I love crass listening to their music always made me question things and go look something up.
Most other punk bands are just spewing up talking points like "eat the rich" without explaining why, what would that do etc...
I would really like to listen some punk band creating a song about the IMF and explain how IMF predatory loans to 3rd world countries work and what the catch is...
Most punk rock reminds me more of political youtubers and political twitch streamers that in reality are just online drama channels that are design to preach to the choir.
If I go watch left wing youtubers I will learn a lot about of private life of individual right wing youtuber and same is in reverse.
But how US economy actually works, how NATO works, how foreign policy works, their trappings, benefits and cost etc... no so much...
If I asked many of youtube political personalities about details of the PETRODOLLAR on either side they would know very little about.

It’s such a massive collection of music, one genre leading to another, all the influences contributing to scenes from town to town… it’s a difficult story to encapsulate and impossible to capture the energy but it’s important for young punks to have a resource to reference to keep things straight. It’s all about the bands and the scene, but most of all the accessible MUSIC.

This was a fun interview. Finn is awesome.
But you gotta turn the exposure up on your camera. It's painfully dark.

Telling someone you're inspiring me to get a moat is low key hilarious and a good rip.

For the sake of good music and good sense, this interview should be called "Finn Mckenty DEBUNKED".

The look on Mike’s face made me laugh out loud just before the graph and then totally ignored during the 2nd hysterical face. Moats don’t kill H2O Do!

Hit the nail on the head with the Living Color statement. I wish they had even a fraction of the chili peppers numbers. Such
    a better band.

Wow, I thought Cokie the clown was just an alter ego. I'd like to see Mike on some of that ole fashioned ephedra hells angels crank and see if it settles him down. 😁

Hey Mike a good friend of mine told me “You can’t stop the wind” we were having a conversation about how you can’t change people. By the way I fucking love NOFX because they’re so bad ass and I just saw your podcast tonight. Don’t ever comment on shit and I’ve commented on your TikTok and on this too which is crazy but I just feel like I should tell you you can’t stop the wind go outside and try you can divert it but you can’t stop it
