The paper in your cup of tea was quite a big blunder, yes it won’t kill you or get you sick but it’s just one of those facepalm worthy moments. Like how did the cabin crew who was assigned to make your cup of tea not notice the note in the cup. No pre-departure drink was offered on DennisBunnik’s flight on the same route so I’m thinking it’s discontinued due to covid as you said in the video. The cleanliness of the seat is shameful. The liquid stains might’ve not been noticed and that’s fine with me, the tray table was the biggest blunder in terms of cleanliness. Those crumbs should’ve been very easy to spot. The food looked good except for the pre arrival meal. Great trip report as always!!
haha a big face palm moment indeed! If it wasn’t for the name of ‘singapore airlines’ you would’ve thought you were on a 3* airline with no pre departure drink and filthy seats
Wow. The remote control reminds me of past HTC One phones. Hate it when business class seats and surrounding areas aren't even cleaned properly, my goodness. Glad you enjoyed your Lobster Thermidor!
Satay, lobster, sticky date and cheese……… I would be in heaven! The black outer is wax and not eatable, it would be some form of an aged cheddar, should have been fairly crumbly with a strong bitey flavour. Great review as usual!
Great video, Jayden! Looked like great service as usual, but I was surprised by the cleanliness issues at your seat. I would expect better of SQ. The food looked so good. Glad you made it home safely.
woah, this is crazy. my two favourite flight reviewers One world flyer and DennisBunnik posted a review of the same flight from Singapore to Adelaide just one day apart. what a coinsidence.
Great video Jayden. That is the dirtiest SIA seat I have seen. Terminal 2 is closed for renovations. Terminal 4 closed due to lack of regional LC flights. There is a 2nd Lounge in T3. There is an Apple Store at Jewel.
omg your so kind in this review!! i would rate your experience 1/5 STAR! the seat is dirty! the tray has still crumbs of foods! there's a note in your cup! i cant believe this is singapore airlines quality! you should tag singapore airlines for this!
Lounges are not always better than the general waiting area! The black wax is something they put on a lot of cheeses to preserve it before it is opened, I believe. The internet says: 'Cheese Wax is specially made for coating cheeses. It helps prevent unwanted mold growth and retains moisture while cheese is aged. This wax is soft and pliable, unlike pure paraffin wax which becomes brittle, causing it to crack easily.' Thank you for the video!
You can always tell the level of a reviewer and an airline by the way a coat hook is presented and touched. I wait with baited breath for you to present them. Full marks Jayden. You are by far the best coat hook reviewer there is on the Internet. You have great legs too😉. Cheers, Colin.
Wonderful trip report as always Jayden! Quite the surprise you got finding that note in your cup after finishing it! Loved that you grabbed some HK style "ling-mong-cha" and "boh-loh-bao", two of my favourites!! Keep at it!
Thanks for sharing. I had my A350 ride pre covid, it was quite new back then by Vietnam Airlines, like a lot of you know it was quiet and nice. I am however a bit shocked by no linen to cover the seat, and I do like Boeing's Dreamliner's dimmable window better. Always enjoy the sunrise above the clouds or the night view of the city before landing, can't wait to travel normally again!
Hi Jayden, The cheese was probably a Black Bomber. A fancy cheedar cheese. How do you stay so slim with all the champagne and fancy plane food? The sounds are what bring back memories for me. Can't wait to get back on a plane. A beautiful snapshot arriving into Adelaide. Thank you so much for all your hard work in filming these for us. It can't be easy holding a camera so often. Love your Polo Ralph Lauren spearmint coloured shirt. Great legs too btw... lol. Gotta love Singapore Airlines. They really do need a uniform upgrade though. Think it's been the same for at least 20 yrs.
Black wax is used on cheese that is aged either an aged cheddar or aged Parmesan originating in the Parma region of Italy, yours was an Aged Cheddar and no the wax is not edible nor is the note at the bottom of your tea 🤮. Honestly lm glad they put the white cloth on your tray table otherwise l wouldn't be eating off it without my food being on a serving tray. The lobster thermidor had me drooling on my screen! Yum. Other than the cleanliness (which there is zero excuse for) the flight still looked great 👍
Love your review here and speaking of SQ they also operate the ULR version of A350-900. If you want to do that perhaps you should do SQ278 to SQ22 ADL-SIN-EWR then back to ADL on SQ21 And SQ279 from EWR via SIN. Speaking of SQ they also use the CX model of 2hrs transfer between a United States flight to Australia and the Philippines in Singapore Changi Airport. Another example is SQ216 PER-SIN to SQ910 SIN-MNL with NYC passengers from SQ25 & SQ23 for SQ910
Thanks for another detailed report Jayden. Now that the pandemic is almost over (for now) I do hope SIA restores some of the catering features it had removed temporarily. I mean the hot towels are something which SIA had been offering from day one.
Particularly good vlog this time Jayden...it was at a more relaxed pace without losing any of your usual detail. You are looking fit, tanned and happy 😘
Super jealous … I’ve always wanted to try Singapore Airlines business class. Disappointing your seat wasn’t exactly clean … I’d expect more from SIA. 30:15 Props to you (or maybe George) for having El Diablo on your playlist. 🎤 🤩
Hi Jayden 👋. Nice review, as always. I enjoy flying on the A-350 as it's relatively quiet and has better pressurization and humidity control making a long flight much more pleasurable. SQ has always been my favorite airline for many years. I appreciate their incredible on board service. The "book the cook" feature is the way to go if it's available for you. Have you ever flown Business Class on China Airlines' (Taiwan) A-350? The cabin is so refined and quite "classy" looking with small lamps at each seat. Their food is quite good also. I really enjoyed the video you took of your night approach over Adelaide 👍💯. You are really lucky to live in such a beautiful and friendly city. Take care buddy and enjoy your week. Looking forward to your next vlog. 🤗❤️✈️🙏🌎
so glad I watched many many youtube videos before to know that book to cook was a thing. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have known about the lobster thermidor haha! I have only ever know China Airlines 747 in their upper deck business class, sold as economy! Thanks John, many more to come!
Great review Jayden . Just flew Ask to Da Nang.. And then Ho Chin Minh. All economy. Changi was bustling . Food was ok. Service all 4 flights. But the breakkie from Singapire To Adelaide was egg / chicken sausage a drop of spinach. If was awful 😣😣😣. We have little choice flying to Asia from Adelaide nowadays. Although the A350 is a awesome plane . I prefer seating on yhed A330. The 2 seats on the outside has always been my favourite.
Thanks for a great review. Really surprised about the crumbs and oil stains, and the note in your cup!! 🤢 - I would have thought SIN would have better quality control than this. Anyway, still looked like a good flight and enjoyed the review!
I wonder if you can use the shower facilities in the lounge on arrival? I’m flying business class from Seattle to Singapore and I would like to take a shower after I land (before going through immigration) that way I can refresh after a long flight…
Seems like most airlines are really slipping after covid. Such a shame… also how on earth does a note end up in your tea? Yes paper is essentially compostable but it’s still pretty bad, not to mention you would have ingested the ink which would’ve melted into the drink and that certainly isn’t ideal for consumption. Pretty average on SQ these days due to “covid”
Gosh, the crowd in the lounge is madness. I'm heading to SG sometime in July/Aug and am hesitant to fly SQ because of the lounge situation. SIN-OZ flights have had their service reduced to the point is now mostly only one meal for red eye, so good thing you got on the day time flight. No pre departure bev is a casualty of COVID and I'm surprised it isn't reinstated. As far as satay goes, SQ's has no fight with MH. Yummo... The thermidor... Enjoyed the video!
agree, i recently flew singapore -brisbane return , business class, only one meal service each leg. Absolute bullshit , considering the cost of a business fare
Hello Jayden, nice review. I never flew Singapore Airlines, but how much I like the crews' uniforms. So chic! I was a bit disappointed with your meal though, especially the presentation. I think Asian airlines usually do better. I remember EVA Air between Taipei and BKK and it was wonderful depsite the short flight. You showed us the movie selection. How about music? I flew back last Sunday on AF's A350, in Business, and I no longer watch movies. I prefer listening to music during the flight so if you can show us, it would be a plus, but fine too if you don't haha. Last thing, Jayden: How to say "Piper". I heard "pea pure". It should be "pea per" as when you say "per" in "per day". Voila, that's it for French class :) Thanks again for this review, and fly safe!
Noted! I started noticing music selections now. I actually usually listen to my own Apple Music. Most planes don’t have my type of music haha. God, Google Translate got me dirty!
Hello from Port Hughes. Looking at travelling overseas next year and it looks like my first leg will be either Singapore or Malaysian Airlines. Its reviews like this that help my decision making. Although price will be a factor as I'll be paying full fare.
Found your channel as I’m flying on an A350-900 tomorrow from Sydney to Singapore on business! That seat is filthy as and I’m shocked they didn’t clean and sanitise it properly, especially because of COVID. Love the details and delivery of your video and your accent! Are your British? 😍
If you are over six feet tall the leg room is rubbish. The foot tunnel pushes your legs and feet to the right and narrows at the end. Your feet are clamped in like a vice and you are stuck lying flat on your back without being able to roll over either side. Other airline pod layouts offer noticably more leg room like the 777 or even the old Jumbo Jet layouts.
Jayden interesting as always Seems everyone is flying through Singapore You should always sanitize your seat when u get on board ! How many times have I told u young man ! 🤔
A nice review -> Have the real SilverKris Lounge at SIN (not open for Star Golds) been reopened finally? The TV monitor on that regional Biz Class looks pretty small in my eyes; Will you make some hotel review of Adelaide? Best, doc7austin !
Yeah i was in the new real silverkris where golds were allowed in for a while. The Krisflyer lounge reopened maybe just a week ago. Will visit in 2 weeks time :) Re hotel reviews, probably not in adelaide haha. I don’t do staycation
Great video, informative, I liked the video of the engine and take-off, Cripes that business class lounge was a nightmare! Shame about the poor cabin cleaning, Creepy to think about skin cells that have been shed by other passengers and other possible nasties left on the surrounding upholstery, any surface area used by passengers should be cleaned and checked, very poor indeed! I still have fears that the footwell is far too small, I need to move my feet frequently and require plenty of space to frequently reposition my feet! and I dread feeling confined. Not sure this is the flight for me! though I will watch further reviews. thanks!
They really need to sort out their business class check-in. That queue is not really acceptable, a friend of mine flew SQ last month and had to wait 30 minutes in queue to get checked in. Similar to your experience at the lounge it was super crowded and they ran out of their signature drink Singapore Sling lol
Try that 737-8 in Business, they offer full flat too. Best seats 12B and 12J A few weeks ago I had that lobster for breakfast before arrival, was great
SQ's food never fails to disappoint haha. Nice to see friendly crews on your flight - typical of Singapore Girls! And finally, thanks for the nice video!
Hello Jayden - will you be posting a hotel review? I was a bit shocked by the flight in some respects. Putting to one side the cut backs due to covid, I can’t see why the welcome drink has been removed. But the dirt was the real shock. Love your honest reviews and warm delivery 😀
Thank you for making this video, I was on this route so many times when I studied in Adelaide - May I ask a question if you have to isolate when you arrived Adelaide? Because I am planning to travel to Adelaide in July or August…
Considering the price of flying SA the state of the seat was unacceptable. I found the toilet filthy flying home just before the pandemic. I’m in Adelaide and planning an OS trip Turkish, Finnair and Vietnam Airlines are my currents picks for price, food and cleanliness. We’ve flown Vietnam Airlines and been very happy with them. We are in Adelaide but will probably fly to Sydney or Melbourne for more choices. Pronounce orchid like or-kid. It was so cute your pronunciation
The paper in your cup of tea was quite a big blunder, yes it won’t kill you or get you sick but it’s just one of those facepalm worthy moments. I love that you are listening to the amazing Elena Tsagrinou from Cyprus with her EVSC 2021 banger - EL DIABLO!! - on the way home in the car.
Wow. The remote control reminds me of past HTC One phones. Hate it when business class seats and surrounding areas aren't even cleaned properly, my goodness. Glad you enjoyed your Lobster Thermidor!
haha that was the highlight! Wish it was bigger!
Glad you made it home safely.
totally! I also watched another SQ trip report, A380 to Heathrow, that guy got an even filthier seat :/

Been watching a lot of your videos lately as I’m flying economy too using SG Airlines going to Adelaide.
Excellent airlines review of SQ flight. Thorough and honest. Nice tone. Well done.
thanks Elias! Appreciate your comment :)
woah, this is crazy. my two favourite flight reviewers One world flyer and DennisBunnik posted a review of the same flight from Singapore to Adelaide just one day apart. what a coinsidence.

I was re-watching or last hotel review out today when this came up.
haha thanks for increasing my view count Koren🤣🤣
You are killing it with the videos Jayden! Keep it up!!❤️👍✈️

Great video Jayden.

perfection!
I got the chance to work on one of these beauties and that is something I will never ever forget

thanks for watching mate, makes me homesick a bit haha! not gonna lie, haven’t seen your videos for awhile gonna check them out now!!
man finally you start flying again nice work
Bravo to a detailed trip report, Jayden!
thanks mr song!!
Amazing! Fantastic video. Due to COVID insanity I have not been to Singapore since 2017. Now a MUST. Stay safe keep posting
The good old coat hook ALWAYS gets a mention!! :)
of course haha!
What a wonderfully atmospheric landing, Jayden. Good one!
beautiful Adelaide! Flew right over my suburb too😍😍thanks Derek!
Thanks for sharing. I had my A350 ride pre covid, it was quite new back then by Vietnam Airlines, like a lot of you know it was quiet and nice. Many airlines still don’t provide bed linen and PJs unfortunately. Thanks for watching this video😄
@@JaydenWong I was lucky then that I just flew Air Canada to Korea/Japan in Business Class, and both offered the linen :)
thank you for giving us the actual cost of your flight that is available to every one, great video
My pleasure! thanks for watching!
The max 8 flys to Phuket I think most or all services, flew just recently. Brand new plane, very quiet and amazing biz class seat for a narrow body
thanks for watching Adam! Might actually do SQ to Phuket haha
Myself flying Singapore airlines for past 30 years for business. And love to fly always for safety and services
wow, so good Jayden!! So good to see a business class report, although i'm jealous!!
thanks for watching haha!!
Hi Jayden,
The cheese was probably a Black Bomber. A fancy cheedar cheese.
How do you stay so slim with all the champagne and fancy plane food?
The sounds are what bring back memories for me. Can't wait to get back on a plane.
A beautiful snapshot arriving into Adelaide.

Gotta love Singapore Airlines. They really do need a uniform upgrade though. Think it's been the same for at least 20 yrs.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I’m from Adelaide, so really loved watching the landing. What a gorgeous place we live in
such a lovely flight report from a cute young man, go KOHUK go 🤪
Hi Jayden, Fantastic and welcome back, Cheers
I love that sound of the RR Trent XWB.
samee😍
Impeccable and detailed description, as always. Thank-you!
thanks Michael!!
This one is so wonderful,,,one of the best of all ur videos

i see haha i left the cheese alone. It was a wonderful and memorable flight yet!
Great video!! Love the fact your doing business class now, it makes your channel feel 5 star quality! Keep it up! :D
Travelled SQ AIRLINES way back in 1988, Economy Class 4rm KHI 2 SIN IN TRANSIT THEN ONWARDS 2 MELBOURNE. WAS A LOVELY FLIGHT
Changi airport, best in the world. Like a royal palace. SINgapore airlines, it's a SIN not to fly with them: perfection. Great video, Jayden
Singapore Airlines A380 is back on daily London Heathrow flights it has been since the end of February :) (4:50) great review as per usual!
that’s great news! thanks for watching!

15:13 Not really a seafood person myself but the lobster thermador looks really aesthetic 😮
Great review of Singapore Airlines’ business class Jayden! Would hope to accumulate enough miles to try it one day.
thanks for watching mate!!
My favourite airline and Emirates
thanks Louise!!
Super jealous … I’ve always wanted to try Singapore Airlines business class. Disappointing your seat wasn’t exactly clean … I’d expect more from SIA. 30:15 Props to you (or maybe George) for having El Diablo on your playlist. 🎤 🤩
George of course🤣🤣🤣 thanks Adam!
Thanks for the ride, I enjoyed it.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Pleasure watching you in your adventures

14:42 I ♥ garlic bread 😍
ikr! not the stereotypical robotic sq crew!
@@JaydenWong luv ya gayboooo, you on grindr? hangout sometimes
Great review Jayden . Just flew Ask to Da Nang.. And then Ho Chin Minh.

I Enjoyed your Video...Hope you are well & happy !!!
Thanks Ron! I hope the same for you! :)
great report (as per!) The lobster looked very yummy!
Great video! Really enjoyed it. Glad you can fly internationally from Adelaide to Singapore now
I wonder if you can use the shower facilities in the lounge on arrival? I’m flying business class from Seattle to Singapore and I would like to take a shower after I land (before going through immigration) that way I can refresh after a long flight…
Great video, very surprised at the drop in cleanliness standards for SQ.
Great trip report Jayden! I arrived into Singapore 2 days later for my stopover flight to London hehe.
Nice video and review - reminiscent of my last (international) Singapore trip! Looking forward to traveling out there again :)

I was a bit shocked by the flight in some respects.
Putting to one side the cut backs due to covid, I can’t see why the welcome drink has been removed.
But the dirt was the real shock.

Woo I love your lobster. Ball Law Boa and Lemon ice tea the price is cheaper or expensive than HK?
more expensive unfortunately haha!!
16:09 that cheese looked like a hard cheddar to complement the soft brie. And no the black wax is not meant to be eaten; it should be scraped off :)
Lobster thermidor!?! OMG you are so lucky!
Super video!
thanks!!!
Great report as usual Jayden.
PS .Where you on the same flight as your fellow RUclipsr ,Dennis Bunnick ??
Considering the price of flying SA the state of the seat was unacceptable. I found the toilet filthy flying home just before the pandemic. I’m in Adelaide and planning an OS trip Turkish, Finnair and Vietnam Airlines are my currents picks for price, food and cleanliness. We’ve flown Vietnam Airlines and been very happy with them. We are in Adelaide but will probably fly to Sydney or Melbourne for more choices.
Pronounce orchid like or-kid. It was so cute your pronunciation
