Such a pretty little purse! You come up with the loveliest ideas! I will always be grateful for your channel, soothing and peaceful, so good for the heart and soul! Have a wonderful day!
Missed your relaxing videos and glad to see you're back. Lovely background music and will definitely be making a few of these purses. Thank you. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. Take care and hope you are fully recovered xx
What a delightful video. The music that accompanied it was spot on and very relaxing. Always look forward to your posts Emma. Lovely fabric choice as usual and loved the tiny hexagon flower and hand embroidery. Thank you from another sewing mother in Nottingham, UK. XX
What a sweet girl you are and your videos with your lovely soft voice is so relaxing. I’m going to make some of these for gifts, so pretty. Thanks Emma, we all appreciate your work.
Thank you once again Emma for another inspiring tutorial . I love the hexi flower and the sweetly embroidered butterflies. I’m thinking these would make perfect little Christmas gifts for the dear ladies in my quilting group, and if I get started now I should be able to get finished on time .😊
@emmajonesvintagesewingbox I appreciate you always answering or interacting with the people who leave comments/questions. It means a lot to have a channel creator interact! There are some channels I see the creator NEVER answers anyone. I think that's unfortunate. I, for one, appreciate your time (that you not only put into making your videos, but also the time it takes to interact with your followers). It means a lot! ☺️🥰☺️
That was a lovely video Emma. Thank you. I went to Wales for a few days last week and took my box of hexi sewing with me which I haven't done for ages. It was so relaxing. A cottage in the mountains and sewing my hexi's. ❤️
Hi! I hope you had an awesome day! I spent my day in my sewing room getting a big project done and now I get to sit and watch your video while I make yarn. I hope you have a fabulous week ahead. Thank you for posting this video and sharing your positive energy
Thank you Emma for your beautiful video. The music was so relaxing and as always the tutorial was a delight to watch and listen to. I will certainly try making one or two of these little purses. Your embroidery and finish was just perfect. ❤
What a lovely purse! I have been thinking of you. I am so glad to see this video. I know you are such a busy mum. The UK Amazon link was sold out. But I was able to find the same frames on the US site. Since I am US that will be faster. I love this pattern with the butterflies. I am slowly doing your other patterns. Treatments this winter have slowed my progress. My scissor case is in the final assembly.
I’m so happy you are making one, and the scissors case too! It’s been a crazy time but hopefully I can get back into the swing of creating videos now. Thanks so much for watching
I enjoyed watching your tutorial. The little purse 👛 is exactly what I wanted to know how to do. It’s always a pleasure to sit and relax and see what you have created. Thank you 😊💕
I wrap a strip of masking tape on both sides of each metal piece, one piece the exact size of the metal and the other side overlaps to encase the metal. It helps to keep the sharp from wearing thru
Great video Emma😁. Ordered the purse clasps already, so I can have a go at making some😁. Don't think I'll be buying the lights though, well out of my price range. It does however look very good😁. Thanks again. Hope you and your family are all keeping well. Take care🤗
Another lovely video, and I hope to try this little purse. Thank you so much. I have a question for you. I have some small pieces of Liberty fabric that are their prints. I don’t have any plain material that is Liberty. If I want to use my prints in a quilted piece, will it work to add plain quilting cotton with the Liberty prints? They are a little different in weight so I didn’t know if it works to mix the two fabrics. Please give me you thoughts on this. I see that you use plain fabrics with your Liberty prints but I didn’t know if they are Liberty fabrics also. Thanks so much for your help - I appreciate it. Happy stitching and designing………..
Hi Pam, thanks so much for watching. I don’t use any plain Liberty ever. I use plain quilting cotton because it’s cheaper and I don’t mind the difference in the weight of it, I actually like that look. In this video I used Robert Kaufman Essex linen but sometimes I use the Tilda basics quilting cottons, moda Bella solids or art gallery fabrics. I hope that helps
Hi Emma love the little purse. Maybe I missed it but can’t seem to find the size of the hexies or hexiforms that you used for the embellishment. Thank you for the tutorial and pattern. ❤

@@emmajonesvintagesewingbox Yes, that is a big help to me! Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my question. I really appreciate it!🥰
Love your wallpaper. When can I find it. Thank You
Thank you Margaret. It is from Laura Ashley but from about 6 years ago
I have just made myself one of these but with a drawstring instead of flexi frame.
fabulous! I hope you enjoy using it
Hi Emma love the little purse. Maybe I missed it but can’t seem to find the size of the hexies or hexiforms that you used for the embellishment. Thank you for the tutorial and pattern. ❤
If I remember correctly, I used 3/8” size. The info should be on my website on the free patterns page, I hope that helps
❤
Hey Emma, why do you leave the Hexiforms in, but take out the paper?
Hi Becky, the hexiform is fabric so that’s why it stays in. If you left papers in, they would deteriorate over time faster than fabric
What size of needle do you use.
For EPP I use a size 9 milliners

@@emmajonesvintagesewingbox i have been watching you for quite some time. How did I not know this. To bad that I have no way to print them.
@@emmajonesvintagesewingbox muchas gracias 😘 🙂 ♥
I am trying to like your video but nothing is happening?
Thank you Judith, I appreciate you trying. 😊
