Joe is too full of himself. For a long time he didn't let Mika join the discussions he would have with the men.She would just sit there for most of the show and announce the next segment before they went to commercials.Lately she has been allowed to comment from time to time. I never could understand why she allowed herself to be treated that way. What a shock it was to hear that they are in a relationship.

I was so surprised when I saw that. Every time Mika and Joe finishes Morning Joe, Mika spends her leisure time in her backyard-turned chicken coop, while her husband Joe has time to kick back to play rock and roll music. Impressive.

You should. This is why I totally abhor the "unfair/salary discrepancy" movement bs between men and women in the workplace when the women themselves do not have the audacity to ask for a raise in the first place. Some of them are too scared.

@@legallybl0wn Because they make it seem as if men as a whole are systematically keeping women down, when the reality is women are never assertive, don‘t know how to deal with failure, and when failure occurs, they don’t know how to grow from it in a material and actionable fashion.
Thus they always rely on society, or some other group dynamic, outside of themselves.
Which is never going to be efficient and effective, leaving those women ultimately dependent.
It’s sad.
I’m not raising my kid or any future kids like that, boy or girl.
Independency is what’s needed.
Translation: improve your skills and/or obtain a better job or start your own business, then if you still wanna _raise_ in your current position, at least you’ll have material, actionable, leverage before -asking,- -begging for,- -requesting,- renegotiating your current compensation, and making your employer fully aware of your real market value.
It’s not a personal dynamic, it’s a material and actionable one.
A lot of women and some men, don’t really get that.
It’s really an education, tactics and experience problem not a grand, oppressive, patriarchal one.
Mika dresses men down with her eyes and body language in such a way that they want to keep her around. If a guy would do this he would referred to as a creep when in fact he might just be innocently doing this. I don’t think she does this intentionally.

I'm just old fashioned. I don't want to see people who just some home wrecking attempting to grind work on the next person before sealing the official deal with the person they just cheated with.
