It's a beautiful fish but to me looks like a gin rin ochiba with much better defined reticulation around the scales. It will be an interesting variety to watch as they develop over thenext few years.
I love how the marking on its head looks like a samurai helmet even with that "X" pattern! SO CUTE! Those dark metallic colours are so different and lovely!

That bronze samurai is gorgeous! Each scale looks as if it were individually painted. I love the stealth pattern and the pattern on its head looks so cool! I'm just learning the koi breeding and patterns so I'm not going to try to chip in on that.
These look stunning. I have some Dainichi Black Zeus, and I can envisage these mixed with an ochiba shigure could make this combination of amazing body, scale definition and unique gin rin. 🤩🤩

It is an ochiba. Koi are named according to colour. Breeders will fancy names as a selling tactic. This is likely an ochiba produced from the introduction of magoi blood to ensure size and vigor. The same way "black lightning" are matsukawabake, the fish you are showing are ochiba. If you are honest with yourself you will agree

Other than the Ginrin scales, is there any other part of this koi which is metallic, the bronze colour in particular? It looks like only the Ginrin scales are metallic so B Ginrin division I believe it will be benched in.
Interesting variety - looks quite menacing 👊🏼 I wonder if they will get even lighter with age (Gosai onwards)?! Or how temperature will effect the pigment like it can with Ochiba?! 🤔
Looks like a mix of ochiba, aragoke and something ! The hard bit is getting them to breed fairly true......I saw one of these in one of your videos and I still feel the same - I'd buy one ❤
