I had the same problem and it drove me crazy I checked everything from balancing tires to you name it. Turned out that the bushings on my transfer case needed to be changed. Changed the front ones fixed the problem after a few months had to change the back ones. Check all bushings that could be your problem.
This can be done in 10 minutes with a scanner than can code the ride height value. I just take the 190cm front 220cm rear standard, recode then the set values how ever many cm you want it lowered. 160cm will lower the front the lowest for comfortable ride but will hit the bump stops on speed bumps ect. My cayenne turbo is slammed on stock bags. 21 GTS wheels don't rub either. An alignment is required after one you find the everyday ride height you want then get it aligned.
I will say though these are old cars now and I destroyed the crumbly OeM bumpstops until it was slamming metal on bumps. Had to buy a front strut rebuild kit from Ali express included bump stops and new o rings for 13$... now it's butter
Wimpy... Go for the inner tie rods. They may not look or appear worn on inspection but it sounds to me like thats your issue. I was experiencing somethng similar to what you describe on my 957 Cayenne GTS . Changing the inner and outter tie rods make the car drive like new.
Thanks mate, did you experience the vibration coming through the chair? It really hard to feel where it’s coming from?? If it’s front tie rods then happy days 👍
@@WIMPYbrothers it was though the body of the car. I went under the car to check axle bearing which was fine, I replaced upper and lower control arms which made it a little better. I finally decided to throw one last part at it (2 actually inner & outer tie rods). It did the trick. The car drove smoothly at all speeds. I'd tested the tie rods repeatedly; pulling, tugging etc. They felt fine. My Cayenne GTS had nearly 100k miles on the odometer so it figured it was time to replace them even if they felt fine under the test conditions I put them through. Hope this helps,Good luck.. I'll be watching
I sold the Disco 3, then bought a Disco 4... sold the 4 for the Cayenne for a change but hope to sell it soon and get another Disco I imagine... I never keep cars for long 😉
Very good new episode. Today more car-ish one. It definitely looks much better with the gangsta style. I’m not an expert, absolutely not, but you didn’t find any flat spots or brake spots on the front tires yet like at the GT‘IIII? Stay safe mate, looking forward to the next episode
I'm not sure it needs spacers, but worth giving it a go if only for more content on it. I love this beasty machine!! Still hoping you'll get another Discovery 3 or 4 though 😊

Looks a lot better! Yup, spacers to fill those arches a little better! Cheers Wimpy!
Your welcome mate! Defo agree on the spacers 👍
I have the same year/color piggy, and the lowering links for over a year. One day I'll get to it. Love the look!!
Have you considered Johnson Rods/Rhino Rods for the Land Rover? Similar install and gives you a good lift.
Epic content wimpy. Really entertaining. Kudos...
Thanks bro 👍
Thank you bro
did you ever add spacers? looks awesome!

It does massively!! It’s sounds exactly the same... I’ll get them ordered, thanks again 👍
I'm happy now ☺ does the law ride affect the airbag long-term
No idea mate!! Hope not?
Gearbox vibration? Like the one that Discovery 3 gets?
Hey mate . Nice video did you notice any change in ride quality ?
Mr Wimpy, has the Porsche replaced the discovery 3 for good??

Thanks bro!! Good call on the tires, I’ll get inspected early next week. Hopefully I’ll get some better weather too fingers crossed 🤞🏻 Stay safe mate
Gangsta shit bro
Greats from Amsterdam
You have the strangest facial expressions, like a cartoon character
Ha! I’ll take that as a compliment 😂🤔 thanks for watching
Yeah spacers. Sort the vibes first tho.
Bruup Bruup!
Yeah mate!!!
No spacers needed. Take Herve for a drive in it...... MacGyver may be able to his force sensitive skills to identify the cause of the vibration.
Good call 👍
