I just gave birth to my first baby in August of 2023 and your calm, unmedicated, and Christ-centered birth was my biggest source of inspiration. I was so excited to watch the birth of your second! I couldn't help but smile when you were in the tub talking about your baby's head; You seriously ROCKED this! Congratulations to you and your family on this sweet new addition! I’m praying my marriage might be miraculously restored and that my husband and I might have a miracle baby , one that The Enemy doesn’t want us to even be able to hope for . The births where the mother is drawing close to God and worshipping Father God in the midst if her travail, seem to be a lot more calm and peaceful. Soaking in his grace and peace is powerful to watch, I imagine it is even stronger felt in person. This was beautiful and I thank you for sgaring it with us. "Why would I ever want to go to a hospital to give birth?" EXACTLY!!
German midwife here and I keep advocating for birth centres and home births, because they have so so many advantages compared to hospital births and are calmer, more beautiful, more self determined and they are mother and child focused, instead of clinical, loud, sterile and medical-focused. I gave birth to my first in the birth centre and to my second at home. Number three will be born at home as well. I spend years working in the delivery ward in the hospital so I do know that in a hospital are many standardised clinical routines that I would never ever want for my own births.
I’m currently 40 weeks and 2 days and plan to give birth at a birth center as well. She is my first. Thank you so much for sharing these amazing and intimate moments. It’s truly giving me peace that I can do it. It’s not easy when everyone knows the due date and asks me daily what’s happening. Your story inspires me and has me so excited to experience a calm, unmedicated birth. ❤

I truly believe this is the most beautiful birth I have ever seen! I’m 37 weeks and I’m planning for a home birth this time. I just cried my eyes out. I feel like I could feel everything you felt. This was absolutely beautiful, this will be my second baby also. God Bless!!! Amazing, amazing job!!!

Amazing 😭❤ I remember watching your last birth vlog and being soo motivated to go unmedicated (my plan all along but i was so scared because of my previous experience) I gave birth 7 months ago unmedicated in a birth center and it was the most amazing experience. I loved seeing this birth compared to your first! I teared up *for* you in your first birth when you were laboring so hard and she had to apologize bc you weren't as dilated as they thought. Any of us who have ever given birth know what that can feel like/be like after working so hard. I love how you stayed persistent and got your natural birth.

Congratulations!! I had my second 14 months after my first (traumatic induction) too and remember watching your unmedicated birth vlog with your first born to help encourage myself to do unmedicated with my second and I was able to! Now expecting #3 this summer and praying for the same!

So peaceful and beautiful... this is the kind of energy I want to embody during my next birth. My baby was born at home on January 22 this year and I could barely cope by the time transition hit. I roared her out and my husband was scared I would wake the neighbours lol

@@MadelineMolt Thank you this will most likely be my last. 🥰 I have two girls that are 22 and 19. I am 41 and I had three miscarriages before this over the years. With this baby, I started bleeding at eight or nine weeks and it ended up being a sub chorionic hemorrhage, but I thought it was another miscarriage. Thankfully, it resolved by the second trimester, and this baby’s heart has been so strong. I am having another girl and her name is Ariah Lynn. Can’t wait to meet her! 💕I love watching your pregnancy videos! 🙂🙏🏼 Congrats!

This is such a beautiful video. Well done and thankyou for sharing. I do have one comment about the bath- they should have filled that bath much more. It was very shallow. I'm a midwife- the water needs to come up much higher so you minimise chances of part of baby being born into air accidentally before being submerge in water. This can cause baby to gasp and aspirate water

Obviously you are enjoying your sweet baby and family but I would love to hear your experiences with both birth center and hospital births! I’m trying to decide this time around!
I had a great hospital experience with my first (which I don’t think is a normal experience for having an unmedicated hospital birth). With that being said, I personally LOVED being at the birth center wayyy more. It was just so comfortable and peaceful! I think I’ll end up doing a whole video on my hospital vs birth center experience if people are interested, but that’s my answer in short🥰 hope that kinda helps!!!
