Even a genius is entitled to A Bad Day every once in a while. It simply serves to show the world that he or she is indeed human, contrary to the claims of that genius's most fanatical fans.
We ❤You Pogo - Good Days & Bad.
    Hang tough, Maestro.

It wasn't just a bad day. He plays like this now every day. Sad, he used to be amazing.

@@golden-63 Ivo Pogorelich was never the same after the death of his wife Aliza Kezeradze in 1996. She was also his teacher, mentor and much more. She studied piano with Franz Liszt's last pupil and was well known in Russia both as a pianist and a music pedagogue.
He was at her bedside when she died of liver cancer. She didn't simply "pass away" peacefully, however. The scenario at her death was horrific beyond belief. You can read about it online if you wish.
I just hope that Mr. Pogorelich can continue to perform in public. Fortunately he has a source of income from his earlier recordings.

@@golden-63 That is an exaggeration. You're missing a lot with this attitude. But there is a lot of banging in this one.
