What's wrong with the motorcraft OEM carburetor I had mine overhauled by a local guru he pointed out the altitude compensator. I grew up in those years 70's and 80's when the only electronics there were was a few diodes in the alternator. My carb guy he builds custom quadrajets they run so good after he tunes them. On my 86 GW I left the stock motorcraft runs perfect. I'm not against fuel injections like to leave everything the way manufacture built it.
