As a new doula, I’m happily shocked by this hospital! The way they spoke to you, what the room provided and how they supported your need to keep your oxytocin levels elevated (keep lights dim, allowing time off the monitor, calm voices). This gives me so much hope!
I’m 41 weeks today and am full on sobbing, you did amazing mama, your calmness and peace throughout the entire labor was so infectious, so beautiful 🦋💗
I was an OB Technician and water births were not recommended, can cause infection and or pass bacteria to the baby, because of bodily fluids during birth that are in the the water during labor and delivery!!!!
Wow, I’ve watched countless birth vlogs and I have never seen someone labour as peacefully and calmly as you did!!!! I’m 29 weeks at the moment and can only dream of a birth this calm and in control. You absolutely SMASHED it mama, congratulations 🎉
@jennanik0 I had her October 16th!!! She's the best thing that's ever happened to me. 🥹 my water broke at 40w4d and I had her the next night at 40w5d. I labored for 26hrs, 16 natural and then had an epidural. That epidural ended up failing and the pains were even worse. They talked me into a C-section due to failure to progress because I had stalled at a 7. I was so exhausted and in so much pain and they had me worried about shoulder dystosia, so I caved and had the C-section. But, if I could go back I would have pushed through and tried to have her naturally. But, everything was worth it. 🩷
The moment he got in bed with you and prayed over you and the baby!!! I could cry. Thank you so much for sharing your story. Congratulations. What an incredible gift.
I revolve around birth since 8 years now and I have never see a birth partner and a mother so calm and inform about physiological process. Your team was awesome! You did so so good. Congrats!
I had my son at a birth center. Not only were the midwives amazing and supportive but my husband played a huge part. He basically delivered our son with his own hands. Nothing better than the support from your partner. You did amazing mama 💛 what a beautiful family.
Why did I do the same thing 😫 I’m 38+5 rn and right in the beginning when I heard the baby cry the water works came 😭 and wouldn’t stop! Geez I’m so ready to meet my baby 🥲 I hope yours went well ❤ if so, and you don’t kind me asking, when did you go into labor?
This is the most beautiful video i have ever seen. Oh my goodness, so peaceful and calm. I am recently married ( 6 months now) not pregnant yet. But i decided just 2 days ago to watch one positive birth video every day, to help my mindset and eliminate fear. This is the third one i am watching and i could watch this over and over everyday. I just want to say, thank you for not just filming this, but showing it to the world. God bless you and yours so much for allowing us come into your world. Wow! I am stunned, God is awesome. This is so beautiful and powerful. Oh i am commenting from Nigeria. Hopefully, i would come back here to share my positive birth experience when it finally happens. Bless!!!!
L & D nurse here. Yes it totally can be. The most important thing is finding the right provider that will support your birth plan and not push a bunch of unnecessary medical interventions on you. Best of luck to you!
I'm sure you've had your baby already, but for anyone that comes across this, hospital births can be amazing too. I've always wanted a home birth but live too far away from any midwives. I found a provider that is amazing. She supports natural child birth 100% doesn't even try to talk me into an iv. The nurses have always been super supportive and helped talk through different methods to support natural labor. They have done counter pressure to help and have just 100% supported me through the birth. I've had babies at this hospital and they've been amazing every time.
I did a drug free birth at a birthing center for my first and now I'm on baby number two but I'll have to be at the hospital this time. I don't love the idea of being at a hospital but as a woman of faith I know that God is with me wherever I go! Having worship music is such a powerful tool and invites the Holy Spirit into the experience (which is more powerful than any drug!). I can see through your experience that Gods peace was with you. Way to lean in and congrats on that beautiful baby boy. 🎉 God bless ❤
Love that you had your mom there. It means the world to us grandma's to have the privilege of being there. The absolute world. I'm at grandbaby 16 now, and some of the sweetest days of my life have been my daughters births.
You are a beast!!!! 29:38 the way you just turned over and grabbed him in your arms oh my gosh i am SOBBING. this is the perfect birth experience i needed to see ❤ seriously congrats to your precious family.
I’m 39 weeks with my third, and I’ve had two unmedicated births prior. Definitely cried watching this 😭❤️ you did so amazing mama! My first labor was extremely rough- 36 hours and 8 pushing. You were so focused and calm and listened to your body! I had to go into some painful positions during contractions to get my sons head pivoted the right way and get him out, so I really feel your pain! But you made it look easy! You should be so proud of yourself ❤
Birth terrifies me more than anything but I hope one day to be a mom, this video brought me to tears, beautiful birth❤ wishing you both well in this new chapter of life
I love how ever I medicated birth video I’ve watched so far had some aspect of God being their calm. Playing Christian music, praying, etc. that’s so good !!
I’m 36 weeks today, and this is the most calming birth video I’ve watched. Thank you for sharing your journey to meeting your sweet boy. Your story is so inspiring and I can only hope I have a similar experience 🩵
I might never be able to become a mother, but watching other woman give birth in a natural way feels so healing, like this part of me is seen and heard
This is probably the third time I’ve watched this video, I can’t fathom how calm and peaceful you stayed throughout the whole time, you are absolutely superwoman ❤ hands down one of my most favourite RUclips videos
It is a really good birth. I watched this at 37 weeks with my seventh and when she started the birth humming I started crying because it brings the memories back so clearly and that's always my cue that we are almost done.
Thanks for this video! I'm 38 weeks tomorrow with my 4th. The first 3 were in hospital natural births and this one will be a home birth. It's been 9 years since I've done this and the excitement is creeping in. I started crying as soon as you started pushing because I remember everything before that point fades away and it's all focused in on meeting them. Once you have that baby nothing else matters and it is quite literally the most magical feeling in the world knowing you did this. Your body did everything it was supposed to and you actually accomplished it. What a beautiful story you have documented. I'm beyond proud to be a woman for this reason alone. I can't wait to hold our little man in my arms for the fordt time in the coming weeks. Congratulations momma!
omg, that is so beautifully put🥹🥹🥹 I couldn’t agree more! Being a woman is truly an incredible experience! I wish you the most peaceful & positive birth experience❤️ congrats!!!!
In tearssss, OMG this was so beautifully documented! You did SO GREAT and what an amazing partner you have! He handled you with so much love and care. I can tell that he loves you both so much and I’m sure that you both have been great parents thus far! I’m 20 weeks with my little girl today and I am totally manifesting a first birth for myself that will be as smooth and safe as this one. Blessings to you and your family. ❤️❤️❤️
Wow thank you for being so vulnerable and sharing this! I have been wanting to have an unmedicated birth but am so scared. Seeing how I’m control and powerful you were is so inspiring, congratulations momma!
If anyone else is feeling this way, birth is completely possible unmedicated. Don't be scared. It truly is an amazing experience and knowing you can do it is more than half the battle.
I had my second baby 3 weeks ago today! My labor and delivery looked so similar to yours. A labor at home and an unmedicated birth at the hospital was what I wanted. It was such an amazing experience. You're so right about wanting to relive the day over and over! You did awesome, mama! I was over the yoga ball for most of my labor. My labor and delivery was super fast so I didn't have any time for a bath or shower but I'm sure it was lovely!
I’m not even close to being done with this video yet and I am just in love with that sweet, caring fur baby! He or she knows something is going on and seems so concerned. Love it!❤
This made me feel so much better about giving birth. Knowing God will give me the strength to get through it. 27 weeks today & I’ve been so scared. Thank you sharing your beautiful delivery ❤
My biggest advice to you is to understand what your body is doing. Understanding it helps you mentally translate the 'pain' into 'pressure'. If you don't fully understand how birth works there's a really informative video of a nurse with a balloon and a ping pong ball that really helped me visualize what the contractions were doing in me. It's still going to hurt a lot but it takes a lot of the fear away, like instead of "aaa this hurts so much I feel like I'm going to die" you understand that these are waves bringing your baby first and closer to shore. I'm due very soon with my 5th child so I have been around the block lol.
I’m due my first baby in May and I plan to go unmedicated. Your video was honestly so so beautiful and calming to watch. Thankyou for sharing such an intimate experience with us all. Congratulations on your angel. I’ve learnt so much from this video and feel even more excited to meet my little one in a couple months 😭❤️
I hope u and your baby are doing well! My oldest daughter is currently having her first baby....like, right now at the hospital...and I'm just overwhelmed. It brings back so many memories of giving birth myself....add to the fact that the first baby I gave birth to is having my first grand baby and it's a lot. Lol. I pray u are all doing well!
Same here! I'm due June 1st but I am considered high risk. I want my birth to go alot like this!!! You did so well! I am going to aim to be that calm and focused when my time comes sometime in May. Praying I do not need a csection!!!!
Ive never seen a birth this peaceful. Ive been in medical 30 yrs! You are absolutely are a one in a million momma! You looked so beautiful thru it all. Congratulations on your seert angel❤❤❤🎉😊
Thank you so much for sharing your labor and delivery experience with everyone. This really helped me to feel better about my own labor and delivery. I am 30 weeks and starting to feel a bit anxious about what it will be like. Im sad my hospital doesn’t have a tub but it was good to see you used your tub at home and delivered on the bed hands and knees. I would like to be able to do that and dim lighting with worship music on in the background as well. I got really teary watching this, i think i just pictured my husband and I going threw this in just two months! Thank you again, i feel a lot more ready and I know the Lord made me to birth my baby. ☺️
I’m sorry but you can’t tell me you’re relaxed and in a hypnotic state when you’re Contractions were that full on… I thought I was going to die the amount of pain I was in when my contractions were back to back non stop for 1-2 hours no way did I feel relaxed . Anyway bawling my eyes out now watching how beautiful this little baby boy is. I have two sons and they are my everything. I’m now 37 weeks pregnant with a girl and I’m so excited to hold her. ❤
I had my first last year and I didn’t realize I was emotional about it until I saw the part where you birthed his head. Brought back so many memories. I’m so grateful for my daughter. Having another one in December 😊
From a mom of 5 I love your instinct to reach right where your baby was when she came out! When I birthed like that I had to take a second to breathe n then turn around- Congrats🎉
Oh my goodness this was so beautiful. I am 21 weeks with my first child and hope I can handle labor just as well as you did. I am scared to death but this has eased it just a bit. I cannot wait to hold my baby for the first time!!
Have you thought about taking any hypnobirthing classes? Because that method prepares you so well that you can labor in a significantly less anxious and hence less painful way.
This was beautiful. I’m an expectant first time mom, and your experience made me less afraid. All the best to you and your lovely family. May your baby do great things!❤
You handled labor like a pro. I'm about to have my seventh and I find that with each birth I learn something new. I've never delivered in the same position twice and each one has had tricks I had to discover to make things move along. Being free to instinctively try all different things is a huge part of having a good labor and you both were really good at this! Congratulations. ❤
Thank you so much for sharing this. I'm 29 weeks pregnant with my second, planning a VBAC, and your labour and birth is EXACTLY what I'm dreaming of. This was so beautiful to watch, thank you so much.
Oh my gosh! Thank you for showing how raw and real this was! I am 37 weeks and 3 days today and getting very anxious for my baby girl to be here! Congratulations on your little man! He’s beautiful!
I’m a third time veteran mom of natural birth and even I am super impressed and inspired! You were so at peace and in control even when they got your dilation wrong which would discourage most. Congrats on your baby and a warrior birth!! ❤
Ok but now I definitely wanna go unmedicated after this vid, you did amazing and seeing how your body just went with the flow when you’re allowed to move around it crazy
I’m currently 32 Weeks & getting mentally prepared to have my very first baby ever & im so darn nervous because I’m hoping to have an unmedicated hypno water birth. He’s due in December, wish me luck guys & I hope all u Mums crush it with ur Labour & Deliveries because us Women are the best! Good Luck Mums!
I'm giving birth in 4 weeks and you are pure inspo. How much they asked you to change position and do this and check you here etc and you just remained so calm and did it. This was such a great reminder to just keep breathing and you smashed it. Will be trying to keep your strength in my mind as and when I go into labour. Congratulations, you're a superstar!
You’re too sweet! Thank you! I really feel like 90% of the battle is mental , so stay positive & focus on relaxing your whole body! You’re going to do great!!!
I teared up the whole video, i rooted for you the whole time! Thank you for sharing this with us! Your husband did an amazing job at attending with your needs! Such a beautiful thing to witness. Me and my husband will be trying very soon and i will start my journey becoming a mother. 🥹
Such a beautiful birth video. I’m currently 34 weeks today and omg, got me 😭. Beautiful labor and you did so amazing through it all. Pray when my time comes all will go smoothly too.🙏🏼❤️
3:50 aww your puppy ❤ I am only 5 weeks but I want to go unmedicated this time so I’m about to literally watch a positive natural birth experience every day for the first and second trimester to pass time. You give off such a calm energy and I’m getting so emotional already haha so so happy for you guys
Wow just wow! This by far is the most beautiful labor I’ve ever seen! Such a beautiful moment to share. You are truly a warrior! Congratulations to you both. ❤❤❤❤.
Oh what a beautiful momma! Back labor is tough you are one heck of a trooper, and Nolan was so sweet. Congratulations on your sweet boy. God bless you and keep you💜💜
25 weeks w baby 3 and bawling. I had 2 csections and am continually praying that I can make this happen for my family! As exhausted as you were and the way you grabbed him and flipped onto your back I began to cry uncontrollably. So beautiful! ❤
Praise God! I bawled my eyes out when he was born. You did an incredible job ♥️ I am 21 weeks - would you be willing to share your birth playlist? It was beautiful.
Using SPINNING BABIES techniques throughout pregnancy but even in labor would help to move baby into the most optimal position for labor by aligning the pelvis and it helps avoid back labor. Then you have the freedom to use multiple laboring positions and not feel stuck in one the whole time. I’ve used it with my last two pregnancies and at the beginning of my labors and they went so quickly. This was a very nice very positive birth experience, you did amazingly. You’re so sweet together and I love that you had Jesus as part of your labor and that your husband was praying over you
YES! That was one thing I will definitely be looking into wayyy more for my next birth! I had just heard about spinning babies a couple days before I had him… I think it would’ve made a big difference🤗 thank you❤️❤️
What a beautiful video! Congratulations ❤️ I’ve been terrified of giving birth, due in August and you just completely took my fears away thank you for sharing and being so vulnerable. You have a beautiful family.
You did such an amazing job! Out of all of the labor videos I’ve been watching yours actually made me cry thank you for sharing! Makes me so excited to meet my baby boy😭❤️
You had such a calm and peaceful birth. It was beautiful. I don’t know you but I feel so proud of you. And your husband is amazing, so supportive and caring through the whole thing.
Thank you for uploading this beautiful video. I am 29 weeks with my third and this made me so excited for labour and meeting my baby girl. You and your husband make a wonderful team. Congratulations on your baby boy. ❤
This was absolutely incredible, especially for a hospital experience. You were SO amazing. Im 37 weeks and going to a natural birth center with this baby and you are an inspiration ❤
This was so beautiful!! I cried! You are so strong!! Would you be open to sharing your birth playlist? It was so beautiful and I would love to use similar songs!! ❤️ I hope you are enjoying being a mama!! Cheers to you!
I’m so scared of labor. I’m 30 weeks now, but you give me so much hope. I want to go without being medicated and I’m so worried that I won’t be able to stick with it.
I’m only 17 weeks and watching this. Dang pregnancy hormones - normally I can watch things like this with no reaction but this made me cry. It gave me hope and courage to not knock an unmedicated birth off the table completely.
Yay, congratulations!!!💗💗 You and your husband did so wonderful. I love how you showed healthy and natural ways towards your child's birth. God bless always and so happy everything went well. 💛🙏🏻
38 weeks 3 days and bawling ! You did amazing ! Congratulations to you and your family ! I’m going to try natural and to do use the tub as much as I can! you truly did such an amazing job ! Congratulations again !
As a new doula, I’m happily shocked by this hospital! The way they spoke to you, what the room provided and how they supported your need to keep your oxytocin levels elevated (keep lights dim, allowing time off the monitor, calm voices). This gives me so much hope!
This was at Banner Estrella. Amazing midwife team and support nurse there
As a retired doula, it reinforces the way birth could be and should be ❤.

As a midwife from Australia- I can say that midwife did a lot of vaginal exams and the labour was interrupted quite alot.

I got really teary watching this, i think i just pictured my husband and I going threw this in just two months!
Thank you again, i feel a lot more ready and I know the Lord made me to birth my baby. ☺️
I’m sorry but you can’t tell me you’re relaxed and in a hypnotic state when you’re
Contractions were that full on… I thought I was going to die the amount of pain I was in when my contractions were back to back non stop for 1-2 hours no way did I feel relaxed .
31 weeks now ! By far the best labor video ive seen crying 😭
Oh my gosh🥹 how sweet!!! Thank you💕
Wow she really was strong and in total control! Way to go mama. You really are a SUPERHERO!!!
Thank you❤️
From a mom of 5 I love your instinct to reach right where your baby was when she came out! When I birthed like that I had to take a second to breathe n then turn around- Congrats🎉
Thank you🥰
Oh my goodness this was so beautiful. I am 21 weeks with my first child and hope I can handle labor just as well as you did. I am scared to death but this has eased it just a bit. I cannot wait to hold my baby for the first time!!
Congrats!!! You’re going to do GREAT!
Have you thought about taking any hypnobirthing classes? Because that method prepares you so well that you can labor in a significantly less anxious and hence less painful way.
I agree! I read The Calm Birth Method and I feel like that influenced my pain management methods a lot !!
@@MadelineMolt I looked on Amazon. Who I'd the Author?
This was beautiful. I’m an expectant first time mom, and your experience made me less afraid. All the best to you and your lovely family. May your baby do great things!❤
Thank you! I’m so glad to hear that!! Congrats mama❤️
Way to go momma! You did fantastic! Dad your support was unwavering! Love this VLOG!
My partner got a punch for keep quizzing me😂
Thank you so much for sharing this.
Thank you 💕 those last couple of weeks are such an exciting wait! Congratulations!!!
@@MadelineMolt awe thanks so much!! Getting very nervous but very excited!

In tears. Congratulations ❤ 32 weeks pregnant and this has been so beautifully helpful. Thank you!! 🥰
I’m a third time veteran mom of natural birth and even I am super impressed and inspired! You were so at peace and in control even when they got your dilation wrong which would discourage most. Congrats on your baby and a warrior birth!! ❤
Wow!! That is so so kind🥹 thank you❤️
You are a star! I know that it's been one year now, but you still ... inspiring. Thank you.
Ok but now I definitely wanna go unmedicated after this vid, you did amazing and seeing how your body just went with the flow when you’re allowed to move around it crazy
I’m so happy to hear that!! I LOVED my unmedicated birth experience🥰
The power of Womenhood,

Good luck! I am also 32 weeks! We've got this x
32 weeks here and I am bawling. This was so beautiful
Aw thank you 🤍

25 weeks w baby 3 and bawling. I had 2 csections and am continually praying that I can make this happen for my family! As exhausted as you were and the way you grabbed him and flipped onto your back I began to cry uncontrollably. So beautiful! ❤
Wow. I had a unmedicated birth this past October and it truly brings me to tears watching your beautiful experience. Well done!

Praise God! I bawled my eyes out when he was born. You did an incredible job ♥️ I am 21 weeks - would you be willing to share your birth playlist? It was beautiful.
Congratulations!!! Thank you so much❤️ I have the playlist linked in the description🤗
I had just heard about spinning babies a couple days before I had him… I think it would’ve made a big difference🤗 thank you❤️❤️
Im crying my eyes out this was beautiful. My first birth was traumatic I can only hope my next is anywhere near this peaceful 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Well done mama! 😊
Maddie, you’re so fantastic! No screaming or having fits. The baby hasn’t been born yet……💖❤️🤗

I’m so scared of labor. I’m 30 weeks now, but you give me so much hope. I want to go without being medicated and I’m so worried that I won’t be able to stick with it.
I was so involved with the labor and birth I forgot to be scared. I wish the same for you.
im 29 weeks almost and I loved this! You are so strong! Your mom crying sent me into tears. Congrats girl!!
I’m only 17 weeks and watching this. Dang pregnancy hormones - normally I can watch things like this with no reaction but this made me cry. It gave me hope and courage to not knock an unmedicated birth off the table completely.
Aw congrats!!! I absolutely loveddd my unmedicated birth experience 🥹
I don't comment on video ever but this was so beautiful. I am 28 weeks and ready to meet my little girl. ❤
