Most suspicious thing about Su’s death? Nobody reported her missing after she left to buy them sandwiches and never returned. Did they forget she was buying them sandwiches?
exactly! still no justice www.boston25news.com/news/new-englands-unsolved/huge-reward-still-offered-taraskiewicz-murder-investigation-after-28-years/E7XDAAKNTNHDHI37SYIPW2WKZ4/
Ugh. People can really suck sometimes.
Yes. Sad. I wish she had just quit after filing a lawsuit.
So true
Most likely they could of been moving illegal crap from airplanes and with her there it had to stop. Corruption everywhere.
I grew up in Saugus, about 2 years older than Susan. Her death has always bothered me and have seen her mother pleading for answers. My heart goes out to her, RIP Susan. 💙
❤❤No, I don't believe you hat, I don't,t believe for Evil Aaron Presley to have had a twin
Hey I'm from Saugus originally too! Defected to the granite state yrs ago, thank christ.
I was a kid when this first aired, and I never forgot the woman who almost froze to death. I’m amazed she survived.
Same! As a kid, this episode has always stuck with me too! I was so intrigued! Crazy to see someone else had the same experience.
It wasn’t her time and God through all that Prayer heard and answered, He still performs miracles, I am one too❤️🙏❤️
The concept of this kind of “miracle” makes no sense to me. If God wanted her to live why allow her to almost freeze to death in the first place? Seems like an unnecessarily theatrical way to go about it lol
And why save this particular lady when there are thousands of kids at any given moment dying of completely preventable causes - many of whom are prayed for just as desperately as she was? Has she done anything all that remarkable for humankind since her recovery? Or is it that just her friends happen to follow the one right religion out of thousands of others and God only listens to them?
The fact that Jean didn’t die is AMAZING & How was Su being missing not get reported since her coworkers were waiting for sandwiches???????
Jean's story has, always, been one of my favorites from Unsolved Mysteries. I, definitely, believe in the power of prayer.
Su's workplace wasn't a toxic one, but a dangerous one. The reason why the airline company refused to participate on Unsolved Mysteries because they knew what was going on and didn't try to intervene. The union was also in on it too and their union was probably corrupted.
One hand washes the other.
she died for no reason.....because of some pos macho bigot guy? i hate people like that, i wasn't raised to harass women like wth is wrong with people?!
Don't worry NW Airlines got bought out by Delta Airlines and the trash of NW Airlines is gone
I totally think that as well. Crime is big business
My dad used to work with su at Logan, he's been there since the 80s ,he was a ramp supervisor at delta around 92 I think, I've grown up following this case because we live the next town over from where su was from in Saugus. Hopefully they eventually find out what happened to her and give her mom and family some closure.
I really hope so. It's not right how the police just dropped the case. Su deserves justice and her family deserves closure. RIP ♥
Hope you and your dad are doing well ♥!
he should mention the names of the ppl that were harassing her other than the 1s mentioned
My dad was a ramp sup at delta, Su worked for northwest which at the time was a different company delta didn't buy NW until 2008, he didn't know her personally he just kind of knew her in passing, so if here were other people involved besides the ones that have already been looked into I'm sure he wouldn't have the slightest idea.
Blows my mind the 90s were over 30 years ago, 3 DECADES. Yet my mind thinks of the 60s or 70s as a time far gone since I wasn’t alive then so the brain equates that to be a time in the past. Grew up in the 80s and was a teen in the 90s. Can’t believe it.
Are there suspects that people close to the case have ? Bobby?
That frozen woman scene, scared me as a kid. So freaky.
@Crim Sin We wish. I'm a native of northern South Dakota where temps of -40 are routine, and this looks pretty accurate to me. Jean's story helped me take my father's excellent advice, "Never ever no not EVER leave your car in arctic temperatures no matter how close you think someplace is," and "Always make sure someone knows where you're going, what route you're taking, and when you expect to get there," seriously when travelling before the time of cellphones.
Pro tip: if you hit the ditch, don't idle your car nonstop. Turn it off once in a while, crack a window, and make sure your tailpipe isn't covered by snow or brush. Please do not leave your car!!
She’s an asshole, and it’s good that she tells others of her dumb ass story
FlixCreEightR glad she made it
Me too
Pray to Jesus Christ everyday.
I don’t understand murder. Why can’t we live in peace and harmony? Evil people in this world!
I'll never understand it either.
Evil yes.
some people are born as psychopaths. they learn how to fake empathy, yet never actually understand or feel it. its little known that psychopaths and sociopaths are actually a significant part of the population. they are literally pretending. they dont comprehend human suffering but can understand something like money. its why you find heartless people up in big business or trying to mislead people into voting for them. theyre so good at it that people often vote against their own best interests. people are very very manipulatable because they operate on an emotional level with emotional weaknesses - but psychopaths dont. and they are skilled manipulators.
Because this is far from being utopia. We are living in the garden of good and evil. The time machine is a perfect example of what the criminal elites want us to be like. Zombie like brainless people waiting for the swamp creatures to eat us up. Lol
Just demonic ! Men are so hateful at times !
This one is a CLASSIC. The frozen lady lives rent free in my memories.
Identify with Su’s ordeal at Northwest. As former female airline ramp agent in the late 1990’s-2000’s, women were still viewed as not being welcome. There were some who accepted us but most of the time we had to load airplanes by ourselves while 5-6 guys watched us, had to find equipment if we were the ramp lead, tolerated brutal verbal sexual harassment in the break rooms and see the graphic graffiti in the cargo holds. We weren’t taken seriously until it was end of shift and we’d get asked to go to the bars. When we refused we were called names. Either way we couldn’t win. Things changed when more females were hired and became supervisors and ramp managers.
Queens 👸 power right there!
Good that a lot of the behavior changed. That's just not right to treat women that way.
Wow. People can really SUCK! GEEZ. Never give up.
Being stranded like Jean is a terrible way to be stranded. I ran out of gas in the winter in North Carolina and that was scary.
Cars should have some sort of emergency fuel system. Never run below 1/8. Fuel pumps burn out.
Lady in the first story reminds me of that movie UNBREAKABLE. I bet she never gets sick and she never broke a bone in her life.
Really wish there was an update for Matt Flores. This case always bothered me.
Same. I find it interesting that his mother seems to think it was related to his time in the military. Especially given the fact that when you ask the military about his records they have been deleted.
@@Meriysi most likely they were complicit. There’s too many cases of military cover up, just look at the recent cases of military personal being found dead under mysterious circumstances. They have the power and connections to sweep 🧹 things under the rug.
Matt Flores murder was a hit job.
@@Meriysi Where did you get that? Not saying you are wrong, I just didnt hear the mom say anything like that in this segment.
Me too. I think it was a botched hit. I doubt the military would screw that up as they knew what Matt looked like. If I was the detective on this case, I would look at every single employee who owned a white car and dig into their lives and see if someone wanted THEM dead. Clearly the Ford Explorer driver focused in on the wrong car and killed the wrong guy.
Like Robert Stack couldn't sound more badass..then he picks up the sawed off shotgun...
Robert Stack was at one time one of the greatest with a shotgun in the world.
He liked skeet shooting.
What minute is that at? I was listening and not watching and now can't find it!

@@jakedoc4610 what's it called? Cuz I wanna watch it?
Those nurses and doctors are getting a little short changed in that first story I think.
This old show we now know ppl can comeback being so cold cpr cases 4 hours non stop but yeap them thawing her out saved her life
As of 2021, the Matt Flores case remains unsolved. Matt was only supposed to be in Silicon Valley for training and was going to be transferred to Dallas, TX. Authorities did an extensive background check on him and even his family from growing up in RI, to being based in GA while he was in the military and obviously his time in CA, yet nothing was found. His wife and daughter moved back to the East Coast shortly after the killing. Would be nice if the authorities released the actual surveillance video, as its been almost 30 years.
no one looked into the military history?
2021 and still nothing? That's amazing. I can't even begin to think what his family has been going through with this being unresolved 30 years after the fact. That would have driven me crazy by now.
His wife probably had him killed by her side man
@@joeydepalmer4457 exactly, so much shady stuff happens on military bases. He either saw something he shouldn't have or was involved in something he shouldn't have been. Seems like a good guy so my guess is he knew of some bad stuff going on and was killed to prevent that info from getting out.
@@huntand ya and not just down in the usa. in canada as well. probably even more so because it was almost like what it was like in the soviet union up here.
The only man you'll ever hear me say "That's s pretty man" is Elvis. I can see why women loved him, well, and his voice and moved. For a man so gifted, he was one of the most cursed. And no one sings Gospel better, or with more heart. My mother cried and couldn't eat the supper she has just cooked, and just sit to eat, when that blue screen came on. "This is a special interruption! Elvis Presley has just died". My mom got up from the table, and sat in her chair and cried. My mom seldom cries.
He was a homosexual, just like you ...🤔
Not quite. Elvis was a man! I dated a cousin of his who's death was also brought about by drug abuse. Sadly it runs in the family. He very much looked like Elvis and had the same recklessly wild personality
@@keithbannister9271 it's 2024, you can come out of the closet now. Actually, with your comment, you just did.
Everything about Elvis was SUPERIOR than anyone I can think of. Imagine a TWIN! OMG!
Masterful episode. I was surprised by the connection that the twin brothers have.
I liked Elvis.
Rule number one of snow car crashes: Never leave your car unless it's dangerous (it's in the middle of the road, or on fire). Being from MN, she should have known that.
Apparently God was cool with saving her life, but couldn’t be bothered to give her basic common sense or survival skills.
Sue sounds like she was a remarkable woman. RIP 🕊
Nurse's do deserve more credit.
Yes They Do.
I strongly agree
Nurses kept me sane and calm during my first surgery when I thought I was dying after a car accident. I still remember her looking me in the eye, holding my arm and telling me " *Hey* - You're gonna be okay. We've got you". I was immediately calmed down, I sighed in relief, and faded back out from the anesthesia (or whatever they used to keep me under). She was my angel.
When I woke up, the pain was much better, the operation was complete, and the nurses were gone.
I wish I could hug that woman and thank her. She really helped me. I never forgot her face and voice. Thank you to good nurses everywhere, you are the glue that holds hospitals together and keeps patients sane, happy, and healthy ♥.
A few years ago I heard Matt Flores daughter graduated from college with honors. In fact there was a news story about it and I saw the video on RUclips they also mentioned Matt Flores unsolved case.
Look at those BEAUTIFUL blue eyes on Matt Flores. Omg, GORGEOUS
You're delusional.
Yes he was gorgeous.
He was very handsome...
@Mz Redd true. Beautiful couple...
Blue eyes are not beautiful
I am still watching Susan, I thought I was gonna skip those that are not about her, but ended up curious watching the Jean story and that's cool she survived, it made me cry joy and luckily she had no digit amputations, yay!
A series with substance, helped Solve several cases too. Thanks for uploading.
Use to love this show as a kid.
2 Elvis Presley is more than this world could cope with
Su’s case was so upsetting- no one did anything for her not even with the harassment. Poor good woman. RIP ❤️🕊🙏🏻
Mark Flores’ case was just horrible too - when they can’t find the murderer makes me harder for the family to have closure.
Unfortunately both of Matt’s parents have now passed away. They never got to see justice.
Flores wife probably Hired a hitman had a man on the side she got away with murder white privilege
I Agree 😢
That Twin thing with Elvis was really impressive. I bet that the Soul of his Brother was leading him through life, and that's why he was so successful.
He needed 1 true friend. He needed that brother! RIP KING ELVIS.
Twins have always fascinated me.
I'm glad this new season was uploaded (thank you), but as others pointed out that new theme/intro absolutely sucks! A lot of the chilling atmosphere disappeared when they started using the new music and new presentation. 😕
Who (fu&k%$g care,s)
@@mikesmith2938 I know I know, what matter are the segments and the stories told....but still, the theme was part of the show's identity and atmosphere. It's questionable as to why they changed it.
I may be the minority, but this theme is probably the creepiest out of all of the UM themes. I love it and honestly wish it was used more often.
The first theme was the best and creepiest plus if you watched UM from the beginning the attachment to that theme carries weight well beyond the years ...
@@ozbot87 i agree this mid 90s theme was the creepiest version to me especially the foggy ghostly graphics!! I noticed the seasons that this theme ran seemed to have more ghost segments maybe that way the reason for the audio and visual changes
I hope someone will come forward about Matt Flores. That poor baby daughter growing up without a father. Someone had to know what happened
37:51 YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE!
*Arrested without incident*
You can FEEL the sarcastic tone when the writer wrote that line. xD
my wife had fraternal twins and on one video ultra-sound it looks like a martial arts competition. they were duking it out.
bg81973 lol really? I guess space is at a premium...
Best regards for yout blooming family :)
same with us. Boy/girl twins were at war in the womb. Looked like the Alien chest-burster. they are the best thing that ever happened to us. They turn 4 on Halloween!
Sometimes the stronger twin is the only survivor. It's a weird natural selection process, twins battle in the womb. It comes from a time when humans may not have been able to support the upbringing of two offspring. A way to eliminate the competition. There are birds that have chicks and can only really raise one, so the stronger chick will bully the weaker one until it dies and the parents don't intervene. They just feed the stronger chick.
@@cantfindmykeys correct about egg laying animals. incorrect when you apply it to placental mammals.
The Elvis segment hits different after watching the movie. Unsolved Mysteries went deeper than the movie in how the death of his twin brother affected him
Susan's case is so sad, I will never understand where this visceral hatred some guys have for women who never did them any harm comes from.
They're undercover gays who secretly wish they were females

The Jean Hilliard story should've aired on Rescue 911.
It did. I'm 33 and remember seeing it on there as a kid
It is truly a miracle that she survived.

Yeah.I have to look that case up, hopefully I’ll get a positive update.Only thing i can think is that it was a case of mistaken identity, like they said in the segment.
@@johnsavedbygrace3998 In California, anything is possible. Some of the creepiest weirdest people I've ever encountered. I spent 10 years out there and came close to being killed on a couple of occasions. I wish the big one would hit and tear that state off.

I always looked forward to watching this when I was a kid. I loved the intro, the music, Stack's voice, the whole thing. Looking back, I wonder if it had to do with the scripts? Unsolved Mysteries always made the police look like the heroes, or you'd have the tough blue collar Middle American who comes to the rescue. When you're a kid, you gravitate to anything that makes success look possible.
I watched this when I was a kid too! Every day after school me and my sister would race home to catch it lol.
We loved getting scared by it. Now as an adult.. some of these are really sad. RIP Su ♥. Still an amazing show, and still gives me the creeps! I love Robert Stack.
Also, if you like this, check out - Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction? With Johnathan Frakes, it's great!
I don't know why but it stands out to me in Matt's case that his car and the 2 other cars in question were all American made cars, notably, the 2 cars in question were same make. Makes me wonder if they were rentals also. I don't know if this means anything but that is something that stood out to me.
how was the guy not fired right away from just walking into the break-room and throwing another persons radio against a wall?
Sue's story became a Law & Order: Criminal Intent episode.

I live very close to where Jean's story happened. Our winters can be very unbearable. I can affirm the power of prayer. My mom came extremely close to dying from Covid but we started a prayer chain and never once gave up hope that she was going to survive. We could not see her for several weeks which I believe allowed the situation to get so badly. However on my birthday, my dad tearfully told me we can finally see her. I know this was not a coincidence.
No such thing as a coincidence ❤️🙏❤️
I love this show..im watching it now..with my living room all dark..lite candles around me in a circle n eating pizza..
Lol best way to watch this show
I am also a twinless twin. I always wonder why I feel she is still alive
Sue should have just quit. Just wasn't worth it, especially if you aren't getting any help anywhere. Upper management needs to be held accountable
baselinebaz but is that worth dying for?
It wasnt worth her life and the killer has never been found what a shame
She should have moved on to a different company where she should have received the respect that she deserved.
The mob had to be involved. The mob ran scams out of JFK airport and infiltrated the unions
It would explain why this guy was a psycho killer and why the airport did nothing.
Yeah this is so crazy for no reason
The Elvis story always makes me cry. I'm a twinless twin and I feel a spiritual connection with my brother. So sad the Matt Flores case isn't solved, nor Sue's case either. What a wonderful community to pray for Jean in Minnesota, at an amazing story.

I'm also a twinless twin and I have a unique experience with this particular episode. I remember my twin and I watching it when it originally aired. It was the only time we talked about what we do if one of us passed away (we were in our teens - she passed when we were 22) I did join the Twinless Twin group for awhile until I realized it wasn't helping me to feel any better.
Life is so hard. I feel for you all. Just know that people who don't even know you care very much. Trust in the Lord. Bless you.

I wonder why the police didnt want Unsolved Mysteries to show the actual security cam footage. Sadly I think the Flores case will never be solved especially if the military was involved.
Exactly, I bet the military is involved.

I remember this episode. Love Robert Stack and this version.
The frozen woman's face always scared the fuck out of me. Forget the ghost stories. That frozen face still haunts me.
What an amazing medical team and kind folks who prayed for her.
Marvellous community.
I'm not religious but I just wanted to say, that was incredibly beautiful and sweet. When people say religion is all bad, I think to things like this. It's not all bad. It gives people faith, and if that helps? Then let it happen! Thanks to others who pray. Even though I'm confused in my beliefs and I may be a little lost from god, I see the kindness in the gesture, and I think it's really cool. I wish atheists would recognize that as something to be applauded, not mocked. It's beautiful.
@@neilreynolds17681 I totally agree. I don’t get why people think that saying certain words or begging a deity to spare a person is what causes the person to survive. Like their god has the ability to choose to save someone if enough people say the magic words. It’s insulting to the medical staff to give thanks to a non-corporeal being who just decided that this person should be spared and others shouldn’t. And those who aren’t saved by “god” are actually now angels In the sky because……god needed them more up there??? Yeah, no. They say god is all good and all powerful. Well, that doesn’t pass the smell test because if he were both, no innocent people would suffer. I’m so much happier since I stopped worrying that “god” was listening to my every thought and that I would most likely burn in hell because I wasn’t perfect.
Why the police arent allowing the public to see surveillance footage of the suspect vehicle?

Very sad about Su. Was hoping the case would be solved all the way thru🤞🏻She was quite a stunner and when the update theme came ‘twas a real bummer ) :
With Jean, I wonder if they attempted to at least try and cut off her frozen clothes. Also, from my understanding if a person falls into a frozen lake and makes it out, the first thing to do is take off all the wet clothes and get into a sleeping bag or wrap up in a blanket.
She didn't fall into a lake. She passed out on the front lawn of the person who's house she was trying to reach.
Wow I remember watching this exact episode as a kid. Had to watch it at my grandfathers place because my parents knew the show gave nightmares 😂

Bobby was a JERK! Boston Police need to look into and investigate Bobby. To unprofessionally go into the break room and grab Su's personal property and throw it against the wall showed his true colors of hostility. Bobby killed Su end of the story. I hope Karme pays him back. Rest In Peace Su

I've been in -30 weather. You couldn't be out in it more than 5 mins. 6hrs in -25, that's insane.
Su's case. It looked like she might have gotten close to that credit card scam.
With Matt Flores, police think it could be mistaken identity assuming the shooter was trying to shoot person in the 1st white car, but I felt it was opposite and the explorer came to kill Matt specifically. When the 1st white car pulled in, explorer followed thinking it was Matt. It was not, so the explorer went and parked again to wait for the next white car, which was Matt. It looks, to me, like the person was specifically targeting Matt. Maybe a rival for the new position that he got in his dream job. Someone passed over in place of him. Or any number of things, but I think it is much more likely (based on video recreation) that he was being targeted instead of a mistaken identity
Still no justice for SU Taraskiewicz and Matt Flores unsolved so sad.
Luckily Jeans story didn't happen in 1996. Minnesota had temps of -50 to -60 in February, with a record low of -60 occurring on Feb. 2nd 1996.
Had those lovely Temps many times in Wisconsin compounded with a ton of snow. You have to learn to live, drive snd daily farm chores with different approach. Live in the south now and when we get the zero or colder weather and snow (less than 6 inches) everyone forgets how to drive their 4x4 trucks and think it won't melt till June. I laugh and say Welcome to Wisconsin in the winter.
Prayer works and you don't have to be religious to pray. In my car are warm blankets, sweaters, an extra coat, lots of nonperishable foods, 2 gallons or drinking water, and hand warming packets. I also have mace and bear spray and effective measures to defend myself against 4 legged and 2 legged predators. Always be prepared for the unexpected. I would last a long time with the provisions that are in my car at all times.
You don’t need all that.... because you think prayer works why prepare all of these things?
You’d miss out on your opportunity to be an unsolved mysteries case tho.
Look up the articles on Lt. Matthew Flores soldier Sgt. Nicholas Grange who died on mysterious circumstances not long before. Flores just got out of the Army. The Army stuff gets odd.
If I was watched the frozen girl scene when I was a kid, I would have developed more severed anxiety disorders jajaja my favorite Tv Program, Greetings from México
If U r about to marry someone who has already been married 4 times before, would U not b a bit concerned!???,🤔🤔
Lil diggin fer sure . All 4 cannot have been bad
Lol if you’re not, you’re really really slow!!
LMAO. Most marriages where the person was already married atleast once does not work out.
The 1990's were the last great decade.
I love how in 1980, the nurses are dressed as if from the 1950's with the white cap..
The guy harassing Sue at the airport job was pathetic. Today he wud be fired for doing anything to a woman at work.
Thank God.
Where I've worked for thirty years now that stuff doesn't go on anymore and I'm glad
Su Taraskiewicz Case: Sept 13, 2019 marked 27 years since her murder. No one has come forward with information on the identity of her killer.

Fun Fact: Elvis had blonde hair. He dyed and styled it to look like Captain Marvel, the comics he collected.
Ever notice the deeper you get into the Robert Stack Seasons (Season 6 and later), the more the episodes focus on Murder and Abduction? They were always a part of the format, but usually it was intermingled with some Aliens, Amnesia, A Missing Relative, Bigfoot, Miracle Healing, Missing Treasure, Ghosts etc. Later episodes it's 75% homicides 25% all other subjects. Might as well as just Forensic Files...
I think all of the paranormal and historical mystery stories dwindled over time and they couldn’t find new somewhat credible stories to fill those genres.
What year did this air? JonBenet Ramsay’s death really launched true crime so maybe that’s why the format changed?
My favorites are seasons 1-5 for sure.
The frozen woman story is quite the mystery, How does one survive freezing for 6 hours with no body damage?
Propylene glycol is a “generally recognized as safe” (GRAS) additive for foods & medications, Could she have had enough propylene glycol in her body to help prevent freezing damage?
Robert Stack picks up a shotgun @33:20. What's funny, he knows how to use it. Not only was he a skeet-shooting champion, during World War II he was US Navy lieutenant serving as a anti-aircraft-gunnery training officer. He was posted on the carriers USS Midway in 1944 and USS Sitkoh Bay in 1945.
This is why i always read comments lolol
I was about to make a comment about this. I think that was his own personal shotgun he wanted to show off. Robert Stack was hecka badass. In the film Airplane! at the age of 60, he still performed his own stunts involving kicking someone and doing a flip over someone's back. It was a hilarious scene.
He also played the G-Man, Elliott Ness of Chicago fame for taking down Capone with hus team. Was made in the 60s and was black and white, but an awsome series, especially in Chicagoland.
3:51 as a minnesotan, that line made me laugh
I'm in love with Mr. Stack
The last pic shown of Su, in the update part at the end of the segment, she looks a lot like Miss Elizabeth
She does!!!! 👑 🌹💖
Lol yeah you're right.
I'm not here to talk about my sexual transition!!
...and she still lives in Minnesota. :)
But wiser...
@@supercooled Hopefully.
I have to say they really do find actors that match the real victim and they can act, to a T.
I wonder if there are any twinless twins like first twins died, but then another set of twins were born and then feels their previous death of their other sibling twins presence, never expect Elvis in this when I thought it was about unsolved murders.
I’ve watched so much depraved stuff on tv and online, but for some reason, I can’t handle Unsolved Mysteries. The music plus Robert Stack’s voice are extremely creepy!
That poor Flores family they never got justice. The killer is still out there.
