MG ZS Alpha owner here. I've own the vehicle for 7 months now and so far no complaints. The vehicle does what is supposed to do, bring you from point A to point B safe and comfortably. NVH is pretty good compared to my previous vehicle, Hyundai Accent. I guess my only nitpick is the sunshade that they've used for the panoramic sunroof, which is just a mesh compared to other competitors which is a solid material that completely blocks the heat.
Always loved the styling on the MGs. But only one thing stopping me from getting one, the local distributor, Covenant Car Company. Hopefully SAIC will improve on the overall service of the brand when it takes over.
odd that they added a power tailgate in a mid-variant but none in the totl. i also wished they at least added a center armrest and aircon vents at the rear. nevertheless, this is still a good and practical choice given its price.
Thanks for your comment! The MG ZS still has alot to offer for the price! There are still alot of people looking into buying one despite its pitfalls! It’s a solid choice, albeit getting long in the tooth! -Roy
Bagong release ba to? MG needs to rethink or restrategize how they can further make n imprint in the market. Hindi yung basta makarelease lang ng sasakyan (or edition ng sasakyan). What would make their vehicles stand out? Why should people buy their vehicles? What should people look forward to in their releases? As Simon Sinek would say: start with the Why This vehicle is about as plain and normal as it could get and if in buyer, im better off buying a plain and normal japanese brand so that when it brakes down at least me piyesa na mabibili. No wonder andaming MG na repossessed units.
Puro ka reklamo 😂 MG Philippines released the MG GT Sedan a couple of months ago and its Alpha variant is selling well MG ZS is selling very well in the Philippines and in Australia. Its miles better than buying an underpowered and small Toyota Raize which is just a badly built Daihatsu 😂
@@KuchingKingVideoGamer if you interpret what ive said as reklamo, youre part of the reason why carmakers keep shortchanging filipinos on the cars they bring in here.
😅 Oh wow, that steering wheel is so lame. And also, Roy man, i suggest that you wear a black t-shirt with a big enough ZigWheels logo instead of what you wore on this vid. 😉😁 Great review vid. 👍🏼
GREAT CAR BUT a Nightmare AfterSale . Very Bad customer service in Philippines . No available spare parts . Rapair can Take up to 6 months ...No Temporary car replacement will be provided during long repair time .

What's the reason why they did not put any buttons on the steering wheel?
Probably it's the lowest variant.
this is a dressed up MG ZS Style
For MG ZS Alpha only.
MG is the best!

@@KuchingKingVideoGamer MG actually lost some sales to Geely last year. Check their sales reports. But their AU sales increased 27.1%.
I love my ZS ALPHA. waiting for ZS EV
While there is no ZS EV, you may look at the Marvel.
Meron na pong ZS EV

Mg zs is the best i have one
That's awesome! I really think it's a great basic suv. Like a tshirt that's comfy but versatile and it won't let you down. - Roy
I'd take the Tiggo 5x Luxury variant over this one.
i'd take the Tiggo 2 Pro over this MG ZS. 💪🏼😁👍🏼
This guy is tall!
I’m so sorry(?) 😂 I guess if I can fit in the car, almost anyone could! Thanks for the comment :-)
For my reference, how tall are you?

No steering wheel controls and no physical buttons to control the usual things is going to bite you after the initial excitement wears off.

MG = Minsan Gumagana
Mg 2013 edition 😂
should've used a black unit for this review 🤦♂️
Black would have been more apt! But the white sure looks like a good contrast to the black trims! - Roy
this is overpriced comparing to rivals
This is actually well priced compared to buying an underpowered small Toyota Raize 😂
I wish he can take the slang/accent off 😅
i agree. super tried hard ung accent. nde natural filipino english. masyado attempted american accent. especially sa æ nya. pilit ung dating.
I wish you guys just focus on the content. As long as you understand him, then that is fine! Also, I wish I can hear you speak in English :)

And I definitely don't speak with a fake accent 🤭
