I watched this video before my ICU interview and it helped me so much! It prepared me to think of my own scenarios and experiences. Three weeks after my interview, I was offered an RN position in the surgical trauma Pediatric Intensive Care Unit as a new grad! Thank you so much for all your help! 😊❤️
I really appreciate this video because it's REAL and very helpful to the average person fixing to walk into a nerve-racking interview, especially when you don't have superb communication skills or your like me and you become tachy and feel like blacking out when you're in the spotlight. You can read interview tips all day long but THIS was more helpful to me than any of it and reminds me that we are all human and we all get nervous and may not have the perfect response to EVERY question but we can get through it...you did outstanding btw! I just got my license a few weeks ago and I appreciate fellow nurses/students that share these types of experiences.
Being a nurse in the ICU is my dream job and watching this is so amazing and I'm very thankful that you decided to post this! Also, I'm so glad you got the job, you deserved it

If I hadn't read the vid description, I would have never guessed that you thought interviews were scary and tough. From the vid itself, you appeared extremely confident and in your element. Nice work.
Your interview was amazing!! You deserve the job. You just seem like a genuinely lovely person who cares about people. The world needs more nurses like you. You had great answers. Made me feel a little less nervous about interviews. I'm applying for new graduate positions at the moment, and will have interviews in August/September. 🙂 Thank you for sharing your experience.
So happy you got the job. You're a better interviewer than you give yourself credit for. No stuttering, no apparent nervousness, great job. (Your cat was on the edge oh his seat, huh lol)
Best kind of video ever!! I'm so glad you decided to post a video like this. It helped me a lot & I'm sure many others as well. Interviews have always felt intimidating for me & this gave me a bit more courage. I really hope you get the job, you really deserve it. You're one of those extraordinary nurses who are really passionate about their job!! Lol I'm currently still in school, hoping to apply to nursing school in a year. I strive to be in your shoes one day. Thanks so much for the again for video!!! 💞

I'm glad to see that your interviewer was optimistic and laughed with you here and there to make the mood uplifting. This was fun and refreshing to watch, and it'll definitely help me with my future interviews. Thank you!
I found you a little too late but I'm glad I found you now. I'm having my second ever job interview for a big hospital. I'll watch this right before my interview again just so I can hopefully adopt your mannerism and not seem nervous. Thank you so much for this!
Ashley. Look how far you've come! This is so cool to see. I'm a senior in HS taking a CNA course to begin my experience in the medical world. I will become an RN in about five years. You are an inspiration! :)
That was amazing. I get super nervous during interviews and always end up answering questions in the shortest ways possible, but you were great with explaining your answers.. please make an interview tips video
You did a great job with those very difficult questions - that nurse leader that did the questions was great too! What great questions and could easily sort people out that may not be right for that position. Thank you Ashley!!
I appreciate you putting this out there! Very courageous. I have my first Graduate Nurse interview today and I've been trying to watch videos to figure out what kind of questions I might be asked and this is incredibly helpful. You did great. :) I'm hoping now I will be less tongue-tied at my interview.

Of course I prepared a lot for the interview myself but I can say that this is the best resourse for those who is waiting for upcoming interview. I just played this video over and over again until I met interviewers and I became so confident. Listen to tone of her voice carefully, look at her gestures and the beautiful smile. Imagine you're the girl in this video. Set your mind. You will get what you want. Thanks Ashley!

You are amazing! Thanks for this video, it was really inspiring to watch! I have my first ever graduate RN interview tomorrow. Hoping your confidence is contagious! :)
I've been in the medical field for almost 16 years and now I'm working my way into the hospital setting as a CNA. Had my interview today, but the lead nurse had the least interest into asking me much of anything. She barely skimmed through the top of my resume. I had handed her a little portfolio. She called another nurse and asked her, "wanna read through this? Do you have any questions?" 😱 I was glad when the interview was over. She seemed stressed and her patience ran thin, like she has way too much 💩 on her hands to have to take the time to interview candidates. The other nurse was so nice and friendly. We made small talk about the suddenly change in the weather. I complemented her make up as I was leaving and she had a big smile.
Thank You Ms Ashley, you did great in your interview and answers straight to the point, smart and confident, thank you for sharing this video, It'll be of great help to all other nurses out there.❤
This interview was INTIMIDATINGLY good. You should be proud.
