    Look delish!!! Could I use almond flour? Only asking, as I have it on-hand. These will great in a pita pocket!

      You can use oat flour instead of buckwheat. This helps bonding the ingredients together. I would not recommend almond flour. 😊

    I made these but they are really soggy inside after baking, any suggestions? should I bake them longer?

    • @splashofgoodness
      @splashofgoodness  3 года назад +1

      Have you add buckwheat flour? They will only be soft if you eat them right away. The key is to let the cool down completely and make sure to do them on the pan and in the oven, don't skip the step. They suppose to be firm and a little soft but not soggy. Hope this helps. 😊

    • @splashofgoodness
      @splashofgoodness  3 года назад +1

      Yes, you can try to baked them longer. My oven is gas so not sure if that makes a difference.

    What can replace the buckwheat flour?

    • @splashofgoodness
      @splashofgoodness  3 года назад +2

      You can do oat flour, or any gluten free flour. If don't avoid wheat you can also use it. I find them lighter with buckwheat flour.

    • @splashofgoodness
      @splashofgoodness  3 года назад +1

      No it doesn't taste like peas at all. There is lots of mashroom and spices that balance all the flavors.

    • @splashofgoodness
      @splashofgoodness  3 года назад

      Also it can be the heat of the oven I have gas. If you think it needs 5 more minutes then try that as well.

    Can they be cooked in the oven from beginning to end?

    • @splashofgoodness
      @splashofgoodness  3 года назад +2

      Yes, they can be just baked but they might not brown as much as if it's done on the stove first. You also might have to bake them longer. I have not done them just in the oven. This stove method works well because at the end they look just like real burgers and cooked to perfection.

    • @splashofgoodness
      @splashofgoodness  6 месяцев назад

      Are you asking if you can use wheat flour? If so, then yes, you can. In the recipe, I use buckwheat flour, not roasted. It's to keep it together but if you prefer wheat you can easily replace it.

    • @splashofgoodness
      @splashofgoodness  6 месяцев назад +1

      Buckwheat, also called beech wheat or kasha, does not contain any wheat or gluten. Despite the name, buckwheat is not closely related to wheat-buckwheat isn't even a grain. Instead, buckwheat is a flowering plant related to leafy vegetables like rhubarb and sorrel.
