NEW VIDEO 2022: DYSON vs HONEYWELL vs DREO - ruclips.net/video/k0e7vdphUi8/видео.html Hi. Please take the time to leave a like and a comment, I usually always respond ! 😀
IMHO Dyson fans are a lot like Apple fans in that they behave like people in a cult. There is little objective criticism of the products and instead a lot of mindless fawning over the product regardless of the actual quality. It just has the right brand name on it....thus it's "good".
Thanks a lot for the great review. I'm ashamed to say that I was under the impression that it actually has a cooling function. I actually explained it to my wife that way 5 minutes ago before I watched your video. I appreciate your passion for honesty
Merci beaucoup, TEKDAD! For the practical cats among us, an engineering perspective is worth its weight in gold. I also appreciate that you offered both an objective and a subjective analysis - not many reviewers do.
It isn’t worth it. The full price I mean. Some people will say otherwise however since it’s subjective. But the truth, just buy a portable AC at that price or try find the Dyson on mega sale.
@@TEKDAD portable ACs are not the solution if you don't have a way to get rid of the hot air (e.g. if you can't blast a hole in your wall), cause then you'll just heat up your room even more while you think you're cooling. And mobile ACs are seriously dangerous if you have a gas boiler in your house!!!
I know but a lot of customers believe otherwise unfortunately mainly because of the price. Like, at that price, it’s surely cooling for real. I see a lot of comments like this and even some believe the dyson fan is AC.
Was hoping it would blow out cool air but seeing as how it doesn’t, F. You’d think for the price it could essentially work like a portable air conditioner.
A good ceiling fan, lol. They are the best no doubt. But if you can’t have that, a good 80-100$ fan from a company like Honeywell should do the job. By the way, old style round fans are less sexy but more effective than tower fans.
Found mine on the sidewalk! Cleaned the turbine and it works nicely. It looks like about 30euros worth of parts for the whole thing. The motor is small and high rpm. Probably the ‘toughest’ part of the build is balancing the turbine before assembly. It has marks on it. The motor is suspended on springs and there is foam on the base to absorb noise. Even Though it is very cheap to make, there is quality autocad work beforehand. The fluid dynamics engineers did rather well! Now I need to find a remote :) Merci !
Nice find !! It’s a cool and nice fan. The engineering concept is great also. Just the price I can’t digest ;) I think they have a patent on the concept so they can make us pay for it.
i had one of these and will tell you now - a cheap 20$ fan does basically the same if not even better. This is just a high tech version of the desktop fan but with a higher price tag. Its something Apple wishes it had come up with as its a good money spinner for a cheap product. I actually returned mine back to the shop as i could not justify the price and i brought a cheap fan from B and Q
Have 2 sets of this model. They require regular servicing and spoiler alert its not cheap..... cause Dyson. After awhile the rotation work so well it won't stop moving even when you want it to. One of my models even continues rotating after you switch it off.
I have used Dyson hair dryers and they're amazing. The hair even feels different and lighter and smoother compared with regular hair dryers.. Worth the price. That's why ended up searching for a Dyson fan
*Great product **Fastly.Cool** if power goes out or just want🤣🤣 some air circulation. 🥰🥰🥰Safe around children. Has different colored lights. USB charge excellent buy*
thanks for honest and open review. I would have expected better product as it is a Dyson. I’m an avid Dyson fan and saw it was on sale with $100 off. so glad I watched your review, saved me from buying this fan.
I mean you’re paying for a bladeless fan - the point isn’t that it “cools” or not... it beats a fan because it doesn’t have exposed blades or grate. No dust. No crap. For that alone I think it’s worth the price.
TEKDAD - Tech & VR Reviews Dyson seems to use the same plastic for everything and honestly its magic. We have 2 vacuums, a hair dryer, and this fan. It’s perfect.
Honestly there’s still dust. I have a Dyson fan, used for 3 years and dust has accumulated on the blades. Maybe it collects less dust than exposed blades fan.
Legendary Wizard i have a honeywell and the dyson. the honeywell looks like a halloween decoration for a creepy attic after one day. the dyson barely has anything after a few weeks and a quick wipe of the grate and it’s clean.
I had the table top version of this fan (Dyson Air Multiplier AM06 Table Fan, 10 Inches) but I had to return it due to the led display at the bottom being so bright at night, in which this model seems to have the same exact led light as well. The led display light on the table fan version was SO BRIGHT at night that it was a distraction. I mean, it was super bright! Wondering how the led display on this model is at night? Nobody ever seems to talk about the led displays on fans with how low or dim the brightness is at night.
Thank you for an honest review. I bought this on the strength of the Dyson name and regret it. It is, I agree, at least misleading to name your product “Dyson cool” when in actual fact it does zero cooling.
I'd love to have one of these. High tech fan! Better than your average regular fan. But it is expensive! NZ$499! It's safer in which you won't have to worry about getting injured by a moving fan blade regardless of the blade cage in traditional fans. You can still squeeze a finger through, especially for kids.
That model is definitely more high tech than this one. It cost even more but at least, it’s high tech ;) the AM07 is not. By the way, I like my Dyson fan, I just can’t recommend it at full price. But money is very subjective.
Excellent review. I purchased mine for top dollar..I agree it is not worth the money. A few years later past warranty the oscillator has stopped. Dyson could only tell me to buy a new one with a 20% discount. LMFAO
I love your honesty. Im buying it because i have 2 babies and dont want their fingers stuck. Thats really the only reason instead of buying a 20$ fan 🤷🏻♀️
I just picked up this fan up at a GW for $37.49! It works but it needs to be taken apart and cleaned. Does anyone know if the tower's white & gray pieces come apart? It looks like it does, but I've had no luck and i don't want to break it. Great review thank you!
Thanks for the honest review, I'll hold onto the product - I just wanted to make sure I'm not insane that it's so stupidly loud at 10 - which I feel like I was lied to with the "Cool" part too. Will definately think twice in future when you see a fancy product with a stupid price tag

Ha Ha Ha LUV your review. I actually have one and you are so right. It's the alternative for a good sleep only at low speed otherwise the swish sound will drive you crazy. Honestly not worth the $$$
Just checked on Canadian Tire for a fan, I wondered why this one was over 400$, and you provided exactly the information I was looking for. This should be 100-120$ max price, since it brings at least 2 good advantages: Distant flow and how clean this type of system is, beside those, it's only plastic as any other.
The air sucking openings are very low on this machine and very near to the ground, so I'm wondering if this is actually blowing all the dust from the ground around the place. Also, is this turbine easy to open and to clean inside every once in a while? Coz every ventilator gets dusty blades after some time of operation, and not removing it is not only unhealthy, but also reduces air blowing efficiency dramatically.
Great review. Ha e you seen the fan offered at Canadian Tire? NOMA Bladeless HEPA Filter Oscillating 10-Speed Air Purifier. Looks like a Dyson, Way lower price point. Can't find any reviews on it tho.
Great, honest review and a "cool" follow up to your unboxing "bag test" one. I agree with the build quality issues. From Vacs to fans, Dyson should match their high end design and engineering work with quality materials. If you pay a premium you expect more than something a knockoff company can make just as well after patents expire. Glad I found this channel! Plus French Canadian for the win!
wait... this thing puts out more air than the traditional fan? i remember testing one of these and im totally not impressed... how about the vornado hype? is it really better than traditional fans?
It doesn’t really push more air than a traditional fan. What I tried to explain is that it works by amplify the air volume. It’s pushing a low volume of air with the ‘motor’ and it’s amplified with the shape of the fan. But the end results is similar with any good fan. I’m talking about Dyson. For the vornado, I need to try that !
I mean, a good tower fan here in Canada is maybe 100-125$. I paid mine like 175$ and I think It included taxes (15%). At that price, yes, it’s not cheap but it’s a Dyson and it looks great. However, I would have never paid the 450$ plus tax here for a new one.
You are asking too much for 400$ 😂😂😂 (I’m ironic...). Seriously, you have to pay even more to get this feature.... The DYSON PURE has that for example.
Bonjour! vous m'avez épargné une déception.... ;) pourriez-vous nous donner un conseil quant à un produit plus efficace ? segment : "cooler" + purification de l'air of course :D
Will the Dyson be OK to push the cold air from 1 room to another? I have wall AC in 1 room but it struggles to cool down the temp in the 2nd room. And I'm looking for some fan to push the cold air.
The Dyson is a good fan but the price is objectively not justified, at less than 200$, ok maybe. You can try an Honeywell for like 80$. Don’t go super cheap however as it would sound like a mower ;) the best is a ceiling fan.
I didn't have it more than 1 month. He is right it grinds even though I got it free at level 8 it grinds. You have to consistently clean the fan. If you have animals don't buy.
Technically doesn’t any ceiling fan not have a cooling mechanism? Don’t all fans make some noise? All fans to me just seem supplementary to an air conditioner. Like, if you turn your AC off in the summer, but have your fan on...it’s still going to be hot AF.
Other manufacturer don’t put the word COOL on the packaging to make it look like a more advanced product than a simple fan. Some are mistaken because Dyson sells a HOT/COOL fan that does actually heat.

Sir is the vornado fan a better fan than this overpriced unacceptable fan?
Didn't test it unfortunately. The Dyson fan is a good fan just grossely overpriced ! Sorry for the late reply.

@@TEKDAD Seems like it's better to get one fan and one purifier separately that does a great job at each instead of combo option anyhow.

It’s a fan that blows air in a fancy package. That’s it.
I have another more recent video on that alone.

The Dyson is a good fan but the price is objectively not justified, at less than 200$, ok maybe. You can try an Honeywell for like 80$. Don’t go super cheap however as it would sound like a mower ;) the best is a ceiling fan.
@@TEKDAD ended up getting the Honeywell HYF290E4 - we love it already. Looks decent and about a 3rd of the cost of the dyson am07 👍
Don’t apologise for accent bro. Thank you for your honest review though! 🙏🏽
Thank you.
TEKDAD You’re welcome.
dude. i love your video.
Where did you get your shirt?
And, thank you for the review.
A gift from my wife... 😉 local big store I think.
I didn't have it more than 1 month. He is right it grinds even though I got it free at level 8 it grinds. You have to consistently clean the fan. If you have animals don't buy.
Wouldn’t wanna clog up a fan with hair, great review but I’ll be the first to say it haha
Thanks for your video. I was on the verge of buying one of these fans but I think I’ll just buy a portable ac unit instead.
Thanks again! 😊
For about the same price, you’ll be better with a portable AC to cool the room. Those with 2 hoses are much better by the way.
Nice review. Merci
This review is perfect.
Thanks
Technically doesn’t any ceiling fan not have a cooling mechanism? Don’t all fans make some noise? All fans to me just seem supplementary to an air conditioner. Like, if you turn your AC off in the summer, but have your fan on...it’s still going to be hot AF.
Other manufacturer don’t put the word COOL on the packaging to make it look like a more advanced product than a simple fan. Some are mistaken because Dyson sells a HOT/COOL fan that does actually heat.
@@TEKDAD Ah, true. What about the claims that this purifies the air in your room and is good for allergen-sensitive people?
This one doesn’t have that claim. You have to pay more for it (another model).
BTW loved your review. Thank you for telling people the actual TRUTH that Dyson is just not worth it.
You mean, Dyson Am07 .. not Dyson as a brand I presume, right? :D
