Welcome to the beginning of old age. The doctor will ask you what are you doing when it hurts the most. Then the doctor will say, okay don't do that anymore.

You might want to get a diabities check it tends to attack your nerves and it tends to start in the feet particular the left I don’t know why but it may be a symptom of something bigger going on. Best bet just go to dr and get a full battery blood test and get checked for everything getting early diagnoses is better for prognosis pills are just bandaids you need to find out the underline issue. God luck bro GO TO DR!!!

Funny you said that, that was my first thought,I just didn't want to say anything upsetting, that's why I recommended a doctor. My friend was having foot problems ,and they found out he had diabetes.

Yup I have a history of my family having diabetes I check up more then the average person do to my dad his dad my uncle my cousin all ended up with it. He really needs to get on a good diet. And without coverage it’s tough but to go and get blood test won’t kill your bank account it’s either that or the inevitable faith of diabetes it’s scary but awareness is power I’m glad you agree I though I was going to get hated on for being blunt but I strongly believe he may be heading there and hope he gets help and I hope I’m wrong. I have a hillbilly Yankee idea. Buy some thicker foam insoles - the entire foot kind. Trim off the area where your foot hurts. If you're not flat-footed, add a foam arch support.
Obviously, the idea is to put more weight pressure on all other parts of your foot & less on the part that hurts.
It's not a solution, but it might relieve the pressure some. I suggest doing both shoes so you're walking straight.
I would think all this would come in less than $30. Experiment.

Hey Cutlerylover, I've had similar problems in my feet before and i'm also a bigger guy. I ended up going to a podiatrist and he told me i have Plantar Fasciitis. He recomended i buy an insole made specifically for Plantar Fasciitis and it really helped me. The insoles were only 30 or 40$ and i didnt have to do anything else to cure my foot pain. Just a heads up, might be worth a shot before you pull the trigger on spending hundreds to get it looked at. Take care.

You know? First of all I understand your situation, because I have issues too that I won’t go into, and I’m now 56, and yes you are correct, our bodies just start falling apart. But, in saying all that, you HAVE to go get it looked at. You can’t say I can’t afford it. You are WORTH every penny it takes to find relief. It might be as simple as going to a foot specialist to get proper fit insoles to help compensate for the way your walking. You are worth the investment into your own life. I personally enjoy your channel and I hate that your in pain, and want you to see that you are worth getting this looked at and that your not alone. I wish there was a way you could see what we see in you. Your an asset to me personally, and to all that know you. Your smart, you have so many gifts and what you bring to the table via RUclips, is something to be proud of. Have you ever thought about getting into Radio? You have a voice that would do well in Radio. I’m serious! 👍🏻 Anyway, please get yourself looked at, you owe it to yourself. You are Worth it!! Invest in your most precious gift that you’ve been given in this life....the gift of yourself!!! Your a great guy!! -Stephen, Ohio

If you go to a podiatrist, they're going to recommend a custom shoe insole. Highly highly recommend using a brand called Superfeet. Basically what it does is keep your foot stable inside your shoe so there isn't a lot of movement when you are walking. Unlike brands with soft insoles like Dr. Scholls, the Superfeet brand has a hard plastic bottom with a soft top to keep your foot in place and stable throughout the day. I had to get these because I am flat footed, and they are much more affordable than custom shoe insoles from the doctor. I saw improvement almost immediately, and personally I would recommend them to you. Hope this helps and hope your foot feels better. Keep up the good work!

Hey Jeff hope you are feeling better. Just out of curiosity, have you checked the bottom of your feet for proper displacement pattern? You are supposed to walk slightly on the out side of your feet because it's supposed to be the first part that hits the ground. I'm about the same size as you and I have the same problems when I wear shoes without enough support. Take some foot powder or chock and lightly coat the under side of your foot, then walk normally over a piece of colored paper. If the pattern is too flat or too much outside pressure you might need some additional arch support. I picked up some dr. Scholl's support from Walmart and went one size larger than their little machines said I needed and it solved about 80% of the problems. most of my problems was because I needed more cushion when my foot hit the ground instead of transferring all the energy to that outside muscle.

  • @Vic7884
    @Vic7884 5 лет назад +19

My advice is to cut out the middle man and just go straight to a podiatrist. You don't need a referral from a GP to go to one and since your issue is just in your foot, just spend all of the money there instead of a GP first, then a foot doctor. I have plantar fasciitis, so I am no stranger to foot pain. What you're describing doesn't sound like what I have, but something that does help with my foot pain is to roll my foot on a frozen water bottle. When your foot is hurting, it may be helpful and can help with inflammation inside the foot. Also, I invested in some nice insoles to put in my shoes for support. Sure losing weight will help, but that is not something that you can make happen overnight and I'm sure that you want relief now, so search for things you can do you relieve your pain well enough to be able to exercise (low impact, of course). I hope you can get it sorted soon, chronic pain is very frustrating.

FYI if u are/just started on keto you probably went thru the keto flu. The dizziness is low electrolytes specifically sodium. So you should add salt to everything you can or even drink water with a quarter teaspoon of salt when you're feeling dizzy. It's just showing you that your blood pressure is low. Which is fine better than high. I've been on keto for a year and a half and most days if I don't get enough salt I get dizzy as well. Get the weight off and I'd bet the feet start feeling better.

Hey, I had something very similar to that in the 2nd and 3rd tarsal on top of my foot, it would get worse with more running and putting weight on it. After 6 months or so It got so bad I had to go to the doc and what started out as a stress reaction/mild stress fracture ended up a non displaced fracture that took 8 weeks in a boot to heal. Calcium supliments and stay off it is pretty much all you can do for fractured bones.

There is one simple thing you need to do to lose weight, and that is to almost not eat anything, and having the discipline to continue with not eating. All the extra weight on your body is stored energy. It doesn't get used if you continue to eat, your body prioritises the callories from the food eaten. If you eat very small amounts of food, your body will instead use it's stored up energy, thus you will lose weight.

I had the same problem. Its the bone in the outside of the foot. I pretty sure there’s a joint there, not one that moves like a knuckle. The problem is the it gets sprained. My mother broke the bone. Its was a nightmare. Try an insole for you shoes. Keep it elevated when not walking. Also loose shoes may make it worse.

New Balance has a line of Motion Control shoes and insoles that give good support and help correct faults in your gait (like the way I tend to roll the outside of my left for under when I push off). For your feet, I recommend going to Walmart and having your feet scanned to see what type of orthotic inserts you need. If you can't afford thoses, just get some cheap ones. They really make all the difference. All my shoes have inserts.

The Affordable Care Act created a requirement for people to have health insurance that meets certain standards, called minimum essential coverage. This requirement to have health insurance is known as the “individual mandate.”
Even though the individual mandate requirement is the law, if you don’t have health insurance, you haven’t committed a crime. You won’t be arrested or sent to jail. However, it means that if your health insurance doesn't meet the minimum essential coverage standards spelled out in the Affordable Care Act, you may have to pay a fine when you file your taxes.
Why pay a fine on taxes and not just pay for the heath insurance?

Thanks for your untiring commitment, You really need to get to the root of your foot problem, you can google your foot symptoms and get pretty close, then go to a GP and explain what is wrong with you (they need all the help they can get) Get an accurate diagnosis together, then work out the best way to "Cure" your problem. Fix your diet, cut out any/all crap, this will help with the weight and everything long term. Don't mask the symptoms with pills while the problem progresses start correcting the condition, who knows hopefully it can be corrected without expensive pharma "management" Fix it you must, you are an intelligent guy, best of luck.

I'm a big guy and I had the same issues... Pain on the outsides of my feet and into my pinky toes... I did the dr. Scholl's foot map kiosk at Walmart and got the appropriate insoles and I haven't had issues since.

Freeze a plastic bottle filled with water and then place the bottle on the floor and roll your foot over it in the place it is sore. It may help relieve some of the pain.

I was a work a holic when I was in my forties.smoking.drinking,not sleeping properly. I always felt bad. the bubble burst when I was around fifty, my kidneys faied. I have been going through hell on dialysis for almost ten years. how im still alive is a miracle. so I guess the lesson is see a doctor regularly, even if you have to sell something. I hope everything works out for you and god bless.

i would recommend going straight to the podiatrist, the gp's never know much about feet. im not sure how easy that is in america, as im in the uk, but when i had foot problems. you can also get special insoles that will give you support by spreading the weight out.

I had on and off pain like that on the outside of my left foot. My wife finally made me go get it checked. Turned out to be a stress fracture of my 4th and 5th metatarsal. Not that that's your issue, just the way you describe the pain sounds familiar. Hope you feel better.

Some Walgreens have health clinics (its a nurse practitioner) they might be able to give you a general idea of what the issue is and it might be cheaper than a GP. Might be worth looking into to see what it would cost or just see a specialist first without a GP

Custom boots, Jeff. Check into White's or whatever company tickles your fancy. Call them and ask for their recommendation, too.

Hey Jeff. I know that its hard but loosing weight will help. However, start by getting some orthopaedic insoles. They might cost a bunch of money, but they are worth it. I have extremely flat feet and have plantar fasciitis and insoles have been a massive help. They can take a few weeks to get used to, and will likely cause more pain in the short term, but will help a great deal.
With regards to CBD. It is fantastic...and hopefully there will be some time in the near future where the ignorant and uneducated will learn and it will be more widely accepted.

I had gout Xmas before last and started walking on the outside of my right foot, now I think I have the same pain as you, sometimes it’s ok but when standing after sitting for a while it’s horrible for 10 or so steps it sucks

Sounds like it may be planter fasciitis. I got it a lot when I worked retail on concrete floors. Use a tennis ball to massage the bottom of your foot. Get well!

I would recommend a chiropractor. It won’t fix everything but it could get you straightened out more and could potentially fix your problem. Or at least make it better to an extent. And also not very costly.

Get some really supportive shoes, like a good pair of boots AND some good inserts. New Balance were the inserts recommended to my wife by her podiatrist when she was having the same sort of issue. They make a HUGE difference! They will hurt more initially as your feet get used to be in the correct position, try several hours at a time initially, but keep with it!

I'm not a doctor or a specialist by any means but I've had problems with my feet my entire life. I was actually born with clubbed feet and was fortunate enough to have corrective surgery as a child. The biggest problem it left me with was completely flat feet. It really makes you realize how important the way you walk is. Orthotic inserts can be a complete life changer. They usually aren't the cheapest thing but some over the counter inserts are far less than seeing a specialist if you can't make it to one right now. I'd honestly recommend you continue to use high CBD flower. It can really make a huge difference in so many aspects of your life. I really hope this advice helps at all. I know how rough foot pain can be. You shouldn't have to deal with that.

General practitioners and family practice docs are pretty general in their diagnosis but still the best place to start. From there you are looking at specialists all the way. Our health system is fucked but without Ins. So are you.

You could look into plain leaf kratom for occasional pain relief. Safe herbal pain relief with mild tickling of the opioid receptors to offer occasional pain relief, yes it’s technically an ‘opioid’ agonist but it has a ceiling so it is safe to use
