An underrated band. Their hits were unique and had almost subliminal greatness... loved 'La Femme Accident' 12 inch, play it in a car during a midnight drive and you will realise the talent of these guys.

The genius of OMD is the most understated and overlooked in the history of Music. Forever Live and Die was the song that turned me onto them, and I bought their Best Of album in 1987 - talk about a revelation of mind bending discoveries! Simply one of the top 10 Bands to come out of the UK and certainly a band that also defined 80's Synth Pop Music.
Your music has seen me through all the good, the bad, and even worse !!! You both look fabulous! Thank you for forty years of fantastic tunes!! OMD are and always will be,my all time favourite band !!!!!

I watched their performance in 80's at HK, everyone in the concert hall are stood up and dance ! This is impossible to happen in HK again right now ! Their music is influencing

What a couple of humble geniuses that produced some of the greatest sounds and songs of the 80s and they didn’t even have to namedrop or even mention their big hits …this is a rarity in the industry congratulations boys ;) True gentleman ;)

Interviewer was gracious and OMD, well they are class. Loved them since 80's and seen them countless times, each time is like a totally different experience, always off the scale. Love them.
I need a song where Andy is singing and Moby playing the music. His remix of Souvenir is impeccable and exquisite!

One of the best bands of all time, I remember Electricity in the charts when I was about 8...it was out of this world to me, I got a keyboard for xmas because of it...I still play now, love playing my keyboards all these years later because of OMD. How Kraftwerk was to Andy and Paul is like what OMD are to me!
Great interview. Love hearing them discuss their songwriting process. There’s not enough Liverpudlian bands in the charts these days. Down to earth guys with humour and humble attitudes. They deserve their sucess.

It is a wonderful interview. Their music is simply timeless and unique. It is in other words mmmm good.
However, the melodies and the lyrics have etched emotions in the souls of a generation. Don't underestimate your influence.
Always liked them as a kid after the best of. How can you not like an album that starts with a great track like Electricity

Great, great story.. Hitler's Underpants🤣 that's a really edgy name, a lot more than Joy Division. Good thing it was OMD that they picked, really ethereal and moody. Very first new wave/new romantics that I heard. I especially like their early experimental stuff. 🎹❤
