The fact that Kate McKinnon can act this straight for a whole skit is a true testament to her acting skill
Because you can't "act" a sexuality in real life, it's... literally not hard to "act straight"?? Whatever that means lol. Great actors simply act. That's all there is to it.

My husband marathon watches Morning Joe. I get so sick of it. The show is actually better when Joe is gone and it’s just Mika. Joe has an inflated ego and goes off on rambling commentaries while everyone looks at him like he’s God.
My wife used to do the same thing with Nancy Grace.... and Nancy was a Witch-On-Wheels.
My mom worshipped him. I watched the show with her for years but eventually realized that it's just sensational crap

I cannot believe they captured the Morning Joe show to a “T”, I always wondered how Joe cut off off EVERYBODY. I’m happy they exposed the show for what it is.
This - is - absolutely superb. The constant interruptions by Joe is mocked with perfection and Mika's tutting, moaning and groaning in the background is something else.
Alex Moffat deserves more credit than he gets.

Luis, They *barely* exaggerated how this happens on just about every news channel. I'm always left wondering why they bothered to have a guest come in for that spot in the first place.
I don't watch him on TV, but on the radio, Sean Hannity is the *worst* for talking all the way through a guest's spot. And if they're Liberal? Forget about it! He'll ask them a question, and if he doesn't like what they're saying, he'll cut them off and ask the same question over and over again. That keeps happening through the whole segment. And if they do happen to answer to Sean's satisfaction, he then spends the rest of the segment yelling at the guest about how wrong he is. I think it's safe to assume he does the same thing on his TV show.
And before anyone calls me awful names like, Democrat, or Liberal, or Progressive, I'm a staunch Conservative. I just don't need Hannity or the rest of Fox News to tell me how, or what, to think. The whole channel isn't that bad, but it's too hard to find when they're actually doing news and not opinion, that I just don't tune in. I do check out the website a couple times a week, though. It's much easier sorting news from opinion there.

Also, I've never seen Leslie Jones play Oprah before, (of course I hardly watch anymore, so I don't know if she's played her before or not) but the resemblance is uncanny, and I think if she worked on her voice a bit more, she would go down as one of the best impersonations in SNL history. I really thought she was that good.

Unless you're actually interested in making real change, one flavor of partisan hackery (Bannon) is indistinguishable from the next (Mika/Joe/Wolff/Oprah). They can all go flush themselves.

The only mistake Bill Murray made was smiling here and there. Bannon doesn’t smile/can’t smile. It’s one of the most haunting things about him.

Seems he couldn't help it and it's understandable. The sketch was just too good.
One other miss I noticed was he was clean-shaven. Yeah I know the real Bannon finally got around to it but know what they say about first impressions. Wouldn't have been that hard to just miss a couple of days for effect.

That pretty much sums up Joe, loves to hear himself talk, loves mentioning his brief political episode in the ‘90’s, and then when he’s being called out, the volume of his voice increases and his face turns pink. Mika’s pretty spot on as well, only chimes in with her feelings instead of arguments/opinions, constantly reminding you of that midwestern suburban Christian mom that held up the line at Macy’s because her coupon expired.

Leslie had been on 5yrs and she was ready to move on , she was offered more lucrative challenges, she said in an interview when she was plugging her new grocery shopping show that sometimes she out in 80hrs rehearsing sketches.
The casual telling of the "Baby races" was flawless and so outrageous but believable ..Trump "$1000.00 on the black one" I'm done.

Laptop Menace I really feel like whoever is in charge of the SNL RUclips channel creates fake profiles to write positive reviews. Almost all of the sketches sucked. Keenan acting as Lavar Ball was the only funny thing that happened.
