I am a retired US hospitalist. I can't comment on your specific case, because one shouldn't make a determination without access to all available information. I find that many civilian Bluetooth EKG devices can be of very high quality. Even watches with heart rate monitors can be helpful. With a good story and a EKG tracing, further investigation with more sophisticated equipment is often indicated. There are EKG devices about the size of a walnut that tape to the skin of the chest. After a few days of recording, they are mailed in for analysis. There are also small implantable devices with telemetry for longer monitoring. Pacemakers and defibrillators have become exceedingly sophisticated. Some will attempt overdrive pacing (with a higher rate pacing signal) to terminate a ventricular tachycardia prior to applying defibrillation (shock) if unsuccessful. A kind of electrophysiologist in a box.

The threshold for performing additional cardiac testing in a person of your age and medical history should be very low. The probability of finding something significant is very high. Falls, car accidents, etc. should be avoided.

26:02 Yup, same thing here, that High contrast dye with the radiation stuff in it. Not a great time for me. And that was maybe 20 years ago.

Micheal they use Propofol. I have had extreme reactions to this where I arrested. They had to use Narcan to bring me out of it. I to have had adverse reactions to CT contrast dye.

Hi Tom, it's good to know I'm not alone on the CT contrast dye. I had a feeling I was the first to have an issue with it. Sorry to hear you had arrested while on your Beta Blockers. That really is extreme. How was that resolved? A change of tablet, or a lower dose, or both, if you don't mind me asking?

Interesting, I know of a similar story and the gentleman got the pacemaker and sure enough it really didn't fix his problem. I'm not sure where he's at on the issue now.

Medical science can work so well for many people, but we all know of someone that has been less lucky sadly.

Have you still not connected the dots....if fish suddenly start dying in a pond...the 1st question a microbiologist will ask is ...*"who poisoned the fish"*
You story is rymes to mine....and many others since 2021.

Psalm 118... _It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man._
The medical system in Aus and NZ is run by the government, the Drs' diagnose as per the government directives. The Drs' are merely administrators and thinking for themselves is not in their best interests. In business, we call it a conflict of interest....the government, DRs' and patient have different interests
I eventually went overseas as well as turning to non-mainstream medical fraternity and only then started to get some answers
