I had a S2 GTST back in '04-'06. Easily the most fun sports car I've ever owned. They make all the right noises and the RB25 is solid. RB25 + external waste gate is perfect.

Hey dude, yeah I think so. I haven’t changed the gate size on the same car to test it but cars always sound different, so I’m presuming it’s gate size, exhausts and turbos making it different.
Ive never built a stock motor up from scratch mate so I'd be lying if I told you I knew how it would exactly change performance, but it is certainly an upgrade! When picking a turbo, you have to consider fuel systems, exhausts, ecu as well - so do you know what you are doing there? The 3076 size turbos get a great wrap from people with RB25det's. My new turbo is a Garret G30-900 and I love it. I will make a video of it driving soon for you.

Hey Travis, In my experience so far, the knee pads are kind of just a novelty. I’m about 6ft tall and don’t really notice them in the car too much. I just found them and thought it was something cool that was Nismo to add to the car. Yeah, I agree. 33 gtr seats are cool. I haven’t really sat in many but I’m planning on doing some basic interior tidying up on it anyway that will entail a retrim of the front seats anyway. Thanks for watching mate

I’m looking at a neighbours 96 R33 GTST S2 making 306rwkw on e85 and 270 on 98, extremely clean, body has 160,000kms but engine only has 20,000kms since being built stronger. Has genuine GTR wing and Interior (front and rear seats). Got resprayed 2 years back also. Not much history on the car, but the current owner I know is fussy with cars like I am so he’d have made sure it was good (it’s his 3rd in 15 years). He’s after $40K which for the work that’s already been done and the cleanliness, it may be worth it. What are your thoughts? Cheers

@@davedrives212 With the setup you have, if you ran the standard intake piping, would the high mount be in the way. I was thinking of going high mount eventually but keep the standard intake manifold and piping, if it would fit. Ive got a neo in my 31 with front mount cooler.
Had a closer look at mine today, and looks like it would be in the way, would have to change the pipe where it goes over the covers and forward. Cheers
That modified intake is really bad in terms of air flow. Chinese copies of greaddy intake are readily available and probably cost less than modification job. They require fitting work though

@@davedrives212 yep, navigating 33 gtst s2 through russian waters :D Basic theory is that some cylinders get more air than others, leaning them out. In this case 6th cylinder should me most leaned, means running hotter. Though your tuner probably countered that by adding more fuel for 5-6 cylinder
@@davedrives212 we have opposite situation to common wealth over here, skylines were legal almost immediately, so we had them in the country for 20 years and they are relatively easy to get and cheap in comparison, but they really used up. One russian km goes for 50 japanese. Cars from auctions are like new to what we have over here, though they are illegal to import for last 10 years. I've just swapped mine to stroked rb26 with n1 bnr34 twins and 270/270 camshafts, dyno showed 480whp@610tq :3
I've had myR33 s2 for 18yrs! Very fun drive, useable back seat and boot! From when Nissan could sell a Porsche nemesis to Joe Average! Too good!
