@@Lovely_Aliza Ding Ding Ding you guessed it, that's exactly what they think. So many people who come out to their parents get this reaction and that's the reason why they get this reaction, their parents are just bi and think they've been healed.
I grew up a Catholic my entire childhood and I was obviously not straight to anyone outside of my family because they didn’t want to believe it (I’m mainly talking about my mom). I hated myself for having crushes on other guys, attempted suicide at age 10, and dealt with a ton of insecurity issues. I eventually convinced myself that I was a “straight guy dealing with same sex attraction” even though I knew I was bi since I was 11 but had trouble fully accepting it. It wasn’t until I was 19 that I finally started to accept myself for who I was and I honestly get ashamed for how long it took me to accept myself. I regret trying to be someone else throughout my entire childhood and I still deal with hatred towards myself for not being out sooner. I am 20 now and I am slowly starting to get over the past so my adulthood can be more fulfilling and happier.
I have had a VERY similar experience. I still am struggling now to understand myself. And as a Christian, it was easier to want to beat myself up over how I felt towards other men. But I realize now God didn’t want that for me. I am turning 20 in a couple months and I am also starting to love myself more. I hope I can eventually come out to my parents, but it’s hard being in such a homophobic family /: I hope everything continues to go well for you! 🙏
@@tylerwestbrooks16 yeah, and people wonder why the suicide rate is so high among our communities youth. People only care about them when they die and that’s not okay. My advice to you is to not come out until you can move out because you don’t want to be stuck in that environment. Best of luck to you.
You are fine and you need to be much much much kinder to yourself.None of that was your fault anyway. It's the fault of the catholic cult.I also came out at age 19 to an usher at my family's catholic church and that was 43 years ago.
@@fanOmrythats true, but some of us never had any gay feelings until a certain age. a lot of that may be chalked up to becoming more open to the idea and thus opening something in yourself, but its hard to pinpoint if you exclusively had straight feelings until now
Hi Jack! Thanks so much for reacting to our Jubilee episode! 🌈 I really enjoyed what you had to say! You are a critical thinker, and I love it!! And you are hilarious! I was ROLLING off your edits! 💀💀😂😂 As you can probably tell by my facial expressions (well both Abigail and mine), this was an emotionally intense experience and there were a couple of times I almost lost my cool - not really from their perspectives but more from their argument style. Staying on topic and directly answering the prompts and our side’s questions/rebuttals was not a strong suit for the other side. I will say that 3 out of the 4 of them ended up becoming friends of mine. The LGBTQ side has our own response video to this on my channel (recorded immediately after filming) if you are interested in that and I have a solo reaction coming out soon that I am currently editing. I really use *my* critical thinking brain on that and so I would be interested in your feedback. Are you a fellow “city of Angels” resident? That’s awesome! We should collab sometime! Enjoy the rest of your weekend, sir! 🥰 P.S. I didn’t step forward on the first prompt only because the word “queer” was used and that’s not how I personally identify, therefore I felt like it would have been disingenuous for me to step forward. I explained that once I finally did step forward as a “disagreer” but they cut that out of the official version. It will be in my solo reaction though! ❤
God creates some people gay and that is medically proven. Happy to explain. I was a Baptist Pastor. I was married to my very accepting wife for 51 years before she passed. I am not sexually active, BUT I AM GAY, medically proven during electronic shock therapy as part of 13 years of reparative therapy. My straight marriage did NOT change my being gay, AT ALL. I am happy to remain single now. Too old now. But I STRONGLY support same sex marriage.
I cannot thank you enough for talking about the hypersexualization in the gay community. It really makes you feel invalid when you're asexual because there will always be people telling you you don't belong because of that fact.
It’s rather frustrating that at no point no one said, “Why tf should we care about what the bible says?! No one has ever demonstrated that it is indeed the word of god.” Like, freaking seriously. A book that promotes slavery isn’t a book we should be looking toward for any kind of guidance.
Please quote where Scripture promotes slavery. You don’t get to drop a tired talking point without receipts. Scripture saying if you have a slave you have treat them as you would treat yourself because you and the slave are the same in God’s eyes is not remotely the same thing as saying slavery is a good thing. Acknowledging something happens and discussing it is not the same thing as saying it’s good. It’s called critical thinking. You should try it sometime.
I gave up on that video only a few minutes into it a week or so ago. As soon as the god and jesus stuff emerged! Being Australian it amazes me how strong the bible belt is in America. Not that we don't have religion here in Australia but you seem to have it far worse. Particularly in a video like that. And with the self righteous and anti gay stance the American religion and all religions for that matter take! The simplistic views of sin comes from a simple minded view dating back to tribal elders creating a fantasy to proliferate the tribe, it's inhabitants, their behaviour and wellbeing. The main thing I see in your analysis of the video is the feeble mindedness of all the simplistic thinking and thought processes they all possess they have learned from religion. Thank you Jack great work and analysis. Keep up the good work! xxx
Religion in the US is not homophobic. People are homophobic and cherry pick and make up verses in the Bible (I’m talking about Christianity because it’s the most common) to support their views. Religious leaders also cherry pick and convince people that the LGBTQIA+ community is bad.
@@Duckspawn69 As someone who was raised as a hindu, our scriptures acknowledge the existence of not only gay ppl, but also trans ppl (though they are termed as "tritiya prakriti" which translates to third nature). Transwomen in particular are thought to be bearers of good-will and blessings :D The main goal of Hinduism is to attain "moksha", or enlightment - and this goal doesn't discriminate between people of different sexualities or genders. Unfortunately, Hindu marriage is done with the goal of procreation (according to the Dharma Shashtra), so it doesn't recognise same-sex marriage.
really good analysis, with the usual Jack intellect and witty humor thrown in just in time to save us from spitting up at some of the other side's answers. xo
It’s nice to see you still posting videos. I started watching you in 2015 I think? Not long after high school I came out of the closet and watching your content about your struggles with the gay world was very relatable to me. You’re a very down to earth guy, and I’m glad you’ve stayed that way. I’ve always had a big crush on you, and I think of you as an ideal.
@@EnriquePascual1989 Biology, not society, dictates whether we are gender-typical or atypical, the extent to which we identify as the sex we were born as, and the partners we are sexually attracted to. When sperm fertilizes an egg at conception, the baby will be either female or male. This biology will influence hormonal exposure in the womb, as well as the child’s resulting gender identity. At about seven weeks, if the embryo is male, the testes will begin to secrete testosterone, masculinizing the brain. If the embryo is female, this process does not occur. This exposure to testosteron has a powerful effect on the ways in which male and female brains grow before the brain has finished developing in the utero. Testosterone exposure alters the programming of neural stem cells responsible for brain growth, leading to differences between the sexes. Gay men have similarities in the brain to heterosexual women(because of lower exposure to testosterone in the utero) that make them on average more female typical than the average heterosexual man. It the same with homosexual women they have similarities in the brain to heterosexual men and are more male typical than you average heterosexual woman because of higher exposure. People who are gender atypical are more likely to be homosexual. The organizational effects of hormones on the fetal brain prior to birth have permanent effects. Researchers across a a variety of animal models (including rats, mice, and ferrets, since it’s not ethical for us to use human fetuses as test subjects), changing the amount of testosterone that an animal is exposed to changes whether they are sexually interested in same-sex or opposite-sex mates. In animals, homosexuality in females is often attributed to an overabundance of male hormones - androgens - in the womb, while male homosexuality results from a lack of these. Studies involving girls with congenital adrenal hyperplasia are exposed to higher than usual levels of testosterone in the womb. Roughly 3 percent of girls with CAH will grow up to identify as male,10 and of those who don’t, a large proportion will identify as lesbian. The opposite is also true; children whose mothers took anti-androgenic medication (which lowers their testosterone levels) during pregnancy tend to prefer female-typical toys. Rough-and-tumble play, which is behavior typically seen in little boys, is less common in gay men and more common in lesbian women, due to lesser and greater masculinization of the brain, respectively. Sexual orientation is inborn, innate, fixed and unchangeble. Attraction is the most accurate representation of a person’s true orientation because identity and behavior can be context-dependent. Scientific studies have confirmed sex differences in the brain that lead to differences in our interests and behavior. These differences are not due to the postnatal environment or societal messaging. .gendered interests are predicted by testosterone exposure in utero. Higher levels are associated with male-typical interests and behaviours, regardless of whether the baby is male or female. These include a preference for mechanically interesting objects and systemizing occupations in adulthood. ;Lower levels are associated with a preference for people orientated activities and occupations. stemming from evolutionary roots. Women. who are tasked with the role of bearing children, evolved to be more sociable, empathic, and people focused, while men, as hunter-gatherers, were rewarded for strong visuopatial skills and ability to build and use tools. That's why science, technology, engerneering and mathematics fields tend to be dominated by men. More recent brain imaging studies reported sexual orientation‐related differences in cortical regions devoted to vision, some asymmetries between the two hemispheres and differences in the thickness of the cortex at the front of the brain. Overall, these specific brain regions in homosexual males tended to be similar to heterosexual women (more female‐typical), while these same brain regions homosexual women tended to be similar to heterosexual men (more male‐typicalGay men and straight women share similar traits-most notably in the size of their brains and the activity of the amygdala-an area of the brain tied to emotion, anxiety and aggression. The same is true for heterosexual men and lesbians. MRI scans showed that straight men had asymmetric brains, with the right hemisphere slightly larger - and the gay women also had this asymmetry. Gay men, meanwhile, had symmetrical brains like those of straight women. They used PET scans to measure blood flow to the amygdala, a part of the brain involved in processing emotions and governs fear and aggression. The images revealed how the amygdala connected to other parts of the brain, giving clues to how this might influence behaviour. From previous studies, we know that these connections usually link to different areas in the brains of men and women, and sprout from different hemispheres -the right in men, and the left in women. That was the pattern that they saw the straight volunteers from their study, but the homosexuals showed the reverse pattern. People of different sexual orientations also differ in certain types of cognitive ability. When listening to sounds, straight men tend to have a bias for their right ear, which both gay men and straight women lack. They also tend to outperform gay men and straight women in tests of spatial awareness, where success depends on a part of the brain - the parietal cortex - which is usually larger in men than in women. Heterosexual men perform better, on average, than gay men on tests such as mental rotation, line orientation, and spatial navigation. In general, the performance of gay men is similar to that of heterosexual women. One meta-analysis reported that gay men performed like heterosexual women on both male-favouring (e.g., spatial cognition) and female-favouring (e.g., verbal fluency) cognitive tests, while lesbian women tended to perform like heterosexual men on male-favouring tests. The cross-sex shift shows that gay men and women will show patterns of cognitive function similar to their opposite-sex heterosexual counterparts. A large body of evidence about psychological, behavioural, and cognitive traits. In straight men and lesbians, the amygdala (which influences our emotional reactions to stress) connects to the sensorimotor cortex and the striatum, parts of the brain involved in the “fight or flight” response. But in straight women and gay men, the amygdala’s connections feed into the anterior cingulate cortex and the subcallosum. These areas influence our moods and have been implicated in mood-related disorders such as anxiety and depression. Neuroimaging studies comparing heterosexual and gay men and women have reported various differences in structure and function. For example, the volumetric patterns of brain activity in both lesbian women and gay men, or grey matter volumes in the perirhinal cortex in lesbian women. Some of these effects seem to be unique to sexual orientation, such as cortical thickness in the orbitofrontal and visual areas as well as the anatomy of the corpus callosum in gay men. Several small-scale neuroimaging studies have also suggested cross-sex shifts in homosexual men and women in brain responses to putative sex-specific pheromonal compounds. the anterior hypothalamus was smaller in homosexual men than in heterosexual men, and no different from heterosexual women. the hypothalamus was more than twice as large in straight men as in gay men; in gay men, it was closer in size to that of straight women. The hypothalamus is responsible for the four F’s: feeding, fighting, fleeing, and fornicating. these finding suggested that gay men’s brains were partially feminized, and also, that the foundation of sexual orientation is established by biology.
Functional MRI has shown differences in patterns of brain activation between gay and straight men when viewing gay and straight pornography. The network of brain regions that are activated when gay men look at gay porn is the same network activated when straight men look at straight porn, in regions like the thalamus, which regulates sexual behavior, and the anterior cingulate, which regulates emotion. Men typically display significantly greater physiological responses to sexual stimuli depicting members of their preferred gender category and stated sexual orientation. Stimulus features necessary to evoke genital arousal are much less specific in women than in men. heterosexual men are more aroused by female than by male sexual stimuli, whereas homosexual men show the opposite pattern. The correspondences of sexual arousal indices were similar for Heterosexual and homosexual men . These findings are in line with other research suggesting that some aspects of the neurological organization of male sexual arousal are independent of sexual orientation, and therefore expressed similarly in heterosexual and homosexual men. They also found the same pattern in post op transwomen who were monosexual(because they are of course genetically male regardless of their identity) Some homosexual women were marginally more aroused to the same sex than the other sex. In addition, the correspondence of their arousal indices were more male-typical, that is, stronger, than for other women. Male-typical sexual arousal in females is likely be due to elevated exposure to prenatal androgen that affects postnatal masculinized behaviours). These prenatal influences are possibly responsible for why homosexual women are more male-typical than heterosexual women in other ways, including their motor behaviours, voice patterns, physical appearance, and self-concepts ). The most masculine-behaving women may therefore have most male typical sexual responses. Men tend to be very category specific, if they're into women, they really like women and not into guys.. if they're into guys they're really into guys and not into women. Female sexuality is much more fluid than men. Thats why bisexuality is more common in women and there is more gay men than bisexual men while it's the other way around in women. It''s also why there is more heterosexual men than heterosexual women. That's why paraphilias(unusual sexual interests) are more common in men. Research suggests that paraphilia is maybe akin to a sexual orientation. It's the same idea conceptually as being gay, it's someone's preference and it can't be changed and it's with them from a very early on. With the sexual orientation women tend to be more flexible with their sexual preferences. So if they have a partner who's very kinky they might be into whatever he's into, but then if she's with someone who's less kinky it might not be as much of a problem. Whereas if it's a man who's really into something, if his partner's not into it he's always going to be into it, he's just gonna have to hide it. Women's genital arousal is an automatic response to sexual stimuli, whereas men's genital arousal is dependent upon stimulus features specific to their sexual interests. Women showed little category specificity on either the genital or the subjective measure. Women experienced strong genital arousal to both male and female sexual stimuli. category-specific pattern, demonstrating sexual arousal patterns play fundamentally different roles in male and female sexuality. For most men, regardless of their sexual orientation, the relationship between their sexual arousal indices was substantially stronger than for most women . These findings were consistent with the literature on sex differences in the agreement of genital arousal with subjective arousal. In addition, physiological sexual arousal and sexual orientation were more strongly linked in men than women. It's hypothesized that males might have evolved to coordinate their sexual arousal and attraction indices more strongly than women because it aids them in building their sexual orientation towards relevant sexual targets. Perhaps, then, men’s, more than women’s, reactions are an integrated part of their sexual response system that involves the synchronization of other aspects of their sexual arousal. These factors could include, for example, the activation of the visual cortex or limbic system the time spent viewing relevant stimuli, or their temperature regulation during sexual arousal. For bisexual men, the coordination of arousal indices was weaker, thus, more female-typical than for other men. Hence, present findings for bisexual men indicated that if the general sex differences in the correspondence of arousal indices are reversed within one sex, it affects more than one aspect of the expression of sexual arousal. Bisexual men were, however, in their physiological reactions not particularly responsive to their less arousing sex; yet, this finding fell within the expected range of previously reported effects. Hence, in general, bisexual men responded stronger to their less arousing sex than other men. Moreover, bisexual men were less responsive in their physiological reactions to their more arousing sex compared to other men. There was a similar finding by measuring men’s arousal via pupil dilation in bisexual men in regard to lowered physiological responses to the preferred (or more arousing) sex. Bisexual mens sexual arousal was similar to heterosexual women, they have bisexual physiological responses in the sense that they are somewhat (but less) aroused to either sex. Consequently, they are less discriminative in their sexual arousal than either heterosexual or homosexual men. Women’s variable sexual arousal, as compared to men’s, could be due to the fact that female sexual attraction is more strongly affected by situational, cultural, and environmental circumstances. If bisexual men are more female-typical than other men, then, perhaps, they are more influenced by these external factors, resulting in a less specific arousal pattern. Such variability within bisexual men could in part explain inconsistent findings for their sexual arousal to men and women. Notably, bisexual men’s subjective responses were more consistent with their sexual orientation than were their physiological responses). Because subjective arousal and sexual orientation were assessed by self-report, it is possibly that participants matched their responses to these measures. Physiological sexual reactions, however, are likely less under participants control than are their subjective responses, and can therefore lead to stronger discrepancies with someone’s self-identified sexual orientation.
As a Christian, I want to point out and actually give some fact to you Jack, you said 1BC or 1AD, whenever the Bible was written...not exactly. The Old Testament was written over a period of time, hundreds of years. The New Testament has some timing problems - the 4 Gospels, are the story of Jesus told by 4 different men. Mark is considered the "hardest" of these Gospels because the 3 others glossed over some of the stuff Mark put in his version. The Gospels were written something like 75-80 years after Jesus died. Back in those days people only lived to be like 40 years old. So two generations passed before Jesus story was told by the Gospel writers. The other New Testament books are based on letters that were written from imprisoned Christians etc. The Episcopal Church, while being a very biblical church, embraces the mystery of the Bible. We as Episocpals are not required to believe every single word of the book and take them literally. Truth is no denomination does...if they did they would have to sell their 14 year old daughters to a neighboring country (yes that is a rule within a few verses of the part in Leviticus that says not to be gay). To use the Bible as a source of information that informs you to hate others, or to feel bad about your sexuality, or to create a caste system that allows you to judge others negatively is not how one should interact with the book. the Bible can cause us all to think, and to ponder, but it is no way the be all end all, and should never be used in a "because the Bible says" kind of way when belittling someone else, as that argument is ridiculous to anyone that doesn't believe a single word of it to begin with. And to those of us that do believe parts of the Bible, when I hear the words "but the Bible says" just before someone says something shitty about someone else I immediately think of all the things the Bible says that this person would find some way to argue their way out of - my favorite go to is "Oh yeah, in the same book you quote about sexuality, the book says that you will literally go to hell if you wear two different types of fabric on your body at the same time. That cotton wool blend you have on right now is a ticket straight to hell in a literal interpretation of the Bible." the Bible also says that every single Sunday you should burn a bull on your altar...did you do that this week? Did your neighbors appreciate that? Did anyone call the police? the Bible should not be interacted with in any way other than with an open mind and an open heart. Not everything in there is true, or real, and certainly does not apply to our understanding of the world around us here in 2024. It is good to interact with it in a studious way that can lead to a deepingin understanding of ourselves, not others. May the lord be with you.
Welcome back, Daddy Jack and I love your reaction to ex-gay testimony on this video, I love it, I'm proud of you for being my idol in the world, Gay forever!! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
We rarely get to hear from you anymore, but when you do post, it's always a masterpiece. You were the first early pioneer RUclips sensation in the beautiful and brilliant gay youth category. You broke the glass ceiling for others. You are the authentic original. Everyone after you is a spinoff from the social media doors you opened for them. In large part, they owe their success to you, because you are the role model who proved that an intelligent young gay person can publicly be his authentic self, and his natural talent will attract a large appreciative audience. You are a RUclips legend with entertainment production skills that are worthy of mass media platforms. It's sweet of you to make an occasional return visit back to the platform where you started, just to give us the pleasant surprise of some exclusive new material from your ageless gifted mind. ❤️
Jack - haven't seen you in a while - you look great! Okay - here I go - I am a Christian. I am very active in my church (altar ministry, church leadership, church treasurer). My husband is also active in our church. We are Episcopal, which is Catholic without all the judgement and guilt. Our sexuality is not a big deal at all at our church. We get to participate fully. All the pretty liturgy, all the good things that Christianity can teach us, like loving everyone no matter what...respecting the dignity of all others...forgiving others is the same as being forgiven, and forgiveness is a journey. God is in all things, and God is good. Churches that teach people that ANYONE else is not the same, or is not worthy of the love of God for ANY reason at all is wrong in my opinion. How can we celebrate the love that God teaches us if we are told we have to hate ourselves first? It is ridiculous. The ex-gays are living examples of the self loathing that I went through before I came out. Go ahead and hate yourself in your church. At my church we will celebrate everyone, and show love and compassion to all other people. Because that is what God is, God is love, and is not about pointing at others and excluding them from the mystery of faith. Making people feel unworthy of the love of God is exactly what God tells us we shouldn't do.

As a gay man I do not like the Pride movement as it is today. I think it has become more of a spektical and less about being accepted. Also I’m not proud about being gay but I’m also not ashamed. Being gay isn’t what I am, it’s who I am and I have no control over that. I can’t be proud about something I have no control over. I also do not see myself as being part of the LGBTQ community. It does not represent me at all. And I may be showing my age, but when did queer start being acceptable. Queer in my day was a derogatory word used to insult gay people. I’m don’t ranting now.
Lgbtq community refers to everyone that is gay lesbian, bisexual, transgender. The gay community is too vast. Representation of the lgbqt community is jow you interact with it and what you make it. I never understand this " I don't feel represented by the lgbtq community " even though there is a vast array and even niches nothing the lgbtq community
@@anniesolomon4876 the community representation is again vast. Lgbtq community only refers to the population of non heterosexual cis people. The community has a varying array of ideas and beliefs. This isn't just a club peopel subscribe and apply too. Same goes for any community
Great commentary Jack, just as @GilbertGTV; I was rolling off your edits! The explanation of the Bible and further in the comments, illustrated that the story of Jesus was written not in his present, but as many as 3-4 generations later and society had changed over those years, so the story told was different than if had been written in Jesus present.
lol, you were thinking about the pencils instead of my dashing good looks and charm?! jk. The pencils aren't that sharp though haha. Also, thanks for watching!
This was such a great video Jack. I always love your sense of humor. The boxing ref, the scientist, the silly award and swinging the baseball bat. You know how to put it all together . Five out of five stars. 👍👍😂😂💯💯
The only reason why the Bible forbid it was so the Jews could separate themselves from the animal kingdom and their “pagan” neighbors. Logically there is nothing g actually wrong with being LBGTQ. Love your neighbors as you love yourselves.
Don’t pay attention to that, people with that mindset are usually closeted and they’ll think up some bs dribble to make themselves think they are straight.
Hey Jack, does this mean you're back on RUclips? Will it be regular episodes? I follow you on OF, but you've been MIA for a while. I'll be watching RUclips. I always missed your RUclips stories when you left for OFs. Good wishes, and best of luck. Neal
I like how you just took their video and played it- set a camera up to record you watching their video- and uploaded that as your own content, taking in a ridiculous amount of ad revenue in the process 😂 Power to you, Jack- my beautiful gay post-twink vision of my ex in the future 😅 (see if you can make that make sense! Lmao)
Well, one can certainly stop ACTING gay, but BEING gay?? Nah...i think that's where exgay groups make their mistake. If a gay person doesnt wanna act gay, that's their choice, but don't then enter into a str8 relationship, because it's unfair to the partner and any kids when things eventually blow up, and they will.
We just met & I love you. I’m 64 ( will you still love?) you need to understand IMO, that you are addressing questions as if they were lightning. They’re great questions, & they deserve their own moment. Love you, there are no gods.
Hello Jack. I hope you are doing well. I watched the video and it was interesting to hear your thoughts on the video. I watched it a few weeks ago and was thinking really? I appreciate you pointing out the things I was thinking as well. Very good observations on your parts. I appreciated your honesty and opinions. You are funny also. Please take care and keep being you.
I just think it's interesting how the ex-gays allude to being manipulated or tempted into a lifestyle but don't even acknowledge how their religion could also be manipulating them. There's a cognitive dissonance that needs to be worked through in therapy, not confession. Everything has its good and bad sides and sometimes we need help figuring out which is which, but when the basis of badness relies on the moral structure of a mythology presented in a book, you've lost the argument. Otherwise, what's to stop someone from referencing the morality of Cat in the Hat in an argument?
100% just watched this to stare at your jawline Jack lol. It's hard to watch as a now out Exvangelical who 100% would say everything that all these people say (except that homosexuality causes earthquakes cos f*** that) at one point in my life
@@josuelima488 I mainly was referring to Gay Liberals vs Gay conservative videos, BUT they did do an after meeting from the gay side and what they opinionated after they recorded with Jubilees.
The "former gays" did really well in this episode. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw Samuel. I've been following him for a long time and it was a surprise to see him in this episode. The others also did very well. I felt very well represented by them. The most impressive thing is that they never met in person, but they were in incredible harmony.
In one question they talk about whether beingg gay/trans is “scientific” or not but then in the next question they just ramble on an on about “demonic spirits” “the fruit of God” or whatever woo-eey term they have now. We should ask them whether those are scientifically proven as well. Can’t stand these people.
I’m offended by a liberal bring their children to pride events. Pride is supposed to before gay adults who are celebrating their sexuality not your neighbours children that you have to explain things that they don’t need to know about until they become sexually active😢
This is a total straw man. Nobody takes their ‘neighbour’s children’ (learn grammar btw) to pride. Furthermore, people in school are taught about heterosexual relationships and nobody cares, it’s just homophobia which is driving your attitude. Pride events are not inherently sexual in nature, they primarily exist to promote equal rights for LGBTQIA+ people, who are killed and thrown in prison for something which they cannot control.
Thank you for discussing sex in the gay community. I joined a drag family not long after leaving an abusive relationship. I had voiced I was uncomfortable doing fetish themed shows and had a panic attack when I woke up with my ex drag mom naked next to me. I was told to “suck it up because everyone else was cool with it” I left that drag family, and am in a good place now, but it felt weird being in this community where I had felt so much comfort, then being told to suck up my trauma
I do think pride is starting to lose meaning, like it has done a lot of good, but i feel like some people take things to far and LIKEWISE some dont take it far enough? Its hard to exactly explain and i hate generalizing it, but like i think we as a community need to set boundaries and stuff for pride but idk, even then thats hard to do bc cooperation is difficult so idk 🤷♂️
Watch the movie "Fair Haven" (two words) with Michael Grant and Josh Green.....If you have not done a video on that movie Id love to see your take. Its a beautiful love story about a young man who is sent to "conversion" therapy after his mother dies and how he overcomes the people who "only want whats best " for him. I won't spoil it further....I think anyone interested in this topic will love it as well..watch it from the heart, its a touching, well written , directed and acted piece well worth the time.
Oy vey. To begin Jack, you have never looked as beautiful as you do in this video. You are a major heart throb and I shall always appreciate you and your videos. I am a gay, hard lined atheist who looks down on organized religion knowing it’s a con and fantasy as if written by J. K. Rowling herself. I would never have agreed to interface with these people because it would give them recognition. There is no god! Never has been! Never will be! All children are born atheists until someone lies to them. Keep it out of sexuality as it’s the main reason for gay hate. As soon as the rest of you realize god does not exist then you can begin to be yourself. Best, Colin.

So many people who come out to their parents get this reaction and that's the reason why they get this reaction, their parents are just bi and think they've been healed.
And not for both of us?
I hope I can eventually come out to my parents, but it’s hard being in such a homophobic family /:

Hi Jack! Thanks so much for reacting to our Jubilee episode! 🌈 I really enjoyed what you had to say! You are a critical thinker, and I love it!! And you are hilarious! I was ROLLING off your edits! 💀💀😂😂
As you can probably tell by my facial expressions (well both Abigail and mine), this was an emotionally intense experience and there were a couple of times I almost lost my cool - not really from their perspectives but more from their argument style.

It’s rather frustrating that at no point no one said, “Why tf should we care about what the bible says?! No one has ever demonstrated that it is indeed the word of god.” Like, freaking seriously. A book that promotes slavery isn’t a book we should be looking toward for any kind of guidance.
Exactly!!!
Absolutely 💯

Abrahamic religions are just so beyond cringe at this point.
There’s a lot if fantasy in their religious authorities as if they were written by J.K. Rowling!

The main goal of Hinduism is to attain "moksha", or enlightment - and this goal doesn't discriminate between people of different sexualities or genders.
Unfortunately, Hindu marriage is done with the goal of procreation (according to the Dharma Shashtra), so it doesn't recognise same-sex marriage.

They also found the same pattern in post op transwomen who were monosexual(because they are of course genetically male regardless of their identity)
Some homosexual women were marginally more aroused to the same sex than the other sex.
I'm 20 I'm gay and i'm Muslim i only hate being gay cuz my family is homophobic😔

@@hopeintruth5119 Just cause a community represents you doesn't mean that you gotta join
@@anniesolomon4876 the community representation is again vast. Lgbtq community only refers to the population of non heterosexual cis people. The community has a varying array of ideas and beliefs. This isn't just a club peopel subscribe and apply too. Same goes for any community
You cannot stop being gay but you can stop having sex. Just because you don't have sex though doesnt make you not gay.
SERAPH OF THE END?! literally started my bl journey and mika and yuu will always be my number 1 ship of all time
Great commentary Jack, just as @GilbertGTV; I was rolling off your edits!
The explanation of the Bible and further in the comments, illustrated that the story of Jesus was written not in his present, but as many as 3-4 generations later and society had changed over those years, so the story told was different than if had been written in Jesus present.
Throughout this video, all I kept thinking was: “that sure is a lot of sharp pencils in that cup”. 😳
lol, you were thinking about the pencils instead of my dashing good looks and charm?! jk. The pencils aren't that sharp though haha. Also, thanks for watching!
@@jmerridewstop reading my mind! 😎
This was such a great video Jack. I always love your sense of humor. The boxing ref, the scientist, the silly award and swinging the baseball bat. You know how to put it all together . Five out of five stars. 👍👍😂😂💯💯
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D and haha, I can't help myself from adding my dumb humor. I appreciate you watching!
Jack I have always loved your prospective and your attitude - trust me bro
trust me bro 😂😂 thanks so much though, and thanks for watching!
I never understood quaking until I found out gays caused earthquake. I am now reformed
I'm very curious what Jubilee would think of me, a gay Christian. I feel like they'd have a field day with me being on their channel
to point out how absurd this subject is . . just turn the question around: "can you STOP BEING STR8?"
Jack....early Damned good job to being so close to 400,000 subs. We are all proud of you. Ken
This is exactly how I feel about that vid too! You are speaking my mind Jack
I have never cared about ex-gays because I don't think they exist... but that tight shirt is real.
I used to watch your videos like 10 years ago when I was still a child. You’ve barely aged which is incredible.
The only reason why the Bible forbid it was so the Jews could separate themselves from the animal kingdom and their “pagan” neighbors. Logically there is nothing g actually wrong with being LBGTQ. Love your neighbors as you love yourselves.
I’m glad you watched this for us because I couldn’t bring myself to watch this. I’d get too pissed off for my own good ❤️
"sin" causes earthquakes? That is some ignorant trash.
Don’t pay attention to that, people with that mindset are usually closeted and they’ll think up some bs dribble to make themselves think they are straight.
Genuinely makes me happy to see you are still creating content. I always enjoy your Videos jack insight and and very funny ❤
Hey Jack, does this mean you're back on RUclips? Will it be regular episodes? I follow you on OF, but you've been MIA for a while. I'll be watching RUclips. I always missed your RUclips stories when you left for OFs. Good wishes, and best of luck. Neal
No kids should not be at pride at all with all the adult sexual things we see at events
4:00 fr like I would lose brain cells listening to everyone else just wake me up when you have a question for me
Do these ex-Christians realise they don’t need God, they just need a therapist, or a shred of common sense 😂
I missed you jack how have you been doing. 😊😊😉😉
I have been doing well! Missed you all too! :) Hope you've been doing good since I last saw you guys!
I like how you just took their video and played it- set a camera up to record you watching their video- and uploaded that as your own content, taking in a ridiculous amount of ad revenue in the process 😂
Power to you, Jack- my beautiful gay post-twink vision of my ex in the future 😅 (see if you can make that make sense! Lmao)
Great play by play Jack You always make me laugh & in this case some deep thoughts 🤔 ROCKIN the Tshirt BTW 😎
🤗🤗Nice to see you back on youtube
love your vids please post more frequently
Well, one can certainly stop ACTING gay, but BEING gay?? Nah...i think that's where exgay groups make their mistake. If a gay person doesnt wanna act gay, that's their choice, but don't then enter into a str8 relationship, because it's unfair to the partner and any kids when things eventually blow up, and they will.
We just met & I love you. I’m 64 ( will you still love?) you need to understand IMO, that you are addressing questions as if they were lightning. They’re great questions, & they deserve their own moment. Love you, there are no gods.
can we talk about that shirt? Jack that shirt looks soooo good on you! Or maybe you just look soo good, lol. Glad to see you again
Oh my goodness Jack. You looking Gorgeous. Love. I've missed you so much. 🤗😚
Those ex gays still sound hella gay lol
The simple answer is no,you canot stop being gay.you will always be gay no matter what you say.
100% just watched this to stare at your jawline Jack lol.
It's hard to watch as a now out Exvangelical who 100% would say everything that all these people say (except that homosexuality causes earthquakes cos f*** that) at one point in my life
Missed your face hope you’re doing good. 💖
You should see what happened outside of the video. As to why I don’t look at Jubilee videos very much anymore.
I’m curious now, what happened?
@@josuelima488 I mainly was referring to Gay Liberals vs Gay conservative videos, BUT they did do an after meeting from the gay side and what they opinionated after they recorded with Jubilees.
The "former gays" did really well in this episode. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw Samuel. I've been following him for a long time and it was a surprise to see him in this episode. The others also did very well. I felt very well represented by them. The most impressive thing is that they never met in person, but they were in incredible harmony.
I remember when I came out and then my house fell into a sinkhole. Really tragic.
Agree with your opinions, Jack.
Pride these days is overly sex centered though kids should be educated in that matter so they won't struggle with accepting themselves
Glad o see you Jack
Thank you for discussing sex in the gay community. I joined a drag family not long after leaving an abusive relationship. I had voiced I was uncomfortable doing fetish themed shows and had a panic attack when I woke up with my ex drag mom naked next to me. I was told to “suck it up because everyone else was cool with it”
I left that drag family, and am in a good place now, but it felt weird being in this community where I had felt so much comfort, then being told to suck up my trauma
Yeah they women that are with these ex gays are gonna become very familiar with the grindr notification sound.
How tolerant.
"These people's experience doesnt align with my belief, so it is invalid and they're stupid."
I don't have to respect your beliefs. I'll respect your right to hold those beliefs. But the beliefs themselves command no inherent respect.
I love your videos!
Thanks so much! :D
It's simple: not every HAS to engage in the things that they may like. However, leaving flames unchecked could lead to a housefire.
Well said, Jack!
Jack. You’ve been getting bigger. Height and weight now bro. Measure those guns. Wow. 💪😊
