What a refreshing surprise to hear Chaim Kurtz's debut single with his kids in the intro and outro! Distant Cousins happen to be one of my favorite bands, and I've been listening to them for a number of years now. I had already been fans of Blue Fringe, with their hit song Flipping out, and obviously enjoyed listening to Moshav Band. Ami Kozak was a new face to me when I first started listening to the Cousins, but I immediately subscribed to his RUclips channel and checked out his different stuff. I love a lot of Distant Cousin's music, and Are You Ready (On Your Own), is on the top of my Jewish Songs That Sound Non-Jewish playlist, which can be found on my RUclips channel under playlists. Whether the song is actually Jewish or not, as well as many other songs on that playlist, is debatable, but are enjoyable nonetheless, and are a great gateway for people that don't necessarily like Jewish songs, but also want to limit listening to goyish music. This was a great interview/conversation, and I while I had already known quite a bit about the band beforehand, I did learn a few new things, and enjoyed their performances on the show! Yasher koiach!
