Hi, I use a similar method to get through a course, including Reddit and FB, but I immediately jump to the PA. The PA, if aligned with the OA, allows you to have a targeted focus on areas that you’ll likely be tested on for the OA. The one thing I can say that is sometimes a downside to this method of going to Reddit & FB is that sometimes I allow the feedback regarding course difficulty from some students get in my head, which leads to over studying or doubting my readiness. Thank you for taking the time to do the video and providing your perspective with the goal of helping your WGU peers. I’ll be back for more of your insight and wish you success in your journey.

I’ve graduated already with an AS-T for Business Administration & Economics from a Community college and transferred to a university but dropped out because of my mother, she had to get emergency surgery and I’m her prime care taker. Im putting her first. So I can’t take care of her as easily if I do in person classes so I’m looking to transfer to WGU and finish my bachelors in Accounting but not sure how to go about that. I submitted my application already though and since their doing it for free rn with the transcripts too, I’m just waiting to hear from them but kind of nervous to be rejected 😔 Is WGU actually accredited and will employers and cpa-firms accept it? Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance 🙏 🤲
Yes its accredited. I just enrolled but there are many videos and posts about the school out there.
Yes wgu is fully accredited. I have friends that are in the accounting programs and they told me of the promotions they have gotten
Thank you 🙏
You're super welcome night owl
When you took the objective exam over the second time would you say it was just like the first objective exam you took? Did you find both final exams similar when you the in any way?
When you have to retake an exam it has different questions. Sometimes it's similar and other times it's way different. It's really a roll of the dice
Need links to the Facebook you need mentioned. Don't want to have to interact too much with Facebook. Thanks in advance

I know it's a question that gets aaked a lot, I have about 9 business/IT classes that I can take at SDC since I already finished all possible sophia classes, but it seems like SDC is very lengthy with quizzes, assignments and finals. at times people say its harder than WGU, what do you guys think? What business classes do you think are easier at SDC vs WGU? Of course I still have yet to start WGU amd complete the non transferable courses for my degree. Any suggestions? These are my options for SDC: I need to complete:
Sorry I never went to SCD
SDC
Do you have to take classes in order or can you choice what classes you want to do first?
They go in the order your student mentor gives them to you.
I'm having such a hard time its ridiculous, I've been to school 3 other times already, and was successfully and now that I've decided to get another degree , its making me feel some kinda way. Today I took an exam today and failed it, it may have been 5-7 questions that was on the study guide really discouraging
What class is messing you up?
I’m on my 3rd attempts on d265 critical think. Impact bias for the life of me I can’t figure it out.

Thanks for sharing. Is this 100% online?
Yes absolutely 100% online. And at your own pace, in my opinion best college around
So do you have the option to take the test and pass and be done?? Skipping the papers??
Nope some classes require a test and others require papers. It's about 50/50
I’m considering starting WGU next year. Are all the exams proctored?
Yes all exams are proctored. Best of luck with starting. WGU has been worth every penny for me.
How does WGU compare with Coursera? Are the class materials better?
I never took any classes from them
How were you able to major in business and minor in I.T. at WGU?
Check out WGU and see the many different degrees wgu has to offer
@@live42Day Yes, the only buisness/I.T. program I see is Buisness Administration with I.T. Management?
Thank you sir.
You are welcome
HORRIBLE when the test matches NOTHING covered in the book or class assignments. What the hell!
It is frustrating but check out reddit for inspiration
Can I transfer credit before admission? Or after admission I can transfer some credit?
I believe it is before. Call wgu and ask to speak with an admissions counselor
What kind of jobs can you expect with a business degree, salary etc? I was planning on an IT/ networking/ cyber security degree but I figured I could get some certs instead and get a job so I think a business degree is more valuable since you most banker jobs require a degree? Correct me if I'm wrong.
Right After graduation I got a 55k salaried position. This was actually a pay cut for me because I was a top paid truck driver. However I have a much better work life balance. I'm expecting to earn 80+in the next 5 years. I'm currently working on my MBA
I work as a logistics manager
@@live42Day Are you getting that MBA from WGU?
@@thumpertorque_ yes I am. I just started on September 1st. And just submitted my last task of my first course. I am hoping to have passed my first course
I know this might sound silly but when retaking the OA is it the same exact questions ?
No it's usually different.
I want to pursue a masters . I graduated from a big ten school with a bachelors . I don’t know how credible this school looks on resume that is biggest thing for pursing it
I got a promotion right after getting my bachelor's. And I'll finish my MBA in 3 months. It's like anything else you still have to sell yourself. The degree is just a box to check. The biggest difference is that you will be missing out on networking with piers that could help you get higher paying jobs in the future.
@@live42DayIt's been 3 months. You get your masters buddy? I start this January.
@@StellarDakota Hello. I actually started my capstone today. I'm hoping to finish my MBA 3 weeks or less. That's my Christmas wish.

Every person is different. It took me 2 years
You can have a minor in wgu?
My degree plan is
Bachelor of science business administration information technology
Hi thanks for this informative video. My question is what Bachelors Degree are you working on. I am thinking of doing the Information technology management but I need someone to who is already doing the degree for more insight in related to the causes, and job related after graduation. So I don’t know if you have any information on that degree I will appreciate if you can share your information experience with me. Thank you.
Hello I'm in the bachelors Business administration Information technology program
I have 13 courses left for graduation. I have not looked for a job yet because it's going to be a career change and I'm in the process of building a home. After I close on my mortgage I'll be looking for a new job

Thanks for quick response. So it's same as IT management right?
And what classes do you think will be tough to tackle
@@samuelo.9761 That's hard to say. Everyone is different with Thier strengths and weaknesses. I personally haven't found a single class that I couldn't finish ahead of schedule. Even the more challenging classes can be done quickly if you discipline yourself and just get the work done
@@samuelo.9761 I believe it's the same course. Are you in the school of business or school of IT.
I'm in the school of business
Hello all I’m getting my bachelors in cloud computing from WGU. Has anyone done the cloud computing degree? If so, what resources did you use to accelerate your progress? Any help would be appreciated.
I'm sorry I didn't take that. I'm not sure
Did you end up taking this?
Do all the courses include a study guide?
Not all have study guides but all have something to follow.
@@live42Day Thanks, I am starting in probably February, after I finish my AA. I am nervous because I don't consider myself a great test taker.
What are your tips for essay requirements?
I highly recommend getting grammarly because a simple grammar mistake can cause your paper to get kicked back and it's always good to have a second pair of eyes, look at your paper. Also make your paper simple. Only answer the questions. Don't try to add too much extra information that could potentially get your paper kicked back. Simple is better
@@live42Day Appreciate the response!
Do you think it’s possible to pass 2 classes, 1 super hard one and 1 easier one in 23 days?
Yes absolutely, if you put in the work. What classes are you doing maybe I can help with tips

Hey, it worked. I have an MBA now. LoL get R done
You aren't really learning anything or observing knowlege by skimming over everything. It basically defeats the purpose of pursing a degree. You are better off just teaching yourself and obtain certifications on your own.
I decided what would be useful and spent extra time on those Subjects. It's served me well. I have two degrees and I've been promoted twice at work
@@live42Day I broke into I.T without a degree. I work with mostly RHEL today as a Linux Sysadmin. I think obtaining certifications and hands on projects is the quickest and cheapest way to advance your career in IT. There is an on going trend right now with many employers adapting skills based hiring over college degrees which is becoming the norm.
