better.
Thank you! Others told me the bar that comes with the comb is a game changer! Thank you for the advice!! 🥰
I think it’s a great brush... I think your hair is still dry. Soak your hair more
Oh no I love mine, but I have really tight curls. I prefer this over my denman brush, but love you gave your honest review😊
Thank you for watching!!! Do you use the “bar” that came with it? A lot of ppl tell me that it makes a huge difference
What is your curl pattern? Do you think it is as good as the denman brush for styling? I want to use it as a styler brush for defining my 3b 3c curls
I tried the brush and I was so excited about it until I realized that my detangling time was so much longer and I was losing more hair. I agree with your review. My fingers work just fine!
Girlllll!! I felt like that brush was tugging too hard in my hair! I’m not good at finger detangling lol! I love my amazon vent brush!!
I actually love this brush but everyone is different, that’s great they sent you this brush 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 mine is not exactly EZ I got mine off of amazon
I definitely heard mixed reviews about it! From what people are saying, the bar on the back makes it work really well. Maybe i should’ve tried it with that bar on, but i couldn’t figure it out lol

That’s good to know!!! I wish cowash had a lather cause i feel like my hair not clean if it doesn’t!

That may be great idea!! Cause i did like how defined my curls after my hair was Detangled! Thanks sis!
The item said to go vertical first then horizontal

Yeaaa I’m not a fan of this brush!! I mean, it gets the job done, but my Amazon brush is cheaper AND works better in my opinion!
I love your curls!! I’m patiently waiting for mine to grow out 😌 Thanks for this honest review because I’ve been seeing this brush around & I definitely don’t thinks it’s worth the hype now! Your regular brush worked just fine!! 💓
Thank you!! And you’re right! It’s not worth the hype in my opinion! Thank you for watching!!!!

My hair wasn’t dry, it had product on it. Its great the brush works for you but it’s not for me! Thanks for watching the video 😀

Thanks for watching! I hear people talking about the Felicia Leatherwood Brush!! What’s different about it?

Thank you!! And i could def tell the difference with my regular vent brush! Which cowash do you use? Is it the coconut one?
@@JasMcQueen yes the coconut one! I literally just bought a new container last week lol
@@TayyLiz hahahaha! I need more too! Lol
I didn’t even know they made co wash products! When I co wash I normally just use regular conditioner and no shampoo
Oh ok!!! I honestly don’t like using it cause my hair doesn’t feel clean enough lol 😅
I think I would prefer regular detangle brush! Looks like that went better for you
It did work better!! Plus the price was way better too! I just don’t think this comb is worth the hype but it does get the job done!
yup the exact reason I stopped using co wash,I just used it just to finish the bottle lol
Haha! I need all the lather for my hair to feel clean lol!!
Yass congrats on 1k!!! That’s huge and so well deserved💗
Omg! Thank you!! I’m so excited!!

Hahahahah!! My face def shows I was very concerned lol!
Ive always wanted to try that brush. It is kind of overhyped. Great video, your curls are beautiful 💕
Thank you so much for watching! It’s def overhyped AND overpriced lol! Them $5 Walmart detangling brushes do just fine haha!
Your natural hair is so beautiful!❤💯
Thank you sooo much!!! And thank you for watching!!

I feel you! And you’re soo funny!! Lol my hair doesn’t do well with finger detangling! I def don’t feel this brush is worth the hype!
That shit snatched my hair out 😂
Same sis!!! Lol
Girl you’re supposed to go vertically then horizontally 😭
Thanks for watching!!
Such a such a beautiful hair ;-)
Love it
Thank you sooo much!! And thanks for watching!!!
The sides are nt equal,. I think dey work d same
Pretty hair!
Thank you so much!
Is the ez brush good for styling and defining curls?
you have to takw your tine brushing it
A 3/10😂😂😂 I agree completely! I used mine once and never again lol
Yea, idk sis! But i did like how the distributed the product throughout my hair! Maybe i can just use it after i detangle!
Catching up on videos.. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️

Thank you soo much!!
How do you prevent curl shrinkage😫
My curls actually do shrink when my hair dries! So I haven’t figured out a way to decrease shrinkage at this point. Thank you for watching!!
@@JasMcQueen Have used the Ez Detangler since ur review
I regret buying it. Not only was it painful using it to detangle but it shed so much of my hair 😡🤦🏽♀️.
Same!! Thank you for watching!!
@@JasMcQueen no problem! I’ve spent the past hour just watching your videos lol and I just had to subscribe!! ☺️
@@evanie1159 omg! Thank you soo much!! It means a lot to me!!
Where is she from?
ur facial expressions make it seem bad when its such a good brush you know it is it detangles wonders
For me, this brush caused unnecessary pulling and pain. I’m happy it works for you though! 😀 thank you for watching the video!
The original Felicia Leatherwood is 17 bucks and way better than the copy cat of Ez detangler..fyi
Thanks for watching the video!!!
girll noo you’re supposed to brush vertically 😭😭 you’re using it wrong
Lol, thanks for watching the video
